 + -1 morePyramid Aluminum were courteous, competitive and punctual throughout the entire process. The new gutters look great aesthetically and now that we've had heavy rains, perform very well, especially in a problematic corner above our garage. The installation crew arrived on time and worked continuously until the job was completed. They consulted me on details like positioning of down pipes and run outs to ensure that there wee no surprises. A very professional engagement overall and a great product.
Description of Work: Pyramid Aluminum removed and trashed our old gutters and fitted new seamless gutters to our home.

 + 0 moreNot well It is easier in person to get quite but they never even called back. If you need gutter, they are the ones to call.
Description of Work: We had called them for a quote and he said he would call back to set up an appt time for the next day, no call back 2 day later. not very proffessional. We needed to have hurricane shutters installed and they never called back. However if you need gutters they are the ones to call.

 + 2 moreThere was one problem that extended the time to completion. When the windows arrived it was discovered that they were the wrong type for the job so a new order had to be placed. How and where the error occurred I am not sure but it delayed the job by about 3 weeks. Overall we are happy with finished product and will be using Pyramid Aluminum again.
Description of Work: Pyramid Aluminum, Inc. of Largo. FL constructed a 8' X 12' screen enclosure with Tinted acrylic sliding windows, insulated roof and kick plates. New seamless gutters with down spouts. This entailed the removal of an existing 4'X 4' posts and lattice roof structure. They also had to remove approximately 25 square feet of 2"x 2" paving blocks and replace them with concrete plus they poured a 3'x 4'x 4" pad for the entry-way. Prior to starting the layout they pressure cleaned the area Plus our remaining deck area. Prior to signing the contract, all of the above work effort was submitted on four pages of the Contract Proposal along with two sketches. At signing we also signed a Notice of Commencement for our County Building Inspection Dept. The workmanship is excellent and the crew friendly taking time to answer all my questions and explain in detail what was being done.

NEXT THEY CANE OVER AND HAD TO MOVE LOT OF STUFF OUT OF THEIR WAY,CLIMBED OVER STUFF TO PUT IN THE BOTTOM KICK PLAT. AND SCREEN. THEY ALSO HAD TO CUT UP OLD WOOD DECK TO PUT THE NEW DOOR IN WHERE WE WANTED IT. WAS NOT EASY! NEXT DAY PUT IN THE WINDOWS. THE MEN THAT CAME TO DO THE JOB WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL.. WORK TILL IT WAS DONE WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE WORK OR THE LOOKS OF THE LIANA. THEN LATER A GENTLEMAN CAME OVER AND PUT IN THE POOL RAILING IN WHICH HE POINTED OUT A PROBLEM WE HAD. HE FIX THAT ENOUGH TO PUT THE RAIL IN. THEY ANSWERED ALL QUESTION ASKED. WE CAN;T REMEMBER WHEN THE LAST TIME WE HAD A JOB DONE AS GOOD AS THEY DID IT .

 + 2 moreAfter interviewing five different providers for a new pool enclosure I am convinced that Pyramid Aluminum would do an excellent job and provide 100% satisfaction. They probably were the best of the five, but they were also more expensive then all the others by about 10%. I ultimately chose another provider based on price and did not use Pyramid. However, I'm confident they would provide superior service to whoever chooses them in the future.
Description of Work: Wayne Popiolek the owner of Pyramid Aluminum came to my home at the appointment time set and did a very thorough job answering questions and taking measurements to provide me with a free estimate for a new pool enclosure. Three days later he invited me to visit his showroom in Largo and gave me the tour of not only the show room but also the large shop facility. He introduced to long term employees in engineering, layout and fabrication areas. I was very impressed with Wayne and the company's operation. There was no question in my mind about the quality of materials and the quality of craftsmanship he provides.

 + 1 morePyramid Aluminum is a very good at standing behind their warranty. I had a problem with one window and they came out and didn't like what had happened so they replaced all the windows and frames for no cost at all. They are a very honest company and they do very high quality work.

 + -1 moreThe quality of the work is outstanding but there's no communication. They told me it would take three weeks to get things together and start. But one week after that they had my pool all marked up and ready to go. That would have been great except I had someone else coming to work on another part of the pool so the Pyramid Aluminum workers were in the way. We could have worked it out but there wasn't any communication. That actually happened twice. But the work they do is good

 + 2 moreKen Ables was the first person I met from the company. He arrived on time, was polite, very helpful, and thorough. Ken and I discussed the project options. We decided on a composite roof and a mansard enclosure, which wrapped around the side of the house. Ken returned in a week with a detailed plan of the work to be done. Due to the backlog in such work, we could not get the job started for almost 5 months. Once started, the project moved along nicely. The full crew arrived on time each morning and worked continually. Every person I came in contact with on the phone or in person was polite and professional.
Description of Work: Pyramid Aluminum, Inc. engineered and constructed a 2100 sq. ft. enclosure and composite roof over our patio area and swimming pool. It is an unusually shaped area, which demanded unique angles and engineering. I had already met with men from four other companies, so I was aware that the enclosure had to be very carefully engineered. Three of the four other companies, did not have the knowledge for this sort of enclosure. The one other company could handle the work, however at close to double the price. The enclosure looks beautiful and the unusual structure always draws favorable comments.

 + -1 moreDuring an Apr '05 storm, water streamed into the patio through roof & gutter seams. Pyramid sent Rick (original installer) in May '05 to repair. Rick said the areas hadn't been caulked, which he did, then said they would now withstand the weather. In Jan. '06 another storm caused the same problem in the same areas. I called Pyramid & was told the warranty expired. I questioned the expiration since the caulking was done only 7 months ago & asked for a call from the owner - Wayne. Wayne called & left a VML that Pyramid can't be responsible for the weather's affects on their installations. He said to call him if I wanted to discuss further. I've called Wayne twice & left messages for call-backs. His message was obviously insincere because he hasn't returned my calls. I can only deduct that Pyramid isn't interested in customer or quality service - they only care about new sales & have no time to take care of shoddy installations from the past.
Description of Work: Skip, from Pyramid Aluminum, provided an estimate for removing an existing patio enclosure & for designing & installing a new patio enclosure with insulated roof & gutters to ensure a dry room. Installation was completed on 12/22/04. I hired Pyramid Aluminum because the salesperson was responsive & provided a good design with competitive pricing. Because of his service, I thought that I would be dealing with a reputable company & that I would receive excellent customer service & a patio that would be solid & free of leaks for quite some time - surely for longer than 1 year & 1 month. I was wrong. There are extensive leaks into the patio. These leaks occurred only 4 months after installation & were supposedly repaired. But 7 months later I find that they were not repaired properly. It's possible that the leaks have been going on longer & that I just haven't been home to notice. With this kind of result, the price is not competitive. I could have kept my old enclosure and saved $5,000.

I RECENTLY HAD A ROOM ADDITION AND NEEDED THE ENCLOSURE MODIFIED TO FIT THE ADDITION. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. THE 1ST TIME I USED THEM I HAD THE SAME PUNCTUALITY AND COMPLETE PROFESSIONALISM. THE ENCLOSURE IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK IS UNBELIEVABLE.
