Description of Work: He replaced the ballast for one of the florescent lights in the kitchen. Also, he replaced one of my GFCI outlets. We wanted the technician to check our fuse box because our lights dim when the A/C goes on. He look at the brand name of the fuse box and told us that that brand was one of the best. That was it. I was expecting a better checkup there. The two replacements he did were done well.

Description of Work: I had problems with my electrical going out, which they traced to the old wiring outside my building, as well as my 40 yr. old electrical circuit box. They replaced the circuit box, along with a surge protector, and everything has been fine since.

Description of Work: Our Panel was struck by lightning and blew out the A/C breaker nearly causing a fire. |They showed up earlier than expected. |They did code work and handled getting the permits. |They worked from 9:00AM until almost midnight to get our issue fixed. |We should not have to have any similar issues for many years.

Description of Work: Installed a complicated ceiling light fixture. Referred by Home Depot. Did an excellent job, but seemed a bit over priced. No complaint whatsoever about the work. Used a drop cloth, so as not to leave debris and was very professional. Work looked great when he was done and he was patient at re aiming track lighting.

Description of Work: We called Mister Sparky because our oven wasn't working. The technician was on time and courteous. He spent a short while diagnosing the problem, which turned out to be an electronic component that would have to be replaced by the manufacturer. The original charge was $267, which we felt was outrageous considering the technician only did a diagnostic but no actual repair. We contacted the company and after explaining what happened the manager agreed to reduce the bill to a simple service charge. Kudos to them for providing excellent customer service in this regard.

Description of Work: They are horribly over priced. Spark's gave me an estimate for installing high hat lights in 2 rooms. Their estimate was over $5,000 for 10 high hats and 2 new switches (total). 2 other electricians gave me estimates for the exact same work of $1,200 and $1,400. I never heard from Sparky's again but that's OK because I did not intend to use them.

Description of Work: Installed a ceiling fan. It wobbled and the electrician said it would eventually correct itself. However it was later found that the bracket had not been adequately tightened hence the dangerous wobble.
