Worst customer service ever
Description of Work: Very rude technician. Didn't listen to what the problem was and talked to me as if I was a child, totally unacceptable. I have since gotten two additional quotes and neither were half the cost of what Mister Sparky tech quoted me. I will never use this company and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Description of Work: I needed an electrician to ground the pool pump to the nearby fuse box (located about 3 feet from the pump). The Angie's List offer was $49 for electrical work. I did assume that $49 dollars would be a fair deal for an electrician to come and run 3 feet of naked copper wire from the pump to the fuse box. Big mistake ! | |I was not at home that day, and the person who came told my wife that the fuse box needed to be changed. Gave her an estimate of $2,100, but for the $49 already paid, we would get a whooping $200 discount. Unfortunately, my wife did agree to the job, without asking for an estimate from another company for the same job. The box was replaced, but the exterior outlet was not. So, after paying an outrageous rate I no longer have the exterior electrical outlet I had before. I feel my wife was taken advantage of. That is not what we expect from a firm that is recommended in Angie's list, I am sorry to say.

We do not change prices based on the neighborhood,the time of day or what technician comes to your home.Our prices might be higher than some other companies but with Mister Sparky you can feel safe knowing an uniformed,background checked and drug tested technician that is licensed and insured will show up at your home. We are available 24 hours a day,7 days a week with a live operator to answer your call and all our work carries a minimum 3 year warranty.The technician gave three options for any repairs and an upfront price in writing before any work was started.One option was to do just the grounding system for the pool but the choice to do additional work was chosen with a ten percent Angie's List member discount.We do strive to exceed our client's expectations and we are sorry this did not happen for you. Description of Work: The service provider talked me into new covers for my outdoor outlets. I didn't realize till months later, because I never use them, that one cover was installed with only one screw to hold it on. The second screw hole, which would hold it on tight, was left empty.
