Pros - there is a young sales lady that is thoughtful, kind, and represents the store well. Cons - 1. untruthful - I was told that they match Internet pricing. This is not true. I don't mind if a store doesn't match Internet pricing everyone is initialed to make a living; however, I do mind if they say they do and don't. This is bad business practice. I found the same chandelier they had on display on line for $40.00 less. The older women that answered the phone was rude when I inquired about the difference. She said, "it is what it is" - then she asked the manager about it. He wouldn't match it either. He said, "they don't offer a warrantee" - they do and free shipping as well. He still wouldn't honor the match and was curt. 2. No one answers the phone. I had to call at least 7 times to get a person on the line. 4. No respect to repeat customers. Please understand that it is not about 40 dollars. It is about the treatment I received and the handling of the situation. I went to a similar lighting store in St Petersburg and was treated respectfully. I got the same chandelier for $30 less than House of Shades without any Internet match advertising. And, they answer the phone with courtesy .

We bought a light at this store that we thought would fit in our new kitchen. We brought the light home and carefully installed it but it was immediately apparent that the light did not look good in our kitchen. We carefully uninstalled the light and carefully repackaged it. When we brought it back to the store we were told that they could do nothing for us. So now we have a light that we paid over $380.00 for (including taxes) and our only recourse appears to be to attempt to sell it on EBay. I will never shop at this store again. Also should mention that I looked up the light we bought there on the internet and found it for 320.00 with free shipping. These people are nice until after you buy something from them. I wouldn't expect much of anything from them after that.

I'm always satisfied with the service. I've done business with these people on an intermittent basis over the past few years, so I know that when I go in and ask for a particular product or am searching for something I'd like or have in mind (no matter the size of the order), they'll know just where to look and have a great sense of style in matching product to a customer's requests. Additionally, they are very pleasant, they take their time, and have all their purchase policies clearly stated in the store, so there are no surprises, and I really appreciate that.

This business has one of the best selections of lighting I have seen. We bought bathroom, hall, a beautiful dining room fixture and 2 ceiling fans for our new condo. Plus they give the public ''builder's prices''. Great service and friendly attitude.
