+ -1 moreThis is the worst professional experience we've had since becoming homeowners in the 1970's. The estimate claimed "inspect 1st and 2nd story and replace missing shingles". The never inspected the 1st story where there was a major problem, and the shingles they did replace were light grey as opposed to the brown on the original roof. Randy became abusive saying we didn't ask for an inspection as they charge for those.--website says free estimates. Randy said they matched as close as possible, another problem. It cost us $2,000 to have their "work" corrected by another roofer, and all they did was refund the $500+ that we paid them. They won't take responsibility for the damage they caused and the damage they missed by doing a faulty inspection. AVOID THEM! They lack integrity. BTW, we have photos of the mismatched shingles, the damage they missed, and their faulty work. We're not lying. A subsequent inspector mentioned the possibility of fraud on their part. Could be.
Description of Work: 2 roof vents needed to be replaced and loose/missing shingles needed to be taken care of as well. Hendrick did only one vent, and poor workmanship at that. They blamed the shingle mismatch on "discontinued product", but our new roofer found a great match, which proves it CAN be done. All Hendrick, Danielle or Randy, have done is provided a statement to BBB and Pinellas County Consumer Protection, but no proof other than "word salad" with nothing to back any of their statements. We've reported them to the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board and the Division of Business and Professional Licensing Board. Hendrick is not, for our money, a company that you can trust. It may take a Small Claims Court suit to get their attention. We've got the proof, they've got just words. They didn't answer an email regarding the damage for a month, so there was no way we were giving them another chance when they failed and blamed us.
