Fibre Tech did a good job.

The work proceeded at a slow pace. Also, the company doing the initial drilling of the well points had a different name on the service vehicles so we suspected they were subs. David advised us the workers had arrived with the wrong equipment the first time, they broke some of the equipment on the second attempt and on the third attempt they could not drop a well point deep enough. Monday of the second week, the workers did not show up. We called to inquire on the progress and were told they would be out later that day. They did not show up that day. The next day they did not show up so we called again. We were told by the person who answered the phone that our job had been canceled and our money would be refunded. The reason given was, "The ground on you property is too wet to facilitate the renovation". At no time did Dave or anyone from the company discuss this with us. They simply sent us a letter in the mail with our refund check. Completely unprofessional.

BILL AND ''T'' ARE THE BEST. THEY KEPT ALL OF THE TILES EMBEDDED IN THE STEPS. THEY ALSO REPLACED A FEW TILES THAT HAD FALLEN OFF THE SIDE OF THE POOL AND THE VERTICAL EDGE OF STEPS LEADING TO THE DIVING BOARD. THEY WERE FAST, EFFICIENT, VERY ATTENTIVE TO DETAILS, AND NEAT. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE FINISHED PRODUCT.

Competitive price and good customer service, but decided not to go with fiberglass.

My pool was suffering from neglect and age (starting to crack and bubble). Great experience from the first phone call to the office, to Dave coming by to estimate, to the actual job. I was traveling on business when the actual work was done, but my sister kept an eye on the work. They smoothed out the entire pool and paid specific attention to leak prone areas (pool light, main drain, steps and skimmer). Looks beautiful and they cleaned up nicely. I still had a leak, but this company does not deal in leak dectection (did find that the leaks are in the plumbing, and being taken care of by another Angie's list contractor. ;-) Great job guys!

We had our 15,000 gallon in-ground swimming pool resurfaced by Fibre Tech. We are very pleased with the work that they did. We are extremely satisfied with the smooth finish on the bottom of our pool. A 25 year warranty made us feel great about our decision to use Fibre Tech. Our salesman John Hess, the office staff and the installers were very professional, honest and dependable. We are very pleased with our Fibre Tech Pool and would highly recommend the product and the people working for the company.

THEY WERE GREAT, AND THE POOL LOOKS TERRIFIC. IT TOOK 6 DAYS BECAUSE WE RAN INTO SOME BAD WEATHER. THEY EVEN CAME OUT ON A SATURDAY. THEY ARE VERY NEAT, AND THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY EXPLAINED EACH STEP TO US. WE HAVE REFILLED THE POOL BUT HAVE NOT SWAM IN IT YET.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

DAVE SNYDER GAVE US THE BEST ESTIMATE. THEY INSTALLED TILE, REPAIRED CRACKS, AND FIBERGLASSED THE POOL. THE SURFACE LOOKS GREAT AND HAS A 25 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY. I WAS TOLD THE JOB WOULD BE FINISHED WITHIN ONE WEEK BUT THEY TOOK TWO WEEKS. AS LONG AS YOU ARE PATIENT, THEY GET THE JOB DONE. THEY ARE NOT HAPPY UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED.

I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THE NEW POOL FINISH AS WELL AS THE NEW TILES AT THE WATERLINE AND THE LANAI STAINING. ANDY MORRIS WAS HELPFUL THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS. DON AND WES, THE ON-SITE GUYS, WERE GREAT TO WORK WITH (VERY IMPORTANT SINCE THEY WERE HERE 2 FULL WEEKS)! THEY ARRIVED AS SCHEDULED AND COMPLETED THE JOB EXACTLY WITHIN THE TIME ESTIMATED FOR THE PROJECT. THE CREW'S TECHNICAL COMPETENCE IS VERY GOOD, ESPECIALLY WITH THE POOL WORK. THE DOWN SIDE: THE CRAFTSMANSHIP WAS NOT AS HIGH WITH REGARD TO THE AESTHETIC ASPECTS OF THE CONCRETE REPAIRS ON THE LANAI, SO SOME OF THAT WORK WILL NEED TO BE RE-DONE. IT SHOULD ALSO BE NOTED THAT WHILE FIBRE TECH ADVERTISES THEY ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, THEIR CONTRACT SPECIFIES THAT CLIENTS MUST PAY A ''CONVENIENCE FEE'' OF $150 TO PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD, A PRACTICE THAT VISA TELLS ME IS NOT ALLOWED.

I HAVE PERSONALLY BEEN IN CONSTRUCTION FOR OVER 20 YEARS. I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE THAT YOU DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW GOOD A CONTRACTOR IS UNTIL YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. THE WORKMANSHIP ON MY POOL IS PATHETIC. I DON'T THINK ALL OF FIBERTECHS EMPLOYEES DO THIS KIND OF WORK, HOWEVER WHEN THEY DO, ANDY MORRIS AND SCOTT MORRIS, CHOSE TO WALK AWAY FROM MY POOL RATHER THAN MAKE IT RIGHT. TO MAKE THINGS WORSE, THERE IS NOT A POOL CONTRACTOR IN TAMPA THAT WILL TOUCH MY POOL BECAUSE THEY FEEL IF THEY TRY TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE DONE BY FIBRETECH THEY WILL BE ASSUMING SOME OF THE LIABILITY. MAURICI THE CLEAN PLUMBERS DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. OVERALL EXPERIENCE VERY GOOD. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

AFTER CONFIRMING AN APPOINTMENT DATE AND TIME, COMPANY WAS NO-CALL, NO-SHOW.

WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THIS PROJECT. DAVID SNYDER GAVE US HONEST, NO-SALES, ADVICE AND A FAIR ESTIMATE (BETTER PRICE THAN THE COMPETITORS WE MET WITH). HIS CREW (DON, DEWEY AND THE GANG) DID A FANTASTIC JOB. THEY WERE ONSITE EVERY DAY, CALLED AHEAD TO LET ME KNOW WHEN THEY WERE COMING, AND COMPLETED THE JOB ON SCHEDULE (WITHIN 5 DAYS). WE'RE PLANNING TO HAVE THEM INSTALL A HEAT PUMP LATER THIS YEAR. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

THE WORKERS ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WORK NEATLY.

OBVIOUSLY, THEY HAVE TOO MUCH BUSINESS THAN THEY CAN HANDLE

FRANK AND BEN BUSTED THEIR BUTTS TO GET EVERY FLAKE OF PAINT OFF THE BOTTOM AND WALLS OF THE POOL.FRANK WAS SO METICULOUS TO MAKE SURE THAT THE SURFACE WAS SMOOTH BEFORE APPLYING THE FIBERGLASS.RECENTLY MY MULTI PORT SPRUNG A LEAK. LAWRENCE WAS THERE IN TWO DAYS AND REPLACED IT WITH ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT EVEN THOUGH THE FILTER IS 18 YRS OLD.FINALLY IT IS NOT OFTEN THAT THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY GIVES YOU HIS PERSONAL CELLPHONE#.DAVE WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR MY CALLS AND AND QUESTIONS. THIS IS WHAT I CALL 1ST CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

HE & HIS CREW HAVE A GREAT WORK ETHIC AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. WE WERE AT FIRST HESITANT GOING FROM MARCITE TO FIBERGLASS, BUT ARE THRILLED WITH OUR DECISION! LOOKING FORWARD TO MANY YEARS OF ENJOYING OUR NEW BACKYARD! WHAT WE PAID WAS SIMILAR TO WHAT OTHER MARCITE & DECKING CONTRACTORS QUOTED US. WE HAD ALOT OF WORK DONE.

THIS JOB WAS THE MOST PAINLESS THING WE HAVE EVER DONE. DAVE SNYDER DID THE ESTIMATE AND LAWRENCE DID THE WORK. THE JOB WAS SCHEDULED WITHIN TWO WEEKS AND COMPLETED WITHIN THREE DAYS. BOTH OF THEM WERE VERY COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE. IT WAS A REAL PLEASURE TO WORK WITH THEM AND WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
