My experience with this company started out with excellent communication with Mr. Pruitt. I explained to him that the previous owners of the home we just bought had attempted to dig a shallow well right next to the house. We wanted to have it safely removed and filled in. He was very honest and up front about what he believed we had at our property and how much it would cost to take care of it. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently and charged me exactly what they said they were going to. They left the site of the shallow well in great shape and you can hardly tell it was there anymore. Very happy with the people and the service we received.

I am so glad I chose to work with this company! It was tough news to hear that our wells had run dry or were beyond repair. This was an expense we hadn't planned for so it was really great to work with people who spent the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions to make sure I felt comfortable with the purchase . The day of installation they worked very hard to get the job done correctly and made sure they went over everything with me and cleaned up before they left.

Wow! Holiday week, New Years Eve morning, I knew no one would come out for days. No water, bummer. Talked to Mr. Earl Puritt Sr., what a nice man. Told him "I have no water", he said "Can be there today", His son and helper came out and looked at my well. Total breakdown, just as I feared. Not only did they get me up and going with a new well pump and tank in one day, they did it at a very reasonable price. I felt very at ease, he explained everything and seemed very sincere. I will recommend him to everyone, and use his expertise again, if needed. Thank You Mr. Puritt and Sons.

Although it was a holiday week, Earl came out to fix the pump at 8:00. He was prompt and professional and very knowledgeable in pump repair. It wasn't a difficult job but to me he was a life saver. Would definitely recommend him.

Earl called me a minute prior to his arrival time to tell me what street he was on and that he was running ten minutes late. I was shocked and extremely pleased as we set the appointment the prior week and was thrilled to know he hadn't forgotten. He came with his son and another employee. They were all very professional. He gave me a quote for the work and due to calling from Angie's list if I chose not to do the work there would be no service charge for them determining the problem. I told them to go ahead. They were finished within a half hour and left everything impeccable. I would use them again if ever a need.

The job was done on the scheduled date and it went very well (no pun intended). They explained what was to be done and went over it again when the job was started. They also did a very good job of cleaning up when they had finished.

I called Mr. Pruitt in the morning and explained that my pump was broken and needed to be replaced. I had already called several companies who could not come out for days. Mr. Pruitt said said that they were very busy but he would call me back in 10 minutes when he was able to review the schedule. He called me as promised and informed me that someone could come out at noon. I was extremely happy as I had over an acre of lawn that wasnt being watered and I was afraid that it would die. The guys showed up at exactly noon and checked out the electrical as well as the pump. They were able to order a pump right away and left to pick it up. They returned and installed the pump, ran a test and checked the system again. They even gave me advice on watering and mowing the grass. Overall it was a great experience . I might have just been lucky that they had an opening but I felt very confident in their abilities and I would definitely use them again even if I had to wait. They knew what they were doing, were professional and punctual. Great work and Thank you.

Very professional and easy to communicate with. They updated me on arrival time and let me know exactly what problem was. Only downside was cost of the 2 gal pressure tank of $130. I could have bought it much cheaper and its an easy install.

The job went great, and the quality of parts and work was above what I expected. I have confidence that the system is good for a long time because it was repaired correctly with quality parts and professional procedures. He was slightly late arriving due to some staffing calling,, but profusely apologetic, and got right to work.

I called Mr. Earl Pruitt and arranged an appointment time for them to come by to assess my needs and to give me an estimate. Dave Pruitt was prompt at arriving at the scheduled appointment time and explained what well(s) and pump I would need for a lawn irrigation system I plan to have installed. We argreed on terms and work was to begin next day Dave Pruitt and the work crew arrived and set to work drilling 2 wells and installing the pump. Dave was very knowlegable and pleasant in answered my questions and explained what they were doing. Earl Pruitt came by while the work was in progress. They did a good cleanup when finished. . I was impressed with the Dave Pruitt's skill and his work crew's efficiency. Also apprciated their quick responsiveness.

Mr Pruitt was for lack of another word... Amazing! When our well pump went out Mr Pruitt arrived very quickly, Performed all of the required work within a very short time. When his other employees were busy at another site, Mr Pruitt and his friend and helper performed the work personally in the pouring rain so that we would not be with out water. He was friendly, kind and performed the job quickly and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Mr Pruitt to anyone needing well or pump services.

When our well pump quit working due to damage from long-term non-use and improper priming, Mr. Pruitt described what occurred and our options to repair or replace, as well as various models and prices. His is a multi-generational family business and his current employees include his 5 sons. They're knowledgeable about wells, pumps and related equipment from all major suppliers. Mr. Pruitt was professional, courteous and informative. We have not had any problems with the new pump he recommended and his sons installed. I recommend this company.

I was out of town when tropical storm Debby hit and my house sitter reported that my well pipe burst and was spewing a lovely waterfall all over my rain soaked yard. The hopped on Angie's List and found Earl Pruitt. He was very responsive and came out right away to fix it for me while dealing with many other customers who had emergencies due to the storm. I came home to see the new valve and his contact information on the well equipment so I can contact him quickly if I need him again -- smart! I'd use him again for any of my well or irragation needs.

I checked the cost of the replacement part online at the time, and they gave me a good price, they were prompt, very courteous, and the job was complete with no fuss or muss. My pump is located within a VERY STURDY "dog house" type structure which made their work more challenging, but they didn't seem to mind. I was very impressed and will gladly use them any time I have an issue with my lawn pump. :-)

It started as a do-it-yourself project drilling a few sand point wells that frustrated me because I couldn't find water. I called Earl Pruitt to hire him to finish the job I started. Earl told me that my water table was 160 ft down & that the only thing he could offer was an alternative of a deep water well. Earl's up-front honesty was refreshing and I would hire him in the future.

They are professional and they do a quality job. I will use them again in the future.

Earl checked the system thoroughly to make sure there were no other issues. Everything is working and was able to watermy entire lawn today.

We built our home in 2007 in Clearwater Floirda. The experience was not pleasant. If it weren't for a very select number of contractors we would have never completed. Since that time we've encountered minor issues which we've been able solve. Then our old well, new pump, and new irrigation system began to fail. We did all we could on our own; dug up the well and replaced the foot valve, flushed out the irrigation valves, etc. We just couldn't get it to work. We called Earl Pruitt's Well & Pump Service. We didn't expect much given our previous experience with Florida contractors (not meaning to knock them all, but our experience hasn't been positive). We were happy with Earl's serivce from the first phone call to the end result. We called 5 well service companies and left messages. Our call was promptly returned by Earl's. We were given a brief explanation of what the problem could be along with a best and worst case estimate. We were given a date and time that they would be at the house to take a look. They were on time! During the examination of the problem, it was determined that the well casing had failed and was taking in sand. They explained the situation with confidence and what the solution was. They were extremely thorough in the process and explained each step methodolically. Once that issue was resolved they turned to and fixed the irrigation system, adjusted the heads, and enhanced the pump, well, and irrigation piping with no additional charge or being asked to fix the issues (we didn't know about those problems, they informed us and fixed them on the spot). Their technicians were knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. It was huge sigh of relief and a job well done!

It went well. Suggest any one getting this work done-have the service explain what needs to be done.....so the owner//customer will understand what is involved.

BUYER BEWARE! 3 WEEKS FROM CALL TO APPOINTMENT. SERVICE TO ADDRESS BROKEN WIRES WHICH WERE CUT BY CONCRETE WORKER(ESTIMATE $150). NEW WIRE HAD ALREADY BEEN LAID BY LAWN PERSON BUT HE WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETE CONNECTIONS TO VALVE. PRUITT SAID THEY NEEDED TO "RENT" A VALVE TRACKER ($125) TO FIX THE WIRING. THEY SAID THEY HAD TO BE REWIRE (55' CHARGING $165) AND REFUSED TO BURY WIRE. LAWN PERSON VERIFIED NO NEW WIRE LAID. EVERY TIME THEY TURNED AROUND THEY WERE STATING SOMETHING ELSE HAD TO BE FIXED (PUMP MELT DOWN ECT) AND STATED THAT WITH THAT REPAIR I WOULD HAVE A WORKING SYSTEM. WAS ADVISED WHOLE SYSTEM, PUMP, AND WELL ALL IN GOOD CONDITION. LESS THAN WEEK LATER THE SYSTEM WAS NOT WORKING. MULTIPLE CALLS AND WAS TOLD WE NEED A NEW WELL. SENT CERTIFIED LETTER (IGNORED) AND LAST DITCH PHONE CALL FINALLY AGREED TO COME OUT AND LOOK AT. HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 3 1/2 WEEKS TO FIND OUT THAT PRUITT DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY. FINALLY ORDERED HIM OFF PROPERTY.
