Description of Work: Signed up for annual salt run. My husband and I do not like to carry the 40 lb bags of salt up the stairs to our condo, so when the technician from Benjamin Franklin pluming told us about the salt run they offer, we snapped it up. It is great! When you need more salt, you call them up, schedule a delivery date, and they call ahead of when they're coming out to deliver the salt. They check out the other plumbing things they've fixed in the past, answer any questions you may have, and take care of the salt! Greatest experience!

Description of Work: Changed out plumbing in upstairs toilet. |The work was fine, but we did not like the fact that the staff tried to get us to redo all toilets (as 'preventive'), and also tried to talk us into purchasing a plumbing contract.

Description of Work: They repaired a Toto toilet, replaced the flapper, put a new handle on and put a new fill valve on. I have had this company 2 times. They were recommended by my daughter. They pride themselves on punctuality. Very quite workers, very clean, wear booties in the house. Very prompt in getting in touch with you. I certainly will call them again if there is a need.

Description of Work: He put in a new drain and 16 inch pipe. Finished in less than a half hour. Charged me over $700. He broke the main valve at the street and I was without water for 3 hour until the county could come out to fix.

Description of Work: The person took 3 minutes to look at the problem with my kitchen sink faucet. Then took 45 minutes writing up estimates. Then when I asked to see the low and medium estimate faucet, it turns out he had neither and I was told neither would work on my sink So why did he bother to write these up? The very expensive estimate, over $600 was available and the faucet finish did not match my kitchen. He then recommended I buy my own faucet and then he spent another 15 minutes checking with his boss out by his truck and came back and told me with my coupon ($55 off), they could install the faucet for another $236 when I called them back and I had to pay $49 for his visit to my house that day. I felt totally ripped off. There ad and the person I spoke with stated they had everything on their truck and could fix any problem. Not so.

Description of Work: I called for service @ 5pm on Friday because of plumbing blockage. I called them because their advertising claims no extra charges for holidays or weekends or after hours. Well, first I was told that the minimum charge was $99 for emergency service. I tried to find out if the charge included anything other than a trip charge. She just repeated the base cost of $99. but offered me the price of $76 if I could wait until tomorrow. I asked her again what the $99 included. The 'operator' couldn't answer the question no matter what way I asked it - she finally put me on hold and never came back to me.

Description of Work: Replaced PVC flange for toilet in master bath

Description of Work: Replaced old toilet in master bathroom. Had to cut off old cast iron flange that was installed incorrectly when house was build. Installed a new flange and toilet.

Description of Work: They preformed an inspection, and they replaced a spigot outside.

Description of Work: They did a plumbing service, checking the faucets, and looked at all the plumbing. He drained and serviced the hot water heater. He checked out all the outer faucets. He cleaned the lint out of the tube. He troubleshot that it was electrical line garbage disposal, and that replacement was not necessary. He fixed the leaking PVC under sink.

Description of Work: CLEARED EVERYTHING FOR ME. PUT ON NEW HOSES AND SHUT OFF ON WASHING MACHINE.
