Description of Work: No air conditioning, so I referred to Angie's List for a well-rated company in my area. During initial visit, technician said that the blower motor module needed to be replaced. It was still under warranty from the manufacturer (Trane), so I only needed to pay for installation labor. He charged me for the total job before ordering parts. He came back to do the work on a second visit. Technician was very professional, and I'd use him again. I'm glad that he was assigned to do the installation as well as the analysis. I was told by the office that the charge was based on the average work time according to an industry manual, but the technician completed the job in half the time. I felt the price was excessive but the work was very satisfactory.

Description of Work: Didn't really try to fix the problem, he told me there was no chance my AC system would ever run again and then he tried to get me to buy new equipment instead. The contractor I hired independently identified the cause of the problem and was able to resolve it.

Description of Work: First AC company I have used to get my house cooled and stay at that temperature. Despite 90 degree plus weather every day, house has stayed at 73 degrees since first of June. Highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: I had preventative maintenance/tune up completed. I made and error when I scheduled, and the service I needed actually required extra time and cost more than I had paid when scheduling. The technician was very kind and stayed to complete the full service even though it took longer. He said he would have the office call me to work out the financial arrangements. When I was called a couple of days later, the focus was on making sure I was happy with the work, not the payment. I was very impressed with the professionalism and customer focus. I used another company for many years and each time they came out, they tried to sell me a new system. I finally got fed up and decided to shop around for a new AC company. And now I have found them. Description of Work: The Bay Area group was asked to test, evaluate and service our A/C unit if needed. We were please to get a passing rating with no service required at that time. The reading didn't even call for a freon top off. We liked the plain english evaluation and it was good to know the owner maintenance we perform like filter changing and drain line maintenance is helping our unit perform at its best. Description of Work: Annual A/C service (used Angie's List Big Deal) and replaced starter assist on A/C. This should address my higher than normal summer A/C electric bills at my Florida condo. The technician was very professional, punctual and friendly. I would use their services again for heating or A/C maintenance and repair.
