I needed a new HVAC company, and found Bay Area on Angie's List. They were pleasant on the phone, worked the appointment around my schedule, and arrived promptly. They wore shoe covers in the house. Service tech was familiar with my gas heater, which is not frequently used in my location. This gained my confidence, and I will use them again.

They've been great. Vicki who works in the office is terrific. She is very positive and helpful. Everyone who has come to my house has been good too.

Repairman arrived on time. Appearance and demeanor were professionsl Once he was shown where the a/c unit was, he organized his tools and began working. At different intervals during the repair, he stopped to explain what he was doing which I appreciated. Made additional recommendations for improving a/c's perfromance in the future.

Our Trane heat pump, which had been causing problems, had run out of Freon yet again. Other units in our development had been failing. We asked Bay Area about replacing the defective part. They gave us several alternatives. We decided to replace the whole system. When they came to install the new system, they discovered that the original air handler had been incorrectly installed

I hired Bay Area to do a quick survey of my A/C system and find out if there were any issues that needed repair. I had just purchased a new home (new to me, but very old) and I needed to know the status of the overall system. They provided excellent advice and even offered a discounted plan for any services I may need in the future. The service staff wasn't pushy at all and did a very thorough job of inspecting all facets of the system.

They were very responsive, honest and courteous. The system is kind of old and they did try to sell us a new system. However, they didn't try to hard sell us. We were able to get it fixed by another company. I appreciated their dedication while not trying to hard sell us on a new system. I would use them again.

The salesman who handled the order was knowledgeable and efficient and presented three options for me to consider. He also handled the rebate from TECO and took that off the bill up front as well as all the permitting with the City of Temple Terrace. The technicians that did the actual work were on time, got everything done in one day and cleaned up after themselves and removed all the old equipment. There was a minor problem the week following while I was out of town but my son-in-law was able to call the company and get a tech out wihin the hour to handle the situation. Once the city of TT signed off, the tech came back and put on the locks that the city requires.

Did a little extra work such as taping insulation to cabinet, tighten electrical connections, discussed mainteneance agreement

Overall it was a positive experience. A good reminder that an ouce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

I bought the Angie's List deal for air duct sanitizing but my heat pump wasn't working and the company said they couldn't do the sanitization if my system wasn't working - so I lost the money I paid for the deal.

Their sales rep was not pushy at all. They were willing and kind enough to provide all the information we asked for. They did a top notch job. When we needed a follow-up, they came out with no issue. They went out of their way to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. They even offered a 10 year warranty.

Service man informed me about a few items which were not performed to code when the A/C unit was installed a year or two earlier. That was interesting information, and not required. But it did enhance my opinion of his knowledge and skill.
