It went well! The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work. The unit has been working perfectly since they did the work.

That turned out really well. I still have the agreement active and I have one more service to use. They are professional and punctual. I am satisfied with them.

When I do replace my system I do intend to use this company. I believe they are fair and reputable and reasonably priced.

It turned out pretty well. They had to replace the fan that was not working. The only problem was they had to order it...so it was a couple of days before I got it and they called me and said for another couple more days...so we had a heat that didn't work and it was cold out for five days but for all those deals they had to order it. They made sure that everything was okay and do whatever major thing needed to do. I will recommend them.

They came to replace the fan and they were not the company that I had the warranty under so I had to switch the warranty over to them so I could use them in the future warranty under work. It was covered with warranty so I wasn't charged. If there's any negative it took longer than expected to do it because they had to order the fan...they don't have stock...there's no reason that they were the problem with that.

I have used them twice. It was 3 weeks ago. It was around $400. I got a yearly service ring within as well, so, that was $150 probably on that, and then, for the actual service a $180. Again, it was a mass like company or so. I know that I have a return of 4 wheeler house and doing all the stuff works. I may tried to get some real to put up, so, when I have to come out there, when I am not there, and pick and answer me why Angie’s list is in the first place.

The technician had to drive to Tampa to get the part.

Be aware that if you have two units there is a double charge, which seems fair.

What I was looking for was having my air ducts cleaned. They went into my air handler and checked the filter. They also vacuumed around the area as well. I am still getting some debris from the air ducts since we are using it quite a bit for the heat. Just what I expected and what I got was different. I asked the technician to vacuum up some debris around a couple of vents. The vacuum he used did not have a receptor on the other end and shot the debris all over on my floor.

They are very quick to respond. Any time that I have had an issue in the past with my old air conditioner, they were out there even if it was after hours. One time, they came after hours and did not even charge me for the service call which was great. That was one of the reasons why I went with them for the new air conditioner and it was put in in a very professional manner. It was just a great experience overall. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Fast and reliable service. Technician explained issue and fixed it. The Technician arrived at the scheduled time frame and They were able to provide service within 12-24 hours of the phone call. Materials were available to repair immediately. Tech also performed preventative maintance to avoid future problems.

It turned out great. There was nothing wrong with my A/C so they didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. They came out immediately after I purchased the deal. The technician was very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything he was doing. They are a really honest company.

Week before I got a feeling that my A/C is about to die, since it's showed two separate problems few days apart. I got a service technician and found out that I need to spend $400 to recharge leaking system (I had Trane: external unit 20 years old, internal 10 years old and leaking). These put me in position to fully replace the system, since timing was good. I got 4 different top companies from Angies list and got 4 different estimates (8K - 11K). The reason I chosen Bay Area are: - estimation was the lowest from other companies - the way estimation was presented was really good, since I had an option to play with different models in Excel file and see what discounts and rebates I would be getting. I was considering to get 20XLi, but looks like it didn't qualify for Duke's rebated due to EER rating and Bay Area was the only company showed this to me - company didn't try to include 12 years labor insurance by default, which was keeping price down significantly and one of other companies did - I've had an opportunity to play with efficiency calculator during sales process to see how more efficient unit will pay itself in bext 5-10 years. This was one of the deciding factors for me to spend extra $$ or keep them. Installation took 6 hours and guys were very good, professional and helpful. I've asked them many questions (sorry guys for the pain you were getting!!). Qualify of the installation is exceptional and unit looks like it was always there. All pipes were nicely covered and guys really spend good time of make it system sealed and pretty. We had small issue (not related to installation), but it ended up with good extra discount (thank you to sale's person), which made me more happier, since amount to spend was significant and was not really planned. Overall I would recommend the company, they did a good job. I will refer my friends, who need A/C replacement to Bay Area. I hope they keep prices low and job quality the same high.

On one of the visits they wanted to install a second vent at a cost of 600.00. This consisted of cutting a hole on the other side of the vent in the wall inserting a new intake vent. We did this in 45 minutes on our own and the parts cost a total of 40.00. That was a disappointment to say the least. We have been appraised of a couple of new issues with our unit and will investigate making the needed repairs.

Air Duct Sanitizing. | |Very Punctual and responsive. Wife was home but commented that she didn't know what exactly they did for the duct sanitizing service and no difference was noticed afterwards.

My central air stopped working. I purchased a deal from Angie's list, and called this provider. They were very responsive, and considerate of the 90 degree weather my family and I were coping with. They came out the same day, diagnosed the problem. They came back and replaced the motor the very next day. I was so relieved to have A/C again! I never realized how hot it can be in Florida in October!

As requested, the technician called ahead to let me know he was on the way and he was even ahead of the scheduled time. He checked my unit in the attic to diagnose why my unit was not coming on and found that it was a blown fuse. He showed me what the fuse looked like and also informed me that my unit was very old and very rusted. After changing the fuse, the unit did come on, but he also checked my thermostat to see why the fuse blew in the first place. While doing so, he discovered that my thermostat had not been properly wired for a heat pump. After double checking the thermostat manual he made some adjustments and explained what he was doing and why. I was very pleased with his work and that he took the time to explain everything to me.

This was part of a semi-annual inspection as part of my maintenance agreement. The tech arrived and was flexible to work around my electrician there that same day. He went through the whole system and pointed out an issue that needed repaired in the UV light. He explained everything he did and was very professional. I am quite pleased with the service and the value.

I did not care for it. They told me that I needed a new air conditioner, which was not the case. They also spilt liquid that came through my floor and all over the ceiling. It happened while they were there and they were aware of it. They were apologetic and my painting contractor fixed it. I had someone else take a look at it and they did not say anything about needing a new air conditioner. I will not use them again.

We are happy with them. If there is anything worn with our A/C or heating unit we will call them. Everything has been fine. We have been using them for a couple of years now. When I called them they showed up within a half an hour one time when my A/C went out. They are really nice people. We also have a service contract with them.

Performed annual maintenance on HVAC system plus annual maintenance contract.

All went well. I would have liked to be informed that I had to supply the replacement filter

They came out to do a tune-up and alerted us to problems with unit. We knew the unit was old and it had been limping for years. We were selling house and decided to install a new unit to help the sale of house. We got several estimates but Bay Area gave us the best for Trane 2-ton unit. They waved the tune-up fee due to purchase. They installed a light in the attic by the unit to meet code. The workmen were personable and punctual. We have since used Bay Area for Cental air repair at our new home.
