Purchased Angie's Deal last month and was scheduled for July 1. On June 30 I had a call asking me if I had air and when I told them I did, was asked if they could reschedule for July 10 since they were swamped with requests from people who had absolutely no air. Tina rescheduled me for today between 9 and 2 and approximately 9:45 I had a call from Jerry, telling me that I was next on his list and that he would be there in about 15 min. I was a bit apprehensive since the person who had come on 2 previous occasions was no longer working there, but was pleasantly surprised by Jerry's demeanor and professionalism. After checking everything thoroughly he told me that he was sorry, but that he could not find anything wrong with the system. That everything checked out well. Hopefully I will not have any reason to call them again until next year when it will be time for another tune-up.

Overall very good service. Diagnosed the problem fairly quickly and gave the option of repair with accurate cost ahead of time. Technician was professional and was able to call in to the office and do the repairs right then and there. Cost to run new wiring and the wire itself seemed slightly high but it was a difficult installation due to crawl space. I would recommend and use again.

It went well and everything was fine.

They did great. The air conditioning was making all kinds of noise and it was not working. They came out and did whatever and it worked.

I think they overcharged me. They keep calling me since the repair and I don't like them. They told me that the UV light that I had for my air conditioner wasn't powerful enough and they took it out and put another one in, so when I had another company come to look at my unit he told me that they took out the better one and put in an inferior one so he switched it out for me for free. I now have an extra UV light here because they told me mine wasn't working. They charged me about $1500 to do that bad job and Jamie Air said that thy would've charged me about $500 for the same thing. So I felt like they did a lot of up selling and they did things that weren't necessary. I would tell others to do their research and whatever they tell you make sure it's accurate.

Tina was very understanding and she worked to make sure my mom would get an appointment within 24 hours. The technician arrived the next day as scheduled. Found the issue and repaired it as per the estimate. Estimate in line with others.

They were nice but did not service our area but gave a referral of another company in our area.

They said they would get back to me with the estimate on a dehumidifier and other info based on my manual-J, but they completely blew me off. The tech also said the key flaw in our system was having an ERV .... which THEY recommended in the first place! The tech did not have very good people skills: a bit condescending, not very professional, too many missing teeth (I feel bad for him, but it does not instill confidence in his advice; toothless people should not be customer-facing). Bay Area is one of the leading HVAC co's. in the area; they should offer health and dental insurance to their employees.

There was some sort of mix up on the scheduling. However they came to my home after hours and didn't charge the additional fees. He was pretty nice to deal with.

Went great. He arrived as scheduled performed the required check and informed what was needed. Installed new part. Everything checked out great. Up-sold me a service contract.

BEWARE just because they state on their offers that they cover hillsborough county, they do not. This company picks and chooses where they will offer service and you have to wait 10 days for a refund, if you are a lawyer and live on the outskirts of hillsborough county buy one of their deals and have fun In response to company: apparently your map reading skills preclude you from properly reading a map so let me fill you in ruskin is in southern hillsborough and your deal said it covered hillsborough in the FINE print, the when clicking on the deal it doesnt take you to your companies main page nor would i because i got all the information i needed from the fine print of the deal. However i noticed that you removed that statement from your fine print good for you to stop the confusion as for your comment a simple sorry we will remove that as it is misleading aka false advertisement would have sufficed your whole statement was incorrect and childish just goes to show what kind of PROFESSIONAL company you are. As far as your purchase of the $ 49 dollar service tune up offer, Bay Area Heating and Cooling have no control of that money, you paid Angies list direct and you have to contact Angies List to receive a credit/ money back As far as your comment if you are a lawyer on the outskirts of Hillsborough county then buy one of our deals I find this outlandish, we service all customers in our service area regardless of there careers and yes we also service lawyers. You may want to consult a lawyer before you make any further purchases online and allow them to actually read the terms of your purchases as to relieve you of any further stress or embarassment Thanks and as always have a great DAY :-)

Service was good. I ended up only using the two AC tune-ups. Needed to replace a capacitor, and even with the 1-year contract, the price seemed a bit high. I'll consider this company when it comes time to replace my AC, but I will definitely be shopping around.

Great! The technician diagnosed the problem very quickly, and was done within 20min. It was a bad capacitor. He had some advice on moving the dryer vent.

They came out in the fall and spring. It has turned out well. They told me where to buy filters. I will continue to use them.

I had a very good experience with them. They were very professional. They did everything and gave me a great deal of information. I had a promotion code and it was like $99 for each air conditioner. It was reasonable. The overall inspection was $99 per unit and then 2 of the parts had to be replaced on one of them. He had it with him and replaced that immediately. There was no problem after that. The guy was very thorough and he walked through all the technical stuff with me with a jargon that I can understand. He was here for a couple of hours. I would say the pricing was very good for what he did. His responsiveness was very good.

It didn't go well in the beginning. There was a last minute scheduling changes. When the person came, they weren't prepared to do the job. The young man who came, spoke very unprofessionally and showed me attitude. He told me that I should get a whole new AC unit, and I declined, wanting him to move forward with the job we had agreed upon. When I called to complain about the young man, the woman on the phone said that they have had many issues with him. I don't understand why they sent him to my house, if they had issues with him. The owner never got back to me with the disposition. The AC unit ended up breaking and they sent someone else out. The other man they sent out was much more professional. Thankfully, he was able to resolve the issue. I had an overall good experience with the company. I just wish that I could have avoided the original experience, by having someone more professional come in the first place.

They took over for Kool Kat. They happened to honor the Kool Kat commitment so there was no charge for the labor. So far they have been very honorable in taking over what the other company was doing. It was only a one time deal. I would recommend them. They were responsive and showed up on time. They did what they had to do. We have a peculiar air conditioner that required a different air conditioner filter and in one day they managed to replace the filter and get a new one with the correct size. They were quite professional.

I've used them several times. I like them. They were prompt, on time and friendly. I had a coupon. I would use them again and I would definitely recommend them.

It went fine and I feel comfortable recommending them. They were on time and they did a good job. When we got the new air conditioner, our bill went down by half. I think that their pricing is good. They are not the cheapest but, I have no complaints at all. I would use them again.

I've had them as a provider for many years. They are always timely and do excellent work at affordable prices. When there is an emergency they will come out as quickly as they can and make repairs. I would recommend them to anyone. In fact they were recommended to me as a friend, for which I'm grateful.

He tested everything and said the fruit rats must have eaten through a wire in the attic and that the line would need replacing but that it would be after the holiday weekend. He did not charge for the call which was a really good thing but probably should have looked a bit further and gone into the roof because someone else came and found a smaller problem which was repaired in 2 hours of thoroughly looking.

The technician found a setting that needed to be changed in the thermostat and corrected the problem. The service was good however I was charged for the service call ($59) and to program the thermostat ($195), which I feel is too much as only one setting was changed which took a few minutes.

The service was wonderful. The service gentleman even gave us a book for the thermostat in the house because we did not understand this complex thermostat. My rating is simply because of the cost. We had to have coolant and dye put in for leak analysis. I think $600 is extremely costly for the time involved and the service provided. However, I can say the issue was analyzed and resolved to our satisfaction.
