It was fine. It was basic. They did what we needed. It was a little bit more because we needed more work done. They were very professional and very knowledgeable. They were in and out quickly. He was just very courteous in entering inside the house. His feet were clean and he introduced himself.

The technician that they sent over, he was really honest and did a great job.

The technician arrived on time, conducted a very through inspection, and gave us a report of what he found. He also connected us with his office to schedule a representative who will come out to give us an estimate for eventually replacing the system.

We knew we had a problem with our blower motor. A previous company had rigged it and it wasn't working well. We had Bay Area come out an evaluate how bad the issue was and if we had other problem. The technician that came out was very nice and professional. The repair to the blower was going to be $2300. The suggested a replacement system for 6, 8 or 10K. ISSUE 1: We decided to get a price check. Another company (another large company) quoted $1300 for the same job. (I asked twice if that was right.) ISSUE 2: When the other company came out to do the work, they discovered the coil outside was full of debris and needed coolant. I am very frustrated this wasn't caught by Bay Area. I specifically asked them to check cooling levels. Again, they were very professional, I think they just came to a quick conclusion and were very over priced. This may have been to "lean" us toward buying a new system.

But the problem was not fixed so they came back a week later to fix the problem without charge. There were two other company's that came and were not able to diagnose the problem.

They offered a $50 discount through Angie's list. They were prompt and professional.

The technician arrived on time. He appeared thorough, and did not appear to rush. He gave a very informative review of the system, and recommended improvements, without pressure.

Mike came when he said he'd be here. He did his job quickly and efficiently. He answered our questions. Bay Area Heating and Cooling is our go-to AC vendor.

System failed to cool so called them. They were booked up but did squeeze me in which I appreciate. Repair man found blower in heat exchange not operating. Ordered replacement part under warrantee and it was delivered and installed next day. I timed the installation and it was about 1 1/4 hrs. I was charged $404.25 for that labor. This include the $70 service call to diagnose the issue so the actual charge for 1 1/4 hrs labor was $334.25. Very expensive labor bill for a warrantee repair. They did a good job on the repair but be aware that it is very costly.

Greg called to confirm the appointment and to tell me he was on the way. He arrived, greeted me, introduced himself and got right to work. He was very considerate to my dog. :-) He got the work done and thanked me for the opportunity to do business with them. He wore shoe covering when he entered the house.

I have had several other companies perform an a/c check and they were much more thorough than this company. Very pleasant but just did not do the usual maintenance other companies have done in the past.

Everything went well. Called them back to address a problem. Responded quickly and fixed the problem.

In December 2014 Bay Area Heating and Cooling, Inc. (Bay Area) installed a new gas furnace and cooling system in my residence ($10,000.00) and did an excellent job. Because of this, I had them conduct a "Complete System Tune-Up" ($59.95) on both my aunt's and my daughter's systems. We replaced the working parts that the tech indicated could fail soon; spending over $1,100.00. On my daughter's system, which was installed by Bay Area in 2009, the tech replaced a blower motor capacitor (non-warranty) and installed a start assist for the compressor (non-warranty); however, the tech never addressed the fan/compress capacitor next to the start assist he installed;which was later determined to have had a rusted top (possible warranty part). Three weeks later this part failed and the system was blowing hot air (outside temp in the high 80"s to low 90's). My son-in-law contacted Bay Area at 8:00 am on a Wednesday and was told that a tech could not come out until late Thursday afternoon; not an acceptable response from a business that adversities itself as a 24-7 service company. We contacted another company and had the capacitor replaced that afternoon, at our cost. Hope my new system needs no warranty work as the thought of going without air conditioning for 2 days during a hot Florida summer is not very appealing. Very disappointed!

Arrived on time, was very considerate as I had an infant in the house with me, was courteous and respectful, provided a written quote of everything, offered advice for future enhancements to the system without the pressure to buy anything now.

They provide excellent service. They are there when they are supposed to be and did what was needed. Everytime its the same experience.

General tune-up of the system I also asked that they replace air handler filter, which I knew this was expensive and not included in the price. It was $135. After opening up the heat pump, the technician said that the capacitor was showing signs of failure because it was beginning to leak fluid. That was $212 extra. I am a little unsure of how to rate this experience because of the extra cost of the capacitor, but am giving them the benefit of the doubt because my research showed that capacitor failure is a common problem after a few years.

The technician was very professional and thorough. He was not a high-pressures sales person trying to sell me a new A/C unit (as many have been in the past) because of the old age of my A/C. I will definitely use this company again in the future for service.

On the website I had the choice of Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I never heard from them so I called them. They informed me they were back up and could not get out. I need someone now so I decided to not go with this deal.

Technician arrived within a few hours of my call and he reviewed the system and quickly determined the cause of the problem. He provided me with my options for repair and he got the unit up and running quickly. Overall pleasant experience.
