The service was good. I found out after the fact how overpriced the item was. I was charged $175 for the capacitor. I looked online after, and found out the part goes for under $10.

The work was done and the AC technican was very professional.

Call and got Tech to come on time, checked situation and found bad connection on control board, wire needed replacement. Job complete in timely matter, price was higher due to short time/weekend rate. Wuld consider in future if service needed.

The job went very well. Gerdon and Robert, the technicians, were on time and worked from 8:45 to approx 6:15. They were very professional, personable and cleaned up well.

They were knowledgeable, professional and responsive. They were able to come out quickly. We have used them two or three times.

Jason arrived near the beginning of the service window (12-4) and started with a checkup of my air handler. He found that another technician had installed my UV light in an inadequate location, so he relocated the UV light free of charge. The only other problem he found was that a capacitor was nearly worn out, so he replaced it. Jason gave me tips on the proper maintenance of the A/C system while he did the service on it. The only cost to me was the price of the capacitor and the price of the Angie's List coupon.

He lied, because it ended up being a crack in the drip pan. I was told there was a freon leak causing the dripping and need to replace both units.

First off, I would like to commend and thank Bay Area Heating & Cooling Inc., namely Vince for providing both the motivation and incentive to learn what needed to be done on our part for the services quoted. For only $140 (approximate) in parts, a 20 minute conversation with Home Depot personnel, and 90 minutes of labor, the entire job was completed by a housewife with ZERO HVAC or electrician experience. All this was possible through the Bay Area H&C 'quote' of $880.00 (option 1, they called it), and option 2, $1055.00. All this for a 90 min. job by someone with NO EXPERIENCE in this field! The exhaust fan we already had as Vince knew that ahead of time but still charged an insane amount for such a simple job in labor alone. We are no stranger to how Florida companies work, but if you did not not want to do the job, just say so and avoid reviews such as this. Lastly, we just completed full renovations on our house and as a personal recommendation to ALL those reading this post, do NOT EVER do business with ANY company (eg. Bay Area Heating & Cooling Inc.) that charges for a quote. Not only will they be overpriced and of poor quality, but they 'think' you will not do your own research and discover how fraudulent they truly are. My personal thanks to Bay Area Heating & Cooling Inc for showing us just how overpriced you are and how you view potential customers.

This is more for the owners/managers information. I did not have any work completed and my only experience was with the office staff during a phone call. I filled out online contact request. BAHC promptly contacted me before 10:00 am that morning. I spoke to a nice young lady and I attempted to explain my situation with an unsatisfactory result. My situation; I have a 2010, 2.5 ton, 13 SEER, Trane air condition in my 1520 square home. We have installed in efficiency windows and have been told from prior service (with another company) the air ducts are in good condition with additional wrapping. The only issue I have is during July and August when temperatures are at their peak. The system runs all day and the inside temperatures rise to 80 or 81 degrees and will not drop below 77 at best in the evening. I wanted to make an appointment regarding an upgrade to my current system or to get a professional opinion on the quality of my insulation or other more affordable fixes to this issue. I was told someone could come out and give me a price on a new unit or they could send a service technician out for $69. I told her the A/C is working property except during peak summer and did not need service. I did not want to pay for the opportunity to spend several thousand dollars. Something must of been lost in transition here. Although we only purchased the home in 2015 there is a BAHC sticker on the breaker box and I though I would give them another shot. Maybe I can have a manager help me understand the process.

Jason S came out to do a tune up on my system. Jason took his time and explained everything he was doing, he was knowledgable and even logged on to this site for so I could do his review after mine did not work. I have to say that he was polite and courteous with my wife and me. Thank you Wayne Robbins

The person was very knowledgeable and efficient. Also on time, and professional. also their maintenance plan was lower than some other companies. I paid $45 for them to come and check out my system, plus $199 for twice a year maintenance.

They came in and fixed the problem. The system works just perfectly. They came out on time.

It was fine, it was some confusion initially cause they discovered what the problem was but when I told them the description of the service that I called that was listed in Angieslist they called their office to check and then completely the rest of the check of my air conditioner so little confusion in the beginning but it worked out at the end.

They initially over charged me but the manager ending up fixing the price, it was a human mistake that happend.

They were really good. I would use them again.

The technician was punctual, clean and courteous. The work was done in a timely manner. He did not try to sell me on a new a/c, but advised that I needed to start thinking about getting a new, more energy efficient unit, as the current one is starting to deteriorate.

It took them all day. They did everything they said they were going to do. I thought the pricing was a little too high, but I was in a pinch.

I liked that it was free. I am a believer of up keeping new equipment. It was a service they offer, so I took advantage of it. The service was great. I will definitely use them again.

I like them a lot. They did a great job. They were in and out of her in less than a half an hour.

What stuck out was their ability to work with me. They were great! They stayed late to make sure my air conditioner was up and running that day.

Excellent experience, entire team we worked with Shaun (sales) and Tony and Kevin (installers) were very professional and informative. They made the daunting experience of purchasing and replacing our AC unit a less stressful experience. Very happy with our new Trane XR AC system!

All work was completed quickly and professionally. Have used them for 3 years and have never had any issues.

Bay Area Heating & Cooling did an excellent job of servicing our heat pump.
