Description of Work: Replaced distributor cap, ignition rotor, spark plugs and wires, fuel filter and cleaned carb. It went well. They know what they are doing and do not try to upsell you something you do not need. I have an acceleration problem and had taken the car to 2 other places but they could not find what was wrong. Scott and Steve have worked to correct the problem and it is getting better.

 + -1 moreThey are excellent mechanics. Their prices are reasonable. They do excellent work and I never have to go back for the same thing twice. It is always done correctly the first time. I would rather pay a little more because once the job is done, it is done. I use them all the time.
Description of Work: I used Auto Dynamics Of Largo to check over a used car that I bought. They replaced the tie rods and they did a couple of cosmetic things. They aligned it. I regularly go here for oil changes and any other problems.

 + -1 moreWe are very happy we found Auto Dynamics of Largo. We have decided to keep our 2004 car for a few more years. It's nice to know we have an honest and quality minded place to take it when we have problems.
Description of Work: My motor was misfiring and causing the whole vehicle to shake as it went over 35 mph. I searched Angie's list for a mechanic with some good reviews. It is very hard to find an honest and quality minded shop. I was very aprehensive upon making the appointment. However, when I arrived to drop off the car, the staff was very pleasent and accomodating. I was updated through out the day as to the diagnosis. It was discovered I had some bad spark plug wires and afew other things needed to be done as well. I was given a qoute with some different options based on what I wanted to do. I did not feel any sales pitch or pressure to do anything. I approved certain items that needed to be fixed and picked up the car the next day. It has run perfectly since. I will be scheduling appointments in the future to fix the other items noted and recommended to be fixed

 + 0 moreFound this company on Angie's List, made same-day appointment for oil change and look-over, knowing full well that it had been too long since I'd had any service on my 2003 Toyota Matrix. The car was shaking at higher speeds and on braking, so I knew it needed work. The inspection had a couple of surprises, one being that I only needed new front brakes rather than rear also and the rear ones could be serviced without replacing. Couple of other problems, estimates given, options provided for which tire brand for replacement of all four (which I wasn't surprised needed doing), and discussion of what work could wait and what should be done that day. I went ahead and got it all done and my car drives so smoothly now. Explanations were clear, I felt confident in their appraisal and the cost, according to a family member who works on cars out of state, was very reasonable. I'm glad to have found auto service for all my local family's needs.

 + -1 moreAuto repairs are not cheap anywhere. But I know that every dollar I spend with Auto Dynamics is well spent. This is not a fly by night business! They have been going since the 80's and the employees have all been there at least 15 years or more.
Description of Work: I have Auto Dynamics work on all my vehicles and I send my friends to see them for their auto repair issues. You can depend that they will be honest and not try to sell you repairs that are not necessary. They are interested in repeat customers, not a quick buck!

Description of Work: You name it and these guys have done it on our vehicles. We have been going to them since 1998 and we have never, ever had to take the vehicle back for anything not repaired properly. Steve (owner) and Scott and all the mechanics are always professional, personable and explain each detail and cost. If you don't need something done immediately, they let you know. From tires to engine replacement these are by far the most amazing mechanics we have ever seen. The shop is always clean, the office is clean and so are the mechanics. I have referred people to them and never a complaint from anyone. You can call them with a question and they will help you, even if it is simply a price for a part. They have been kind enough to guide us through purchase of a tire when we were out of state, so we knew what to pay. These are the only guys we have allowed to service our vehicles and always will be. They are the best in quality, options and price. They also have our deepest respect, as they always do what they say they will and never try to sell you something you do not need. An OUTSTANDING, TOP NOTCH, PROFESSIONAL GROUP!!

 + -1 moreI like using them because they always get it right the first time and they stand behind their work 100%. Their work is usually very prompt, even major work is in and out in one day. They have done diagnostic work, which I thought would be difficult, but they were quick to correct the problem which was an engine repair. Their prices are slightly higher than average, but they do excellent work the first time around and always get it right. I spent about $200 the last time I used them.
Description of Work: I use Auto Dynamics Of Largo, Inc. for auto service. The last time I used them was probably a month ago and they changed the fluids like the transmission fluid and did a radiator flush and normal maintenance.

 + -1 moreI was overdue for an oil change and was in need of a new headlight. Scott was extremely accommodating with my hectic schedule and managed to get my car in on the same day. I was impressed with the timeliness of his work since my car was ready in less than 45 minutes. When I picked up my car, I inquired about a minor cosmetic repair. Scott offered to call, get a quote and call me back the next day. About 30 minutes later (20 minutes after they closed), Scott called me with the quote and all the necessary details. The professionalism and customer service offered here was off the charts.
Description of Work: Auto dynamics of Largo performed an oil change and replaced a headlight on my 05 Mazda 6.

They have excellent technicians on hand and they just bend backwards to be helpful in a low key way. I have recommended them to many friends. Everyone has become a permanent customer. They deal in American as well as foreign cars.

 + -1 moreThey are very professional, very trustworthy and basically the only issue I have with them is that they are on the upper scale on price but I am happy with what they do so I guess it is worth it to pay a little more to deal with people that are straightforward and trustworthy. I have dealt with them for many years and I am pleased with them. I was impressed with their quality of work. I have had them do quite a bit of work for us.
Description of Work: I use them for auto service. The last time I went was for my rotars to be replaced and my calipers to be replaced.

She developed brake problems and my immediate concern was that a 25 year old female taking the car just anywhere is a target for all kinds of repairs she didn't need (and us paying the bill). So we turned to Angie's List to find a place near where she was staying that would be reliable. That's how we found Auto Dynamics of Largo. I called and explained the situation. They were wonderful on the phone, and I immediately felt like we had chosen the right place. She took the car at 2 o'clock, they found the problem, talked with my husband over the phone, and the car was done by 5 o'clock.
