 + -1 moreOverall, this service treated me with professionalism. That goes a long way toward good will in the community and making sure I will recommend them to others who might need their services.
Description of Work: Had a service call scheduled for 1/13/2011 for $89. an hour quoted. Meanwhile, my husband took the time to call Lexmark as to the computer printer we were having and it turns out all we needed was for Lexmark to download up-dated drivers to make our printer and scanner work again. I Called A Computer Dr. back to cancel their trip and they were most gracious about the cancellation and I would consider them in the future as needed because of their pleasant attitude. I called them to cancel on 1/10/2011.

 + -1 moreI took to Laptop computers to the shop. I was told to call 2 days later to check on the progress of diagnosis and repair. I called several times but was unable to reach anyone for a couple days. When I finally reached someone, they gave me the run around instead of admitting they just hadn't gotten around to looking them. 2 weeks of phone tag games and talking to different people about the same symptoms over and over again left me with 1 machine they couldn't fix and one they couldn't get their act together enough to diagnose. After hearing the exact same excuse as before (this time peppered with IT speak designed to make the problems sound more complex than they were) I hung up the phone and went and picked up my machines. I have since had the mystery problem diagnosed and repaired. The sad part is that these guys seemed very nice but they just couldn't get their act together.
Description of Work: Diagnose issues with 2 laptops. Diagnosed one successfully but was unable to fix. Did not diagnose the 2nd machine.
