Very professional. Arrived promptly. Picked up door for me for installation. Charged a fair price. The work was done very well and with attention to detail. I plan on hiring them again.

I found him on Angie's List and I think that he is a very fine carpenter. I needed the job done in record time, and he was up to the task. He treated me very well.

They were fantastic. They came when they said they would, went right to work and I had no problems with them. They were extremely clean while performing the work, they even vacuumed the closet for me before they left. They were very nice and pleasant people. Their price was quite reasonable. I am going to have them back to do some work for me.

I love this company! I've used John a couple of times now and have been extremely pleased. Whenever the "little projects" build up around the house and my husband just can't get to them in a reasonable amount of time, I call 1st Class Handyman Services. They always answer or return calls promptly, set up estimate visits to accomodate my schedule, schedule the work quickly and complete the work in a timely manner. John is very good about cleanup and his work is outstanding. I will use, and re-use this company. John is my "go to" guy.

Punctual and prompt. His pricing was very reasonable and he was able to fix the door instead of saying he needed a new one.

It was satisfactory work that was done. In most of the cases, I was not here when he was working, so he was very professional and kept to himself most of the time. His work was definitely satisfactory, but I had an immense amount of problems from the woman who answered the phone.

I called John on Monday and he came over two days later to put up my Christmas lights. He also fixed my outside faucet for me because it was leaking. I'd never put up lights before so he was kind enough to explain and show me how to do it in the future. He also told me how to store the lights so they would be easier to put up next year. The price was fair, and I really appreciated the promptness and help he gave me. I've used him before, and I will definitely use him in the future. The lights look great!

He was excellent. I have used him a few times for other various projects. He's very efficient and he knows what he's doing. He's always punctual and I would highly recommend him.

I waited until 9:30 this morning and no one showed up. I called and complained to 1st Class Handyman this morning and she wanted to make excuses. I'm not pleased at all. There's water on the floor. I'm calling another handyman company to come out. I'd never use this company again.

The work was well done and I was pleased. He gave me a price and told me that if he ran in to any problems he would have to charge me more, I didn't notice any issues nor did he mention any but for some reason he did charge me more. Other than that working with him was fine.

Upside was that work performed was affordable, efficiently done, pleasantly executed. Downside involved challenges in scheduling, however, 1st Class promptly kept in good touch until we could agree on appropriate scheduling.

I was very pleased with 1st Class Handyman Services. It was a couple, a husband and wife team. She did the scheduling and all communication as far as when they would arrive and when they would be finished. She also made sure I was aware of any delays that might come up. They did an excellent job of cleaning up and doing what they promised when they promised.

This was a basic repair of exterior rotted fascia wood. They did the job really well and exceeded my expectations.

The original quote was $75 for the first layer of paneling with the understanding that it would be more if I didn't like the 2nd layer. I didn't like it so he only charged $50 more to remove the 2nd layer and patch up holes. He came on time and had his wife call me ahead to let me know he was on his way. The whole job only took a couple of hours and he cleaned up.

John and his wife were both very friendly and professional. They were very punctual and completed the work on time and well. I would definitely use again.

I have nothing but high praises for John Mongeoh (the owner), his assistant Caroline, and his wife Diane. The estimate he gave me was the total amount I paid. They did the work in a timely manner, and left my home immaculate. They hauled away all garbage, even the sawdust from the cut wood. They were always punctual. I was treated respectfully and kept informed about everything I needed done, and they did it expertly.

It was probably the easiest and most pleasant experience we have had in dealing with someone contracted to do work on our home. Diane, his phone assistant returned our call quickly. John showed up on time and gave us an estimate. After a day or so to check on material availability and price, he called and set up a day and time to do the work. They called the day before to confirm what time John would be here. He and an assistant showed up on time and completed the work quickly in just a couple of hours and cleaned up all the areas where they worked. Excellent job! I'm going to hire John to re-screen our porch this summer.

Great - so happy to have found John through Angie's list. With a new home, I have a long list of things to get to, and I will definitely be calling 1st Class Handyman again. John was punctual, courteous, and a pleasure to work with - and FAST! He zipped through all items on the list. I highly recommend.

Every project I hire John/1st Class Handyman to perform is done is a professional and extremely efficient manner. John is reliable and diligent. You cannot have anyone better doing work for you in your home. I trust John completely and recommend him heartily. John continues to do work for me and I couldn't be happier with the services he provides.

John and Diane have been helping me with various items throughout the years. I contact Diane, give her an idea of what I need done, schedule my appointment, John arrives (on time), performs the projects diligently, charges me a fair amount, leaves my home in excellent condition and does a superior job with these projects. I have never had an issue with any work that John has done. Thank you again for everything!

He did not keep the first couple of appointments. He did not initially provide a contract for the work. When he did show up he'd only spend about an hour and ignored things I needed done. He did not do the work to my specifications and he made it impossible to correct issues he created, like installing the wrong doorknob in my kitchen. He installed ceiling panels that fell out over the next couple weeks. There was an electrical situation in the garage, I thought the old lighting needed to come out and new ballast installed. He insisted it just needed new fluorescent bulbs, but in the end the lights were broken and I now need a flashlight in the garage. He left fingerprints all over the doors he installed. He was not careful with my home, several things were broken while he was here. He wanted to stretch the work over months and in the end I still have a lot of work to do.

Good - inspected one item on my "fix list" and let me know he couldn't do it - which I appreciated versus having a wall taken out only to discover that. Always professional.

I CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE TO REINSTALL OUTSIDE LIGHTING FIXTURE. THEY CALLED ME WITH A PRICE OF $35.00 AND I TOLD THEM TO PROCEED WITH THE REPAIR. THEY DID A FINE JOB AND DROPPED THE BILL IN MY MAILBOX, AS NO ONE WAS HOME.

It was a pleasure working with someone who was professional in every sense of the word.
