Description of Work: Horrible experience with these people, estimates kept changing. After 3 different estimates and deposit, they never showed up when promised. I had to call countless times to find out where they were, not once did they call and say they were running late or was needing to reschedule. When they finally came out to do the work they didn't have all the materials needed and was wanting more money. I got my deposit back and the job was canceled.

Description of Work: Installed vinyl panels underneath outside entrance roof. The plaster was peeling and loosening up in places. It looked just beautiful when he was finished. Really enhances the front entrance now.

Description of Work: Called 1st Class Handyman to get an estimate and get some general wall repair work, shelf and mirror hanging, painting, closet door track replacement... as well as several large jobs such as removal of garage glass doors. He came out and I showed him my list and went over it. Several things he does not do so I crossed them off the list. I told him I was in a hurry to get the minor repairs done before I went out of town. He said he would get back to me with an estimate and he left. TWO WEEKS LATER he still had not called with an estimate so I called the company. His wife said she did not know why he had not called but would make sure he did and that if he did the job, he would get it done before I left town. Two days later I finally got an estimate. He agreed to do the 1st 9 items on the list (all minor repairs) for $600. I thought that was quite high but agreed since she said he would do it before I left as agreed upon. She scheduled it for July 6th at 9 am before I left on the 8th. I got no call on July 5th to remind me of the visit. Today is July 6th. I just called at 9:15 am to make sure he was coming because I had not heard from him. I was up and in the house since 7am. His wife told me that he had already come at 8:30 am and knocked on the door and I did not answer. I have a big house so it is possible that I might not have heard him knock but I have 2 phones which he did not call to see why I did not answer the door. His wife told me she called me but got the wrong number and said she would have to reschedule. Because I was going to be out of town and only agreed to pay the high charge because they assured me he would do it before I left, I could not see why he could not come back when I called 15 minutes after the appointment time. I was very disappointed and did not reschedule with him and would therefore not use him in the future. This is the first time I have ever given a service person a bad review but I feel in this case it is very well deserved. If he did not want to do the work, he should have told me that when I first got the estimate.
