He was punctual. His wife handles the phone side and she was very pleasant and follows up promptly. He asks questions prior to coming out so he could have everything he needed when he arrived. He is extremely professional and I would definitely use him again.

Excellent. John is very professional and works quickly. Initially, we wanted a drip system, but due to the combination of the zones which have sprinklers, he stated that we would not due the drip system. He was very honest in stating that the job would be much too expensive for him to do this work as it involved changes under the driveway and sidewalk to make drip systems. Our sprinkler system was put in by the builder and of course they did the easiest cheapest way of installing sprinkler lines of which there is nothing one can do with it without spending a fortune. John's honesty was very much appreciated as to the substantial cost in changing from regular sprinklers to a drip system. We have decided to forget about a drip system.

This is a company that I would highly recommend to anyone. John knows his profession very well. His wife CJ always touched base and called back promptly. John was always prompt. He was very efficient in his work. I have used other companies in the past and AJ Irrigation is head and shoulders above the rest.

Both John and his wife were very friendly and professional. My call was returned in less than two days and they offered to put me on "stand-by" for the same day (Thursday) since I would be home all day. John's previously scheduled all-day job took most of the day and while he could have come over it was suggested that if we weren't in a dire situation he could come the following Tuesday and I would get his full service rather than a quick fix. I appreciated the honesty and decided to wait. I had an unexpected situation Monday afternoon and called to reschedule. She was very nice and set me up for later the same Tuesday so I could make a morning appointment and John was right on time, if not early. He charges by the hour and I was glad I took their advice and had him go over our whole system with me rather than get the quick fix. (And he is quick). He did all the work and "teaching" in an hour. We don't like hiring work done but this was a good choice for us.

John returned my call a day after I left the message, but was prompt in scheduling a visit after that. He went to the property even though I needed to remain at work. He repaired the defective items, then called me to explain exactly what he had found and the service work that he had done.

They were superb. I will use them forever. I have never had my system so completely checked out and have never been so satisfied with a lawn irrigation company. I have nothing but praise for them. We have a very large yard with 8 zones on the watering system.

He was prompt and skilled at repairing the damage to my pump installation. I continued to have a strange noise in the pump itself. He made another service call at no charge to be sure it was not related to the work he had done. He figured out what was wrong spent a lot of time with me and coming up with ideas on how to live with it. (The pump, installed in 2004, had been run with the water outlet shut off. It had overheated and the impellers were warped but still functional.) He went way above and beyond what was expected.

Stan came out and told me not to worry, let's just take one problem at a time. Well, we have about an acre so Stan turned on the sprinklers and walked everywhere marking where they were. Then zone by zone started to figure out what the neighbor did. I could see by the look on his face that he felt sorry for me. He explained everything to me, mapped out where everything was and marked what needed to be redone. He was there at least 1 1/2 hours taking his time explaining everything. He told me it would take a full day. The following week he came back right on time and fixed everything. He has such a great attitude. The moral: ALWAYS USE ANGIE'S LIST.

The representative came about one hour late and claimed there was an error in communication on their end. All the work was done professionally and the system was tested prior to leaving.

He found that some stations were not working. When I mentioned to him a tree had been planted in the property, he carefully dug around the tree and found that they had hit one of the cables. He fixed everything and did a wonderful job overall. He showed up on time!

They were great! They came out to put in the outdoor faucet, and it was very reasonable. They came out the second time to repair the leak, and were very courteous. He even gave me a diagram of where the leak was to show to the city and get our water bill lowered. I would give them an A+ if possible!

He is very good and responsive. The sprinkler repair was $100 and $500 to hook up the unclaimed water.

I had one head that was not operating properly, which is why I called. The technician said if I change it so it doesn't spray into the street, then the grass won't get the water it needs, everything else he did was fine. A J came back out to make the adjustments I requested. I am happy with the services provided.

Estimate was provided as requested. Work was scheduled and completed as agreed. John Harper, owner, did excellent job of planning out location of new sprinkler heads, relocating existing heads and pipes and changing sprinkler heads to improve water flow. He did the work himself, on time and according to his original estimate. Could not be more pleased with entire experience.

Very happy with the service. Can't recall the technician's name or whether he was the owner but he was very pleasant and easy to deal with. The work done was excellent and at a very good price. I will use this company again in the future.
