POLSON PAINTING

My expectations were exceeded with Polson painting. Great company and employees. I appreciated the update calls about how things were going as I was working 10 hour days and unable to be at home except for the final day. I appreciated that on the final day they were prepared and ready for me to walk the house and point out any desired remaining touch-ups (which there were very few). I am very happy that I trusted Polson's great Angie's list ratings and went with his company.

Could not have asked for more.

I waited for 2 hours and they never showed up. I never heard from them.

This company and it's employers were very efficient and professional. Their work was impeccable. They placed a nice heavy coat of paint on the house compared to what we had. When they came and pressure washed our home, some areas lost all of the paint because it was on so thin. We are very pleased with the colors and how our home looks. They cleaned everything from the yard and before they left we were asked if we were happy with the job and the clean up.

They did a great job. They did this work several years ago. I actually looked them up to refer them to a friend

Crew arrived on time with each member doing a different job- some taping, some prepping etc. Did an excellent job- moved furniture- careful cleanup and high grade paint used. Completed the entire job in one day- very pleased.

In addition to Angie's list, Polson was recommended by several homeowners in our neighborhood. It is clear why! They arrived when they said they would, were highly professional and efficient, and the end product was great. I would use again without hesitation.

I honestly don't know how this company has an A rating. The start date came and went with no one ever contacting me. Finally I got hold of someone and set up a date. Yes, it had been raining but they should have called. Only once did I ever get a person on the line when I called. Otherwise they called back the next day. The house painting itself was fine and I haven't noticed any paint on windows, but they failed abysmally in the details. No one came back to inspect the house with us and see if we were happy. I had to call and list the things that had not been done: none of the nails were removed from the house, four plants had been completely destroyed in the front garden, 2 of 3 hoses were left sprawled on the ground, the front foyer and walk was not painted, 6 nails were left in the driveway outside the garage. We have a bench brush hanging on the back porch to brush the dogs' feet in the mornings. We couldn't find it anywhere. Well, it seems that when they painted the front walk, they helped themselves to our brush then just threw it in the bushes. Nice touch. I wish we had paid a little more for our other estiimate company. This was painful.

I called Don Polson Painting.We set a time for him to come out on the 8/22/12. Don called me to tell me he was running late due to traffic,but would be at our house in 15 minutes. A half hour went and he showed up. I explained that I needed to have six rooms painted. four of them I needed popcorn removed also remove wallpaper. He looked around and was writing things down, but never measured anything.He told me he would have the estimate down within two days.Well it's now Saturday and no e-mails or calls. I don't know anyone who comes out to give an estimate on a job without measuring. He was a real nice guy, but he isn't for us.

We could not be happier with the job they did for us.The crew arrived on time every day.They were hard working and professional,very respectful of me and our home.Most important....they are very good at what they do! We plan to use them again in the next few months and would not hesitate to recommend Polson Painting.

I am extremely pleased with their work. They communicated well with me. They covered my windows and everything with plastic. They also caulked everything as needed. My home is beautiful.

Since we live in a deed restricted community, we are required to submit colors in advance of painting. Don painted a section of the body color on our house so we could get the color approved. Once the colors were approved we contacted Don to get on the schedule. We were told it would be the week of June 4 which was about 4 weeks away. We were fine with the schedule as we didn't have any type of deadline. On June 4th, the pressure washing was done. Unfortunately, the remainder of that week was rain every day, so we knew there wouldn't be any painting that week. Don called on Tuesday (6/12) and said he was very sorry the schedule had been pushed back but his crew would be there around 10:30. The first two guys arrived as promised and began taping off all the windows and outside fixtures, speakers. Before I knew it, they were painting and then a 3rd guy came to ask about the door color. I gave him the sample color and he came back and painted the door. At 6:30 that night, they were completely done with painting and clean up. On the 13th, Don called and said he would be there to go over the painting and his guys would do any touch ups needed and get the rest of their equipment. They finished the touch ups, cleaned up and left. Everything was put back in place and the trash was neatly bagged to put by the street for pickup. We were very happy and can't believe how much difference it makes.

the job went very smoothly and my house looks great both inside and out.

It went very well. They showed up when they were supposed to and did a good job on the entire house. There was a problem with the door color and the owner was very responsive and sent someone over the next day to get it corrected. He came by personally when done to walk through everything and make sure I was satisfied. Would definitely use them again.

Same as the above. What a bad experience. I guess he has too much business.

Don Polson responded to my request for a quote on Angie's List within 24 hours. He stopped off at my house the next day and left a quote. His quote was by far the least expensive and included the exact same paint and list of services quoted by others. It took a few weeks before his crew could start the work but once onsite they were fast and did excellent work. I would definetly use Polson Painting again.

My experience with them was good. They have good service. I had them come back several times for touch-ups. Each time, they responded promptly.

We really liked them. Ron Polson is the owner and he was good. They were very professional and very detail oriented. They went above and beyond even what they were hired to do. They took off the metal hardware on the garage door and light fixtures and painted those. We never asked them for any of that to be done and it wasn't part of what they were supposed to do. They got their own paint for it; it was nice.

Overall experience was good. The project was delayed a bit because they were held up on another job and they didn't show one day because of the other job. The pressure washing went well. The paint crew of 4 guys showed up on Saturday and knocked the whole job out in a day. They didn't waste their time and were here from about 10am until about 7pm. They did have a small mishap with the paint sprayer which sprayed white paint all over my newly resurfaced (textured) driveway and my neighbors driveway. They tried to clean with water and broom the best they could but still some spots remained. They showed up the next day with a pressure washer to remove any remaining spilled paint. They didn't speak english very well but we got by. Don came by the following week to ensure all was completed and i was satisfied. I would recommend them.

We were very pleased with the service. We had just purchased the home and our movers informed us that they were coming early. We had gotten several quotes in about the same range. However, Polson had a team available who could complete the work in the time frame we needed. They offered us the Angie's list discount so in the end, their price was a tad lower then the others (but in the same ballpark). A few companies were higher and a few a tad lower. They arrived right on time, early actually, and got to work immediately. They were very meticulous about taping and covering everything and removed all the air vents. There were some delays as we ended up changing a few of our color choices. My only "complaint" would be that we would have liked a bit more color consultation advice but then again, they did the work the day after we called to be done in time for the movers so it wasn't really their fault. The team that came was very nice and professional and we actuall kind of missed them as we were used to having a crew in our home for 3 days. I have to say that the project manager was super attentive, professional and accomodating. He deserves an award for diplomacy! He must have been completely annoyed when we decided to change the color after he had almost painted the entire room but he never let it show.

Our house was do for a paint job. The exterior paint was 10 years old and was the original paint put on by the builder. This was our first time having an exterior of a house painted and Don Polson did a great job leading us through the process. He was upfront with us through the whole process from estimate to completion. He went out of his way to paint several of our color choices on the house so that we could get a better look at the color. This was really nice because it's hard to determine true color based on swatches. The process took about three days from the time his team started with pressure washing till the time they finished painting. His whole team was courteous throughout and was open to our ideas. It was a pleasure working with Don and we look forward to working with him in the future.

Our house looks amazing and we have received so many compliments since having it painted. We were very impressed with the crew that Polson sent out. They were polite, took their time, and had incredible attention to detail. They even postponed the job one day because it was a little misty outside and they felt like it could potentially impact their work negatively. We are considering purchasing a new home and if it needs to be painted we will definitely be using Polson.

Upon contact with Polson Painting I left a message to which I received a return phone call within 24 hours. I spoke with Ron Silverman (who acted as our sales person and project manager) arranged date and time for him to come out, review our project needs and provide a quote. He was prompt, friendly, very professional, asked plenty of the appropriate questions then provided us with detailed quote just as I requested. I received the quote from him via email with 72 hours of meeting with him, which was acceptable to me since I was not in a rush. I have the feeling that if I would have said I needed it sooner he would have been happy to oblige. Over all, they were not the least expensive company, but their price was comparable to others and I felt like I would receive a higher level of service versus their competitors. We had some delay in between making the decision and actually having the work done. Totally our issue not Polson's!! Ron was very patient, not pushy and was very accommodating. He came out and put a set of sample colors on the exterior of our home then he was beyond patient sitting back for almost a month waiting for me to finalize my color choice. When checking in with me about the exterior, he offered suggestions to help in making the decision and was more than willing to assist where appropriate. When the crew came to pressure wash, they came to the door introduced themselves and confirmed that we were okay with them getting started. The crew pressure washed, they were in & out and other than the very clean house exterior you never would have know they were here. They returned the next day to paint and again it was a breeze! They were courteous, punctual, quiet and seemed very comfortable with what they were doing. When painting the back of our house I told them not to worry about dripping paint on the patio (we are having it redone anyway) and his response was that he would be careful anyway because it would not be okay to make a mess. It took them two days to complete the exterior. The day of pressure washing and both days of painting Ron called to make sure that everything was being done to our satisfaction. Upon completion of the exterior, Ron came to the house to make sure we were happy with the results. Ron returned about a week later to apply sample swatches of our interior color choices. Again he was prompt, courteous and came armed to answer any questions that we had. Our interior was done next and I was astonished by how quickly they were able to complete it. One day...and other than the moved furniture, you would not have known they were here...again, quiet, clean, polite and very professional. Again, Ron followed up during the day then the next morning scheduling a time for the painter to come back an do a few touch ups and for him to come and make sure that there were no other concerns on our part. Ron was very patient and accommodating with some last minute changes on my part. I will be having them come back out to paint the master bedroom and the kids bathroom, something tells me that I have nothing to worry about and that we are in very good hands!!!
