MOW'N BY BOWEN LANDSCAPE AND LAWN CARE INC.

I've been using this company for over 5 years now. They have been OK. Not outstanding, but they come when expected, cut the lawn, trim the shrubs and leave. For 95.00 a month for an average sized lot, it seemed a bit pricey to me, but they were reliable. Things have changed recently, and I'm not sure what, however now no one answers the phone, it goes directly to voicemail. They have an online portal for customers where special services can be requested, you can see your bill, etc. Ever since they introduced that portal, I've not received a "bill" by email, so I've missed a payment, and of course, there's fees. That's gripe #1. If you are going to change a system I've been used to for 5 years, let me know so I can make adjustments. Secondly, they've lopped off two sprinkler heads and bashed in the side of my house. I was able to fix one sprinkler myself, however the other needs to be replaced and they should do it. I opened up an online ticket, they acknowledged a week later that they would send a team out to fix the issue, and now two weeks, one reminder email and two phone calls later, no one has fixed it and no one returns my calls. It's been very dry here the past two weeks and now I can't water that area and it's dying. So maybe now I have to replace some lawn if they don't come soon. I have no clue when they'll come because as I said earlier, no one answers the phone and no one returns my emails or calls. As far as the side of the house goes, they gouged out the stucco with the lawnmower and tried to patch it up (badly) themselves with paint they must have had on hand. Needless to say, I would have recommended them 5 years ago, however now it seems their office staff have disappeared down a hole, so just be aware that once you are a customer, service goes out the window

It went as agreed except there wasn't enough mulch added to the side beds.

Never on time, missed scheduled days often. Very high prices do to work being completed.

Not very good. They are not consistent and my lawn got bugs.

Had service for a few months. Owner sells his company very well however his employees work the system. They sit in front of your house due to gps tracker for 20 min+ then spend 10 or less on yard and not very good at that. When problems were addressed owner is aggressive and in denial. Do not recommend. If you currently have them I suggest you watch them one day to assess service.

Poorly. We up to this week had the house rented out and just moved back in. The sod we paid him $1700 for has been left to having weeds take over. When asked why not reported to me he said that was responsibility of lawn pest control which he was supposed to be doing. We also dicovered the back yard was close to a foot tall and hadn't been mowed in at least 2-3 weeks.

They were good, but didn't care about my property. Over the past few months their workers were careless and left my fence/gate open and my dogs were released into the neighborhood when we didn't see that the gate on the side of the house was open. Their work was good consistently. But it has now happened five times in this past half year. I called once and Roxanne assured me it wouldn't happen again. I emailed May 2nd to say it happened again and Roxanne said she would let "the crew and Chris" know and they were sorry. When it happened this Friday and I spent three hours looking for my dogs, that was it. I can find someone else who is good also. What a shame they placed saving time over quality of customer care.

Very happy with the new landscaping! Chris provided a detailed landscape plan and the yard looks great! Already getting compliments from neighbors. Also use Mow'n by Bowen to cut grass weekly. Highly recommend!

Their cost is competitive and we are pleased with the landscape work and maintenance. Chris and the office staff are responsive to inquiries.

Chris and his crew did a terrific job. They gave me a great estimate and completed the job on time. Will definitely hire them again and will refer their services.

Mown' by Bowen has bee professional, punctual and very reliable. The price is on par with my previous service, but I get so much more. Each week they do a little extra on top of the standard mowing, blowing, edging and weed whacking. The hedges are trimmed and palms fronds are removed. They are fast and come every week during the summer.

I called Friday and Chris said he will pass by my house in 30 minutes and call me back for an estimate. He never called. I called Tuesday for the estimate. Roxanne picked up and said she will call Chis and ask him and call me right back. I never received a call in return. I called twice and i never got a phone call in return. I finally gave up and went with someone else.

I was looking for a lawn care company to start taking care of my property. I had been doing it myself for years, but we had moved and were planning on renting out the home, so needed someone who could provide full service, not just lawn cutting. Chris came by and gave me a quote, discussed the type of services he provided, which included all tree trimming, weed control, even sod replacement. He looked over the property, and gave me an idea of what his team would do, gave me a quote. I did receive a second quote from another company, and while the quote was less than Chris, I got the impression that he was thinking I'd go strictly on price, not on level of services, and when I advised him what the other quote involved, he said "oh, yeah, we'll do that". I felt Chris was more professional, he had many other customers in the area, knew my community and the HOA regulations etc Chris and team started on Friday, they did clean up the trees, shrubs, lawn looked great, they hauled away all of the cuttings, etc. Very happy so far, properly looks fantastic.

They did an outstanding job. All was performed as Chris and I had agreed. Very convenient and professional.

My wife and I interviewed a number of landscapers and we chose Chris because he provided a (more than) fair price and more importantly he listened CAREFULLY to what the requirements of the job were. This was confirmed when he provided a illustrated landscape design that near exactly matched what was conveyed, by my wife and I, to the Chris during the time he spent estimating the job. Chris and his crew arrived on time and spent 6 hours delivering 100% of what we asked for and was detailed in the estimate. He and his employees are polite and efficient. The actual quality of the work is a little more than we expected because the weeding and clean-up was a formidable task but upon completion our property has never looked better. Chris can also provide knowledgeable advise on design and associated plant types if required. We will use Chris again in the future and can, with no qualifications or reservations, recommend his service.

They do good and the workers are good too. They are very prompt. They did an excellent job.

I use them every month. I have a contract with them. They have excellent service, courteous and pay attention to detail. They take pride in their work and very obvious.

I have been using various lawn care companies for the past 20 years. They are all the same. They all promise the world (like weeding, trimming, etc) and when they come they just mow the lawn and edge the driveway. This is not the case with Bowen. I am so shocked by the amount of work these guys do that I just had to leave a comment. Every time they visit they are leaving with bags of debris from trimming and clearing that they have done to my yard. I think they may spend more time weeding and trimming then they actually do on the mower itself. I am so impressed with the amount of service they provide each visit that I just had to leave a positive review. Call these guys and never do your own lawn work again.

Mowing and lawn care with landscaping has been excellent and timely. He is presently resodding and providing more much around the landscaping which will provide a very nice package.

My last lawn service provider was no longer weeding. After the first visit by Bowen's team, everything looked clean and well trimmed. I was very happy. They come like clock-work every week...very dependable.

Wonderful company. Chris was out the same day of my inquiry about their service to give me an estimate. Very professional and reasonable prices! They come out twice a month during the summer and once a month in Winter. The staff are very friendly and the work on the property is amazing. Very organized company from their staff to billing. I am a very happy customer and would refer them to friends.

The provider mowed and trimmed the grass. They are fast but a little costly for the time they spend on the yard.

2014.......I tried 3 other service companies before Bowen. All three were crap! Excuses...Half done work .....When they did show up the work was poor to say the least. Mowen by Bowen is the best landscape company I've had yet. Professional, courteous, on time, work is very thorough and looks great when they are done. Extremely satisfied with all their work and I'll look to have them do some improvements and additional work this winter.

I was impressed with them. They were professional and came when they said the would. I only seem the twice.(g00d job so far). The owner told me to call if I have ay problems. I have a month to month contract.
