They came out and they did some work on it. I was still having problems with it and my refrigerator wasn’t making making ice and wasn't cooling as it should. I called on a Saturday and they wouldn't come out until Monday. After I called them on Monday, they refused to return my calls and never responded to my request. I had to call someone else to fix it. I will never use them again.
Description of Work: They repaired a refrigerator. The brand is a Maytag.

I had called and visited the store with the model number of the range, and Mr. Bidarian ordered the correct switch by the model number. No service call was required for this. When the part got in, the service call was scheduled. The technician was prompt and efficient, replacing the knob in less than ten minutes. It required the removal of four screws on the front of the range. A really simple repair. While the tech was at the house, I asked him to look at the washing machine which would not spin correctly. He did this, taking about another ten minutes. He told me that they would have to order parts to repair it. I was charged about the right price for the range part. As I expected, it was a little more than I could have ordered it online, and the range is working. The $90 repair charge for the range switch was excessive in my mind for such a simple repair. I was also charged a service call for asking the tech look at the washing machine. I visited the store later that afternoon and politely expressed my dissatisfaction over the repair charge. I told Mr. Bidarian not to order the parts for the washer, that I would not need him for the washer repair. I was then told that he "no longer needs my business". He will not see me again. I will repair the washer myself using the RepairClinic.com video and parts ordered from them.
Description of Work: Replaced a switch on the kitchen range that had the shaft/knob broken off by our mover.

I called LG and told them about McFarlane wanting money from us to provide a second man to come and replace the lock. LG apologized and told me they should have hired the man and paid for his services themselves. I told LG to NEVER send this company to my house. They referred me to another local appliance repair company who are VERY good and I just spoke with them. They are going to contact LG and come and replace the lock. The other tech told me that the dryer does not even have to be removed to replace the lock.
Description of Work: I have an LG Washing Machine which is under warranty and it is leaking at the door. LG sent this company out and the technician determined that the door lock is not properly working and said he will get the part and return today. He asked if my husband would be home when he came to help him remove the LG Dryer on top of the Washer and I told him he would be working and only I could help him. This morning he called and told me they would be here today and since no one would be there to help them remove the dryer they would be bringing a second man but we would have to pay for him. I told him this was LG's problem and not my problem and that I would NOT pay for a second person. He told me rudely that it was NOT LG's problem but MY problem. I told him I would contact LG, to cancel the service call and I hung up. (I DO NOT HAVE STUPID PRINTED ON MY FOREHEAD)

THEY CAME ON TIME AND EXPLAINED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND GAVE ME HINTS FOR MAINTENANCE TO PREVENT A SIMILAR PROBLEM. SERVICE CALL WAS $35 FOR THE 1ST APPLIANCE AND $20 FOR THE 2ND. $20 TO CALIBRATE THE OVEN AND $20 TO REMOVE THE FAULTY UNUSED ICE MAKER AND CLEAN THE BOTTOM OF THE FRIG. I GIVE THEM A B ON PRICE ONLY BECAUSE I DON'T THINK THEY SHOULD CHARGE $20 FOR THE 2ND APPLIANCE WHEN THEY WERE ALREADY THERE. BUT I HAVE NOTHING TO COMPARE IT TO SO THAT MAY BE OK.
