Description of Work: 1 day! That is all it took. The crew arrived at 7am and worked solidly through the day. After it was done, they went around the house and picked up all debry that did not land on the tarp they had placed on the ground. The roof looks great. I could not be happier.

+ -1 moreThey removed the existing roof and hauled the debris away, and then installed the new roof that we picked out. They worked very hard and they did a great job on the roof. They were punctual and finished the same day. We have nothing negative to say. We were very happy with how they took care of cleaning and installing and we would use this company again.
Description of Work: We hired them to put on a new roof after the hurricane of 2005.

+ -1 morePunctual and courteous service by Robert Flores, whether it was for the initial estimate for our leaky roof/skylight, or a few days later when starting and completing the job in less than 1/2 day. Robert explained everything to us in detail, gave us options, and even showed us items that were removed and replaced. Punctual, fast, and fair service with guarantee. Definitely recommendable for this small team. Robert even reminded us of the 5% coupon for Angie's List members and automatically deducted it from the final price.
Description of Work: Replaced broken tile & reseal tile where it was removed. Reseal around skylights using 100% silicone. Repair tear in under-layment using roof cement and mibrain. Build up around the back of fireplace vent using tar so water will not stand. Reseal all lead boots and vent piles. Clean job and remove all debris. Leave job clean.

+ -1 moreI contacted Robert Flores with Certified Roofing to repair a leaking metal roof. He was very nice and his crew was also hard working. The problem was, after 3 attempts, the leaking roof is still leaking. After 3 weeks of calls, I have yet to hear a respose, I am unsure if they are still in business. It's unfortunate, initially the company was very attentive and responsive to fixing the problem.
Description of Work: Cool Seal roof, additional fasteners and screws added, repair and fix leak (never fixed after repeated attempts)

+ -1 moreReturned call promptly. Did work 2 days after I hired them. Job looks good. When they gave an estimate they covered up the holes temporarily with shingles they had with them. They pointed out a missing lead boot that we were unaware of. I am very pleased with their performance.
Description of Work: Repaired holes in roof due to a tree falling. Removed damaged gutter and tree limbs. Put in lead boot where missing. Replaced 4' facia.

+ -1 moreRobert came out the day I called, looked at problem areas and gave a written sales contract. He said it would take 3-4 hours (2-3 crew members) to repair it. They came out the next day and worked 5 1/2 hours then came back the next morning for 2 more hours. The reason it took them much longer was because of unforeseen problems, plus they painted the soffit, eve and base of chimney. EVEN THOUGH THE JOB TOOK MUCH LONGER, THEY HONORED THE CONTRACT AND DID NOT CHARGE ABOVE THE PRICE QUOTED! THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL AND HAD EXCELLENT TEAMWORK! They cleaned up the site completely, making sure I was satisfied. I doubt very much that I'll need to look any further for any roofing or woodworking projects.
Description of Work: PROBLEM #1 INCLUDED A LEAK ON THE PORCH ROOF WHERE FLAT ROOF WAS INCORRECTLY TIED INTO EXISTING ROOF. THE ACTION TAKEN INCLUDED PLACING 1x6x10 OF FLASHING, AND THEY CAULKED THE TOP AND BOTTM THEN SEALED IT WITH MEMBRANE COVERING FLASHING. PROBLEM #2 INCLUDED ROTTED WOOD SOFFIT ON THE PORCH DUE TO THE LEAK. THE ACTION TAKEN FOR THIS PROBLEM INCLUDED REPLACING THE WOOD WITH VINYL. PROBLEM #3 INCLUDED MISSING AND ROTTED SOFFIT/FACIA ON THE UTILITY ROOM. FOR THIS PROBLEM, THEY REPLACED A PIECE OF DAMAGED PLYWOOD ROOF THEN REPAIRED THE SOFFIT/EVE. THE LAST PROBLEM INCLUDED ALUMINUM/ROOF TAR EXPOSURE AROUND THE BASE OF THE CHIMMNEY. FOR THIS PROBLEM, THEY CUT AND FRAMED THE BASE OF THE CHIMNEY AND ADDED MOLDING FOR A BETTER LOOK.
