Probably the best experience we've had with a contractor. Highly knowledgeable, prompt service and full of great suggestions and tips. We needed new floors and drywall after water damage. Most contractors never replied or were not able to understand what work was required. Dean and Suzanne came out in person, were a pleasure to work with and their team were prompt, very clean and highly professional, all at a very fair price.

Update: We are fortunate to have been able to move on to Project #5 just recently in May 2022: Master bath remodel. We went from old, outdated and worn out to a gleaming and beautiful new space. They did a LOT of work demolishing and shoring up the underlying structures and waterproofing before they even started installing the new stuff. Our new bathroom is gorgeous!! We've had Dean and his crew out several times to work on our home. Our hope was to find a family-run local business that we could trust with all of of remodeling and home improvement projects. We couldn't be any happier. Dean and his crew have worked at our home both while we've been there and have been away. I have complete trust even when they are alone with our pets - the most important thing in our home! Dean has been at our house for work at three different times and will be back soon for our 4th project. His wife Suzanne is the office manager and she has answered so many questions about the projects and has helped me pick things out - she's meticulous with the details and tireless. Project #1 in 2017 - Brand new LV floors throughout the house and complete interior painting. Five stars! Perfect experience! Project #2 in 2018- Total kitchen remodel, including many special requests like awesome organizers in the kitchen. He also took care of a couple household needs while there - hung a gallery wall of 6 prints (and it looks SO good) and installed an extra shelf in our laundry room to hold our laundry basket. Five stars! Above and beyond! Our kitchen is beautiful. Project #3 in 2020 - Repaired/replaced the damaged patio roof and hung a ceiling fan. Five stars! This one was a boring but necessary upgrade, and done perfectly. Project #4 in 2021 - (materials already ordered) - will replace the sliding back door with a hurricane resistant one, will replace both the front door and the rotting door frame, and fix the garage ceiling that has some water damage. Five stars so far and I'm sure it'll be another wonderful job by the Alfonsi crew.

Thorough, honest, fair, very easy to work with and more importantly — excellent service!! Unexpectedly I found myself in a position that required immediate attention: water damage. I discovered a hole in my roof hidden, in a very concealed spot that must have been there for many years, allowing all the rain here in Florida to pour in to my master bathroom walls. Eventually my walls, and the wood that supported them, literally crumbled at my fingertips and it didn't end there. My whole master bathroom needed to be replaced and it was way more damage than I could manage. I called multiple renovation companies and subcontractors and realized I was in over my head. Most companies wouldn't return my phone calls, were overly priced, under priced looking to recapture more money on the tail end of the job, unorganized, lazy, or had no attention to detail. The worst ones acted as if they were the bees knees. I didn't know what to do, I didn't know who I could trust. So, I started to ask around and someone gave me a name; Alfonsi Construction. They told me to call this company and everything would be taken care of. So I did. Their value proposition was not only in their integrity, temperance, modesty, patience, simplicity, accountability, thoroughness and quality of work, but also their ability to manage such a complex project. That's huge! There were plumbers, tile specialists, framers, roofers, cabinetry specialists, delivery management, and the list goes on and on — but it was all super smooth, not to mention they kept me informed every step of the way. From the first phone call to Alfonsi Construction to the last handshake, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was taken care of. Punctual: every single day. Communication: every step of the way. Accountability: every single contractor that came through to work on this project was held to their standards. I could not be more grateful. They were so on top of their game that they would clean the job-site up when they showed up and they cleaned the job site up when they left. They would literally sweep my sidewalk before walking inside my house! Every person I had contact with was polite, honest, and helpful. They spearheaded this job with 100% accuracy. I am 100% satisfied!! I trust them 100% without a doubt. Susan, Ed, and Dean, thank you for your beautiful work and exceptional service. Alfonsi Construction was very timely in providing an estimate (included a Angie's list discount) and was one of 4 estimates I received. During the time I was making a decision of which Contactor to do the work, Dean called and offered an additional discount. He was willing to work around a couple of appointments I had and completed the work in the time frame he had estimated. Each day they put down drop cloths through the house to keep the traffic area clean. They built a closet which was seamless. It looked like it was always there. He was able to get doors that matched the rest of the house. Dean removed the arch and put in an oversized door as requested. They put up plastic barriers to keep down dust and debris. They spray painted the popcorn ceiling, matched the texture on the walls, repaired spots and painted all trim and walls. They even cut out and hauled away the old carpet.

The demolition of the bathroom and fireplace was handled in an extraordinarily neat and orderly way. Plastic was put up to section off the house and keep the dust down, and at the end of every day Billy vacuumed the entire area. Because of the way Dean and Billy resurfaced the area above and around the fireplace, it is very easy to see where we are getting water in.... and (after the leak is fixed) rebuilding a new fireplace will be their next job with me! The new wall section in the dining room is a perfect match to the existing knock-down texture on the rest of the wall, the beam looks like it was always there, ....and my new bathroom is simply gorgeous in spite of one problem. Since I was on a very tight schedule, Dean hired a sub-contractor to do the tile work in the bathroom while he did the demolition of the fireplace. In the end, the tile work was not up to my expectations, nor to the standards of Alfonsi Construction. Dean had the tile guy come back to review what was done, and it was agreed that corrections will be made. Alfonsi Construction stands behind everything they do, and I know they will make it right. If I had not been on such a tight schedule, Dean and Billy would have done the tile work ....and I know, based on everything else they did, that then it would have been perfect. The electrician and plumber were also subcontracted out, and they did an excellent job. Alfonsi Construction went above and beyond all expectations. They arrived on time (or even a little early) everyday and worked until they finished what needed to get done. At the end of each day, Dean would walk me through what was accomplished, and what the plan of action would be for the next day. On top of all of this, Dean and Billy are two of the most personable tradesmen I've ever hired. It's not possible to overstate how important it is to have pleasant contractors who obviously enjoy their work come to your home and do a job as you envisioned it. I highly recommend Alfonsi Construction, and will be using them again in the future.

I purchased a BIG DEAL through Angie's List because I wanted our master bedroom painted. I also wanted them to perform two minor dry wall repairs. Dean Alfonsi and his helper arrived on time. They did the repairs and painted the walls and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and the room was beautiful when they left. They were magicians because you could not even tell where they had done the repairs which had been very noticeable. It was a good experience.

The job went very well, Dean was always ready and waiting for us! The job site was always CLEAN They did not borrow tools He seemed to be ready or us The was job was completed early and I love it.

I can't say enough good things about Alfonsi Construction... they truly care about what they do and you can see it in their finished work. I am so glad that I found them on Angie's List and will definitely use them for our next remodeling project.

They were the first people to come out and give a quote. They came out, looked at the work, and said that they could have it set up to be done by another company. I suppose I would not use them not because of anything but that it was not in the budget.

It was a good experience. He provided a free quote, he did what he said he would do, and he did the work in a timely fashion.

Refused to come out to give me an estimate. told me over the phone that they would not do any job for less than $800.

Every thing went fine and the bedroom, family room, 2 bathrooms, guest rooms, and halls are beautiful! I have several more rooms to do, and I won't call any one else.

He did a FANTASTIC JOB!! They were on time every morning and cleaned up neatly every day. They asked if they could store the supplies nightly in our garage and it was neat and organized each time. They were extremely professional and the outcome of the work is beautful. You never knew they were here and I'm more than delighted with the end result. I'm actually going to hire him again and recommend him highly.
