Dean did an excellent job! He arrived on time and worked tirelessly (I couldn't even get him to eat lunch!). He did a great job - measuring and installing drapery rods exactly as I wanted them, assembling storage shelving for my pantry and laundry room, put in a towel rack holder, etc. He did a great job on every task and even cleaned up after himself! I HIGHLY recommend his services.

Based on reviews from Angie's List, I contacted Dean Alfonsi of Alfonsi Construction LLC to replace the side exit door to our garage along with the trim. I contacted Dean for details on what was needed. He provided complete information on materials and that the work would require a permit. We arranged a date for installation. Mr. Alfonsi arrived on time (8:00 AM) and promptly began working. He and his assistant removed the old, damaged door and trim. The new door was mounted and trimmed out and the door handle and lock were installed. The entire job took around 3 hours to complete. They even bundled the debris and cut the old door into two pieces to facilitate disposal. The area was left so clean that you would never know that the door had been replaced. I was extremely pleased with the job that was done by Dean and his assistant and would highly recommend Alfonsi Construction.

It went well, arrived on time and did what they could in 3 hours.

The cost was $250 plus paint. This was a special deal offered through Angie's List.

They were completely on time. They were fast. They took care of stuff like fixed the gate better than it ever worked. I would use them again.

It started out rough. Angie's list didn't let contractor know house was built prior to 1974 so there was an issue with lead paint. Once it was finished, it is a nice job but, one guy stank of cigarette smoke and smoked right outside my window. Job should probably have had one of the guys come out prior to accepting and assess the job. They really didn't seem like they wanted to be here doing this.

I ended up getting a refund because my house is older than 1978 and they said their license didn't cover the possibility of lead paint being present and I had some drywall work for them to do. The only real complaint I have is I wish that exclusion would have been included in the Deal. They were very responsive when emailing me back and answered my questions very quickly as far as materials I would need.

Dean communicated with me by email to understand the scope of work. He reconfirmed the appointment the day before and also let me know he was on his way the day of the appointment. Dean arrived promptly with his helper and both were very friendly. I found them to be professional, competent, precise and diligent. They were very easy to work with because they listened to what I needed done, and they cared about doing a good job. I am already planning to work with them again. I rate Alfosnsi Construction as excellent.

I told him exactly what I needed and he was very informative about what needed to be done. He told me upfront that he wouldn't be able to come out and do the work for several weeks, and I needed the work done asap. He recommended finding another company who could do the job quicker, but I will save his contact information for future reference.

I contacted Alfonsi Construction to arrange for the installation and received a prompt reply via email saying the work could be scheduled for 11/28. Dean followed up with a phone call on 11/26 to confirm the appointment. Dean and his assistant Dave arrived promptly at 8:00am and immediately went to work. The job proved to be a challenge because the vent pipe in the ceiling was unmovable and not in alignment with the range hood. They cut the vent pipe and installed an adaptor vent pipe in record time. The job was finished in less than two hours and it looked great.

I approached this project with some trepidation being it was such a massive overhaul of my home, but the professional, meticulous work of Alfonsi Construction quickly alleviated all of my concerns. I had initially intended to use them for only some of the work I was having done, but I soon realized I had struck gold with this company and knew these were the only people I wanted to work with. Dean Alfonsi, the man in charge, was straightforward and accommodating. He readily agreed to complete the project in stages with a few intermittent breaks, which kept me from feeling overwhelmed. I feel it is important to stress at this point that when you hire Alfonsi Construction you don?t get a crew that Dean Alfonsi sends out ? you get Dean Alfonsi himself. He does all the work with his assistant, Billy, and one other individual on occasion. Dean and Billy do remarkable work in an efficient and timely manner and clean up the area at the end of the day. The workers Dean sub-contracted to install the tile work were of the same high caliber, and so were the individuals he recommended to me for the plumbing and electrical work that was needed. Dean isn?t satisfied with the work until he knows you?re satisfied. At one point I was a bit disappointed with an aspect of the tile work but decided to accept it. Dean took me aside as told me if I wanted it redone he?d tell the installers to redo it, and that?s what he did. He discovered a small leak on the installation of a bathroom sink and contacted the plumber directly to arrange for it to be corrected ? that?s how concerned with your complete satisfaction Dean is. Dean was always happy to go the extra mile. He accepted and implemented some revisions to my plans without trouble or complaint. If the cost was affected the revised charges were always easily negotiated and very reasonable. He didn?t hesitate to throw in a few extras too. I had another contractor build and install my kitchen cabinets and upon completion some of the trim was found to be loose and poorly installed. Dean corrected the problem and did an excellent job at no additional charge, even though the problem wasn?t his responsibility to fix. In addition to all that, Dean is absolutely, 100% reliable. When he says he?ll be there, he?ll be there. One of my sisters had an addition built on her home and the contractor she hired would disappear for days at a time (without explanation) to work other jobs. That never happens with Dean. If he?s going to be away a day or two he lets you know well in advance so you can schedule your own time accordingly ? there?s never any unexplained absences. I have no doubt that I?ll be using Dean?s services again in the future. I?m delighted to recommend Alfonsi Construction for any home projects you may have in mind. I?m glad I used them, and I?m certain you will be too!

From day one,, Dean was professional, prompt, and he and his assistant were fanatical re: cleaning up after the work. the floor outside the room they worked on was covered so they would not be tramping dirt and drywall dust in and out. Steps to the main xterior door were covered with a tarp for the same reason. Dean was so pleased with the results, he took before and after photos. Yes I'd use him in the future for any remodeling work necessary.

Alfonsi did an excellent job of painting. The lines near the ceiling, other walls, and two doors in the painted walls were all perfectly straight and professional looking. He worked quietly and efficiently. He placed protective cloths all over the floor and any other part of the house he had to walk on so there was no danger of any unintentional damage. He ended up charging below his estimate. Alfonsi is an honest and highly skilled painter. I would strongly recommend him for any job.

quick and professional response from advice and estimating cost to setting dates for work and performing all work, including all clean-up. work very recently performed and looks fine at this time. quite satisfied with the work and the individuals who performed it.

Alfonsi Construction has previously done a couple of jobs for my family in the past and were well pleased with their work. They again completed the work on time and did a great job of cleaning up each day. We are very pleased with the outcome. We were very pleased with Alfonsi Construction's services. They pressure-washed, prepped and painted the exterior of our home. They were punctual, precise, and very professional. They also made sure to clean up afterwards when their work day was done. Upon completion of the job, Dean wanted to make sure we were happy with the outcome before making our final payment.

PLEASE be careful. Don't hire this person. My home is need of massive repair. The worst part of this is HE LIVES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF MY NEIGBORHOOD. So if he does this to a neigbor what WHAT???? I hope the State of Florida and the Legal system take care of this.

I am planning to put my house on the market. Need a lot of repairs from a fearful dog who passed. Need lots of baseboards, doorways replaced. Have a tear in the popcorn ceiling from a leak in the roof a few years back. Want all interior rooms painted. Dean Alfonsi's was one of the companies I contacted for a quote, based on the previous excellent reports he had received from other members. He was extremely professional and prompt. I did not go with Dean because my budget is extremely tight. I would definitely call him again in the future and would recommend that others do the same.

I hired Alfonsi Construction for a remodeling job and was so pleased with their work that I hired them again to repair my ceiling on our lanai. Alfonsi Construction was on time each day. They placed drop cloths each day to protect the deck and picked up during the day, as well as, completely cleaned up at the end of each day. They took down the existing ceiling and replaced it with moisture resistant drywall. They sealed and textured the ceiling then painted and replaced the ceiling fans. I was very pleased with the work Alfonsi Construction did. They were always on time, cleaned up after themselves and even cleaned my windows after the work was done. They were very professional and the ceiling looks fantastic. I would recommend this Company for all your remodeling/repair projects.

Dean and his partner provided us with a fair estimate on this work early in 2011. My wife and I were slow in making a decision on which colors to use and didn't end up deciding until the week before Thanksgiving. Upon calling Dean to schedule the work, he knew exactly the work that was to be done even though the estimate was from months earlier. Can't say enough how pleased we are with the work that was done. First of all, the work took 5 days and they were on time each and every morning. The paint job was excellent and both Dean and his partner had a great attention to detail. We were also impressed with how they cleaned up every day. Other than the paint on the walls, it was hard to tell there was a project going on. Great work at a fair price. I highly recommend Alfonsi Construction for any painting or home improvement project!
