They were very good about coming out and looking at things and gave me a quote that was detailed but not something I thought that I could work with. But ultimately I decided to be my own general contractor and thus hire some small crews to do the work their quote for approximately for $23000. What I have decided to do is that instead of them manage all the work I will do one room at a time. His crew might wind up doing one of two of the job unfortunately he is not getting the whole thing. I was very pleased with them since the owner actually came and did the walk through to look at the list of job that the engineer had left. His wife came by and delivered the actual quote to us. They were very decent. I think he would have been good to work with. They were very good to make time for us and showed up on time.

Alfonsi team were very friendly, professional, and quick in providing us guidance on the best ways to accomplish our job. Dean arrived on time to take a look at the bathroom and for initial consultation. He advised on how the bathroom could be repaired/renovated and took measurements. We promptly received estimates on how much it would cost to complete the job. Their customer support is amazing and they always returned my calls and answered my emails. I am very pleased with their knowledge and professionalism. Would highly recommend them to others!

Dean gave us an estimate in a timely manner. We agreed on a time to begin, he and Ed his helper arrived promptly, began work and completed the job in approx. 3.5 hours. They are prompt, knowledgeable, clean and the estimate was exactly what the job cost. We have used Alfonsi Construction in the past and will do so again in the future. They are honest, trustworthy, and timely. We appreciate them.

I needed him to help a problem, not fix a problem. After the installation, the water still was not being taken away from the house and they came back out to take a look. I explained again what I needed to have done; the work completed was what he thought needed to be done, not what I was asking for him to do. I explained what I needed to be done was for the excess water to be taken away from the house; which, the water is collecting near my home and near the slab of the house at a pin pointed location. What they did was add a french drain, which did not help my problem. They referred me to a gutter service provider to add to the gutter I already had, to fix the problem that was still existing. When they came out, they said it cannot be fixed, they would have to install a whole new gutter or to reach out to a roofer to cut back some of the edge that hangs over the eve. So I did, they said I had would to have my roof replaced, that one area could not be "fixed". Originally, he agreed to add a pitch to the area that was leaking so there would not be a puddle, the pitch he added is not working properly. I still have the puddle of water since the job that he did is not fixing the problem which I hired him for.

We contacted Alfonsi Construction for an estimate for drywall patching, I was impressed with the service provided by Mr. Alfonsi and his wife. Punctual, professional, very detail oriented. Noticed some cracks I didn't see myself. Very prompt in email replies and on the phone.

Very professional every step of the way from Dean and Suzanne coming for the estimate, email communication, Dean and Ed working as a team to get the job done. They let us know about unrelated items they noticed so we could deal with them seperately. Job was excellent and cleanup left no trace that they had been here. Very pleased.

Took over a week to get an estimate three times the other company that came out in 2 days on their way home.

The Alfoni Construction crew were great and did a wonderful job. They were always on time and made sure all work was done right, they explained what they were doing and why it was being done. They cleaned up after themselves and provide the type of service very few companies do any more. They completed the work on time and within budget. Will use them again in the future and am recommending them to all my friends and family.

r from All went well. These guys are good, but they are located in an area far from St. Pete Beach. I had to wait until they had another job in my area, but that was okay with me. Only reason I wouldn't use them again is because of their location.

Alfonsi construction did a wonderful job of refurbishing our condo for resale. They did much more than was asked and performed very good work. They began work when they said they would and finished on time which was very much appreciated. They left the place spotless and ready for showing. We cannot recommend this company enough.

Their bid was too high. However, they were good to deal with and were on time.

I would use them again in the future.

My front door and side lights were a wreck..... the door was over 25 years old, off square, and rotten; and the side lights were the same age and obviously home-owner made out of 2 x4's. Dean removed everything very carefully after taping plastic at the entrance so no dust or bugs would come into the house while the wall was open. The opening wasn't quite big enough for the new door w/sidelights that I purchased, so he had to do some adjustments to the opening by knocking out some of the stucco surround on the outside. This wasn't an easy job, but he patiently did everything necessary to be sure it was perfect when he was done.... all in the sweltering sun I might add. He came back the next day to re-stucco the area around the door so it looked built in and even with the additional work he didn't waver from the original estimate of cost. He did a GREAT job! I couldn't be more pleased and HIGHLY reccommend Alfonsi Construction. You won't be disappointed!

I am thoroughly pleased with Alfonsi Construction and have already discussed future work. They arrive on time, clean up at the end of each work day and are most accommodating and courteous. Estimated time to complete the projects was accurate in spite of changes to the original plan.

This a retail home. I haven't seen the work but the occupents said he did a good job. I plan to visit the house in a couple of weeks to inspect for my self.

Dean and his wife came to the house at our convenience to provide an estimate of the services we wanted. Dean made a complete list of the requests and gave us an estimate within two days. His attention to detail was evident in the estimate. We agreed upon a date to begin work, and Dean and his crew showed up on time and began working. Dean stayed for the entire job, which took two days. I did not have one moment's worry with these gentlemen in my home. They were courteous, efficient,professional ,and the completed work was perfect! Stellar communication before , during, and after the work was done and paid for- thank you so much.

We couldn't have asked for a better painter / contractor. Dean & his assistant, Ed, were on time every morning at 7am and ready to go to work. At the end of each day, they cleaned up everything completely. It was apparent right away that Dean was very "picky" and we felt immediately comfortable that the job would be done to his very high standards. They did a beautiful job painting the inside of our newly purchased home, we couldn't have been happier. Dean took an archway in the house and remodeled and reframed it and installed french doors for us. A perfect job. In fact, when they were finished with all the work we were actually sad to see them go - they were so professional, personable, and helpful. As we were organizing our house they were always willing to help my husband lift or carry something he couldn't do on his own. We would be happy to refer them to any of our our friends and will call them anytime we need something in the future. You will be very glad you hired them to take care of anything you need done - especially if you want someone who has high standards of excellence and takes pride in their work.

Dean is the old-fashioned kind of worker he arrives on-time, works hard, and does a very good job. Once when there was a problem with the sink after he left he came back the same afternoon and fixed the problem. I will use him again.

Alfonsi Construction arrived and went right to work. Dean and his assistant dug two long trenches and after some discussion I decided to add an additional trench to the drain. Work continued while I obtained the additional materials required. The drain was completed and the work area left clean.

The service was excellent. They had some people come out and do some repair work on my windows. They fixed the issue, honored the coupon, and I was pleased with the service. I would recommend them.

Mr. Alfonsi was punctual, precise and professional. He and his assistant cleaned up all the mess (which was alot), were on time every day, polite, and let us know beforehand exactly what they would do, when the job would be started, completed and a detailed cost estimate. Could not have asked for more professional and expert gentlemen. Will definitely use Dean Alfonsi for any and all remodeling jobs in the future.

I needed to make these repairs for a long time, but just never had the time. I got an Angie's Big Deal email for a Handyman For a Day that included 6 hours of labor (2 men for 3 hours) for only $249. Two days after purchasing the service, I got an email from Dean confirming his services. He was very prompt in responding to my emails, and keeping me updated on when he would come to do the job. I had purchased the wrong type of putty, so he used his own supply and didn't charge me for it. They worked quickly and did an awesome job; they cleaned up the work area and left nothing behind.

Purchased the Angie's List deal in January and the owner Dean called the following week to determine what work was to be performed and set up a date to work. I advised via email of the work expected and told him I was not quite ready but I would advise once I was ready for him to do the work. On 2/27 I sent Dean an email letting him know I was ready to set up a date for the work to be done. On 3/6 Dean and a worker arrived to perform the work. Dean advised he had sent me an email to advise of date but for some reason I did not receive it. I'm not sure what happened but in any case I work from home so it worked out fine. He was professional and did exactly what I asked him to do. He moved stuff around in my garage since I had not had a change to do so and I was very satisfied with the work performed. He finished a bit earlier and asked if there was any other tasks he could take care of for me. I had him install some blinds in the garage. He cleaned up at the end and all in all a good experience. I would use this company again if I have a need.

Arrived early, asked what I needed done, and just went to work! He made sure I approved what he did, and then moved onto the next project. Before he left, her cleaned and picked up all cartons and work materials.... Was a joy to get these projects completed so fast and out of the way!
