Jeff was in touch immediately and scheduled us quickly, a great help since we were on a tight schedule in the middle of a kitchen/bathroom remodel. All work was excellent, and they even did a few repairs we had not asked for. We will use this provider for all plaster and drywall in the future.

I signed up for one of the Angie's List deals which gave me up to 4 hours of drywall or plaster repair work at a reduced fee. Jeff Cohn called me to set up a date for the work. He and another member of his team arrived on the agreed upon afternoon. I thought they would only be able to repair 3 or 4 of the cracks in the plaster walls, but they were able to fix cracks in the walls and ceilings in 4 different rooms. It only took them a bit over an hour to do all the work. Jeff cleaned up after himself and did a great job. I have already gotten some estimates from him to do some other work in the house. I found Jeff to be personable, straightforward and polite. I will likely use him and his company for future work.

Working with Jeff and his folks was a pleasure. When we were planning the project, Jeff suggested several things my wife and I hadn't considered that really improved the look and functionality of the remodeled bathrooms. Jeff and his crew did what they said they were going to do, did it when they said they would do it and did it well - no surprises, no delays. We couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Jeff and his team do excellent work. Jeff is a careful planner and researches materials if the work requires any unusual treatment. His team works carefully and does a good job of preparation and cleanup. Jeff supervised closely. The work was as planned and was a good value. We can not say enough good things about Jeff and his team. They were consistently on time, very professional, finished on budget and most importantly did a great job. They made our whole downstairs look amazing! We are going to use Jeff in the future without any hesitation.

Entire process went smoothly...even after we made changes in the middle of the construction phase. The plans started out with a simple design and as the construction began we realized we would not be happy unless we made those changes. CBC never gave us any grief when making the changes. Entire project was copmplete within one month from start to finish. The main delay was due to the custom ordering of the windows. Had we gone with standard size windows off the shelf we would have been sooner.

My husband and I had been searching for a builder/contractor for the past two years to replace the portico on the front of our home. We believe the portico with attached pillars was built at the time our house was built, at least 70 years ago. The portico and pillars were made of wood, and the wood was crumbling and peeling. We knew that the structure would not last through another Cleveland winter. When we contacted Cleveland?s Best Construction, Jeff agreed to come to our home and give us an estimate for the job. Jeff let us know that he was on Angie?s list and invited us to review the comments. The comments on Angie?s List sold us on Jeff and his company, Cleveland?s Best Construction. We were satisfied with the project estimate and the numerous positive comments provided the reassurance we needed to accept the proposal and go ahead with the project. On the very first day, Jeff and his crew not only arrived on time, but they were a few minutes early. Jeff did use a subcontractor for our job, and the workers were very thorough and professional. Every day, the crew arrived on-time and other than the work in progress, you would have never known workers were at our home. They cleaned up at the end of each work day and arranged for the leftover materials to be carted away. The project took about one week to completed, and we couldn?t be more pleased with the appearance of our new front portico. Of note on the quoted price, we were quoted by several companies for replacement of the portico only. Jeff?s quote not only enabled us to replace the portico, but also included the replacement of the overhang over the side door to our home. On the last day of the job and after we made the final payment, I pointed out a few spots that needed attention. Jeff and one the crew returned the next day to make sure those areas were taken care of to my satisfaction. Overall, I feel Cleveland?s Best Construction provided superior workmanship in completing the project on my home, and I strongly recommend Cleveland?s Best Construction for any projects that you may have.

The project was completed timely from an original estimate provided in December, 2009. The project was started and completed in February, 2010. All of the work was done with highest quality and workmanship. The subcontractors were neat and considerate of my family and home. The work was completed within the time frame estimated and there were no problems found after the work was completed.

This company and its people did such an excellent, professional job!! We would use them again in a heartbeat. They were timely, conscientious, professional, and nice to work with. The outcome of the job is superb!

Fantastic experience! Jeff redid our dingy worn out laundry room and left us with a bright, new, functional space. After installing the brighter track lights, he saw some areas of paint he was not satisfied with and plans to return to fix them. He also installed a pocket door between our sun-room and the rest of the house. This entailed matching custom woodwork. Jeff gave a detailed, professional and very reasonable estimate. He arrived on time both to discuss the projects and to do the work. He always answered his phone to answer questions. He listened to us. He and his employees were a pleasure to work with. He cares about the quality of his work and wanted to do the job right. What more could a homeowner want! I would definitely call Jeff again for future projects.

We needed to do a major repainting of the house and repair and repaint the inside of the attached garage. After several estimates, we went with Cleveland's Best Construction because the quote was reasonable and the owner was very professional. They did the job (which someone else quoted as a 10 day job) in three days, and came back to make sure we were happy with it! The crew was extremely pleasant to have around, and were very neat and clean. The job itself was done perfectly!

The project was exactly what you would hope for from a contractor. The work was done promptly, and more importantly, it was done well. Our basement really wasn't liveable space and now we show it off to our friends. The workmanship was exceptional-especially the bookcases. They are beautiful

We bought a fixer-upper that needed a lot of updating before we moved in. We had a limited time window between closing and when we wanted to move in. Jeff and crew were able to estimate and execute accurately and on budget (actually, below budget!) for an excellent price. They removed wallpaper in the entire home (3800+ ft2) and painted; removed tile in the entryway (not an easy task) and installed hardwood (2000 ft2). In addition, some cabinets were removed in the kitchen and finish carpentry/stain was done to match the exisiting ones. Stairs that had been covered in carpert were sanded and stained; the initial stain wasn't quite what we imagined and the job was redone without question until it was perfect. The results are striking! Kudos for keeping us on time, informed, and setting our expectations as to what was realistic and what was not. We will be using Jeff for future projects - a great value.

Mason had repaired a chimney on tudor home that has a yellow stucco but did not make attempt to match color and said he could not. Called Jeff Cohn and he suggested a fix that would involve "skinning" a layer of the chimney masonry and then matching the color with cement of matching color. I gave the quality rating a "B" only because his mason's mix did not match the color of the house or the color chart, and they they had to come back after the winter and applied a "slurry mix" of the same material and, this time, nailed it. Jeff is good to work with, has good ideas and is not looking for the most expensive solution. On several occasions, he recommended against options that would create unknowns and unknown costs, even though it would have been more money to him. I would recommend Jeff to anyone

Quick turnaround time of the initial quote. CBC arrived promptly every day, and we had great communication every step of the way. Very professional. The original framing from the previous owner was off, so they re-squared it. They didn't just tweak it and patch it up, they fixed the flaw and did it RIGHT! The drywall was so smooth and was such a breeze to paint. The ceiling looks great and matches the texture of the other ceilings. Fantastic craftsmanship! They exceeded my expectations. Couldn't be more pleased with the end result.

We are preparing our house for sale. I have always been very particular about the details and Jeff was realistic with me about what can be done to come in on budget and time. This is the third time I have used this company and I have been very pleased each time. Jeff is very pleasant to work with. He does a very good job of communicating with me along every step of the way. Repainting the main floor when there are two two year old children running around can be challenging But Jeff and his team managed to get the job done quietly without much complaint from them. I called and set up an appointment for an estimate. Jeff came out at the appointed time. He gave me a couple of options for the work to be performed. When I accepted one of the estimates, he sent out a workman who arrived at the appointed time. The work was done promptly and professionally. The ceiling looks like new.

Amazing! We could not have asked for a better experience with a contractor! Jeff is great at every single aspect of his job, and his sub-contractors are fantastic! Jeff's prices we found to be very fair and when he thought his sub-contractors were priced too high for a part of the job he would shop around to get us the best price. Every aspect of the project came out better than we could have imagined. The one tile floor in the bathroom that Jeff didn't love the results, he paid himself for the material and labor to re-do it. Who does that??? Amazing! He answers his phone every time I call- no phone tag- and he is great at calling with updates every step of the way when we're not at home. He and his team are SUPER CLEAN! It was a messy project at times, but they were all SO considerate of the fact that we were living through construction with two toddlers and they all cleaned up and secured their tools every night! Jeff would frequently mop the floor every night- even if I told him it was unnecessary. Jeff was right on with price and timing. Even when a project took more effort than originally planned, the price did not change, and everything was done exactly on time. I really can't say enough about Clevelands Best. They really are the best!

I located Jeff using Angie's List and called him to get an estimate. He came out that evening and looked at the work to be done and took measurements. Within two days I had a quote with options. We agreed on the work to be done and signed the contract. Time wasn't an issue for us so we let him fit it to his schedule. He showed up when he said he would, did the job in less time and saved us some money on materials. He and his people were neat and cleaned up nicely when they were finished. Very happy with the work.

Jeff and all the staff were great. Very professional and responsive start to finish. He honored all of our requests, and even accommodated our requests to do some extra work last minute. He answered all of our questions, addressed any concerns and made sure we were 100% happy with everything they did. We are very pleased with the results.

Fairly well. The estimate was accurate, but the job took one day longer than originally estimated, which did cause a hiccup in my personal schedule. The worker on the second day was also nearly 2 hours late. However, I am pleased with the final project and glad Jeff was able to recommend such a professional closet system company for the project. I went from having a barely functioning closet space to one which is accessible, orderly, and makes the most of the space.

Jeff was fantastic again! This is our second experience working with him, and we'd never use anyone else for any need for our home. He always answers his phone or returns messages quickly. He completes work on time, or keeps us informed of any changes to the projected timeframe. He checks in on his subcontractors to ensure we are happy with the service and work.
