It could not have gone better, Jeff called to schedule our appointment promptly and came over to give his estimate. He was fair and understanding to our needs. Even gave me some free advise on small job I wanted to do myself. The day of the job he and his partner were waiting for me when I got home, they protected my house with paper and lot's of drop clothes. They were so neat and polite. It was nice to share a conversation while waiting for the drywall to dry between coats. They did a great job and kept going back over it until it was perfect. They cleaned up completely and made me promise to call if there was a problem. I would like to find more jobs for them - they were that good!

Jeff and the electricians arrived on time. They were very kind and efficient. They went over and above to remove three heavy valances that were left by the previous owner. I will certainly use this company again.

CBC and Jeff Cohn were terrific. From start to finish, Jeff and his team were prompt, courteous, professional and friendly. They arrived on Monday to tear down the damaged ceiling and wall materials, install new materials, and prime. The next day they painted. We are very pleased with the results. The room looks better than new. In addition to providing top-notch service, Jeff and his team took the time to do a good job the right way. They took great care to avoid making a mess, placing drop cloths down all the way through our house. We also had questions about the VOC content of the primer used, and they were very accommodating about those questions. And Jeff followed up with a call to make sure we were happy with the work that was done, and how it was done. I strongly recommend Jeff and his team, and I am very grateful we were able to find them on Angie's List.

Contacted CBC after a pipe burst in our home causing water damage to our master bedroom. Jeff promptly returned my call, and scheduled a visit to provide an estimate. Jeff was able to provide an estimate before the insurance company. After finally receiving an estimate from our insurance company, we were thrilled to see that CBC's estimate was right in line with the insurance adjustor's estimate. The project was scheduled promptly and the work was completed as promised. Very pleased with the quality and professionalism throughout the project. Time commitments were met, in fact the work was completed a day sooner than promised. The workers were very conscientious about cleaning up after the work was completed each day. I have dealt with my fair share of contractors over the years, and have grown accustomed to being disappointed, delayed or misled. That is not the case with CBC, and Jeff will be my first call for future projects.

Starting exactly at the time scheduled, the team moved the large and heavy furniture that my husband and I were unable to move alone. They worked as a team, and were courteous and professional. After they had finished the floor work, they moved the heavy funiture back into place. They explained how we should maintain our floors and gave us the relevant cleaning product. The floor and grout now look like new. It was well worth the money and we recommend their prompt and excellent service. They provided the service they promised - already that is worth a lot :-)

Jeff and his crew have done work for us in the past and have done a great job. We always get other estimates but he seems to always come right in the middle and is very reasonable, especially for the quality of work performed. Jeff and his crew are always very professional and do a good job of cleaning up when they are done each day (this project took only one day if I am remembering right.) They are quick and efficient and would definitely recommend them. I'm hoping we are done with home improvement projects for a while, but if we weren't we would definitely be contacting Jeff again. A few weeks to a month after the floor had settled we noticed a pretty minor crack in some grout lines. Jeff was very responsive to our call and came out the next day to sand and fill the lines. They did a great job on the floor and were very helpful when we had questions. Jeff even gives helpful advice on the projects we decided to do on our own to save a little bit of money. We have been very happy working with Cleveland's Best Construction and recommend them to others.

Jeff and his crew kept to their timeline. They were communicative before, during, and after the whole process. The people working in our home were very polite and clean. This was a job that no other contractors seemed interested in touching, but Jeff did it completely to our satisfaction, and within our budget. If we ever need any other services, Cleveland's Best Construction will be my first call.

After interviewing many contractors, we finally decided on Cleveland's Best Construction (CBC). Having never been through a renovation like this in the past, we were a bit nervous. We had many questions about the design - CBC connected us with a great designer to finalize the design. CBC then drew up a detailed scope of work and worked with us us on price until we had a contract that worked for all of us. Once all of the materials that we were responsible for choosing arrived (tile, faucets, etc), Jeff and his team got started. Brian was the lead on the project and he (and a few others) were there everyday until the project wrapped. CBC did not work for a few days then dissappear for a while, they were at the house working on the project daily. When one part of the bathroom project was delayed, they moved on to the bedroom and kitchen to keep the project on time. I cant say enough about the guys who were responsible for our project. My husband and I work full time but Brian and Jeff were very good about communicating on the progress, questions, challenges and completion date of the project. We would speak by text, phone and email daily. Our project ran into some challenges when the stone for the tub deck was not installed properly (stone was installed by the stone company, not by CBC). Much to my surprise, Jeff and Brian really stuck up for us, insisting the stone work was done properly and worked closely with us and the stone company to ensure a new stone slab for the tub deck was installed properly and looked nice. It was quite obvious that CBC takes pride in their work and their relationships with their customers is a top priority. There were a few unexpected instances that popped up during the project and CBC made a point to call us before doing anything to discuss the price and the outcome. Once the project wrapped there were a few items that we felt needed additional attention. They were literally at the house the next day taking care of the items. Overall, our bathroom, kitchen and master bathroom look great. Thank you Jeff, Brian and the entire CBC crew for all of your hard work. I will definitely be calling CBC for our next renovation project.

Overall Sam and Jim were great. We will recommend them to friends and family for any painting jobs.

Jeff the owner of Cleveland's Best Construction called quickly after receiving our email and set up a time to see and evaluate the job. He brought Ethan with him who does woodworking and tile installation as well as painting. Jeff and Ethan are very professional and prompt. We walked them through the house and pointed out trim on columns we wanted removed, soffits to be taken down and ceiling trim to be changed. They also centered a light fixture over our kitchen table. Most of the walls needed to be repaired from water damage from an ice dam or wallpaper seams so that was time consuming. Their attitudes were very "can do". When day came they were to begin work, they arrived at 8:30 am and worked steadily throughout the day. There were always at least two workers every day and some days three, one day there were four of them for part of the day. There were never any no-shows. They were here on time every morning by 8:30am ready to work, Jeff often came by in the evening to drop off supplies for the next day. They spent 3 weeks and 4 days here and cleaned up their areas at the end of every day. They were always pleasant and polite while in my home and I never felt uncomfortable with them here. My living room is transformed and looks great and I'm happy with the rest of the house as well. Jeff has called twice to follow up on anything to touch up and he stopped by while we were on spring break and took care of a couple little things. (we had a dog sitter here while we were gone) It's pretty disruptive to have to clear out your entire living room and a closet (in the foyer) and two bathrooms in order for them to work in there, but they made it as easy as they could.

They were able to cut open the ceiling to find the source of the ceiling leak. They were able to quickly pinpoint the leak as well as what will need to be repaired. They cleaned up the debris and took the debris with them. They were very professional and knowledgeable. We will be using them for sure in the future for many home repairs! Excellent service!

Jeff gave us a professional estimate and was pleasant to work with. Phone calls were returned promptly. Work started on the arranged day and the installers were nice and very professional. Paul the installer and his helper were hard working, and tried to be as neat as possible, which was challenging given that there were 4 rooms being worked on. I would use them again - I highly recommend.

Start to finish they were a joy to work with. Came when they said they going to. Had great suggestions about how to modernize the kitchen inexpensively, but adding trim molding and baseboards throughout. The painting of the kitchen and bath cabinets turned out a lot better than I thought - looks like a factory finish. They used a very fine gauge sprayer on all the doors and drawers - looks great. Quality work. I have been through several major renovation projects and Jeff Cohn made it easy. No problems whatsoever! They helped me work with Granex to choose a granite counter top - which I paid for directly. It was not included in the $21,000. I also purchased backsplash tile for the kitchen and the new light fixtures - again not included in $21,000. I will be hiring Cleveland's Best Construction for my master bath remodel - I am so pleased with them!

The two skylight holes that they covered were perfectly blended, even knowing where they were I still can't tell what is old and what is new. The basement drywall looks great and all the painting was wonderful. I would definitely recommend them, they were very professional and quick, and did great quality work.

The project took more then four weeks. The guys did their best to keep us functional in the house as much as possible. Leaving the bedroom and one bath as long as they could. The guys were hard working and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We would highly recommend Cleveland's Best Construction.

After a reasonable estimate and setting a date for work, Jeff arrived promptly to begin work on my basement. This involved the installation of drywall for the ceiling, covering a stair railing in drywall, installing baseboards, and priming/painting the ceiling. The work took 2 days and his team was very clean leaving the area spotless after the work was completed. Cleveland's Best Construction exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I had water damage due to a roof leak from the storm in October (Sandy). My upstairs closet, living room ceiling, walls and floor and the basement ceiling needed repairs. The damage was covered by my homeowner's insurance and I needed to provide estimates for approval. The initial estimates I submitted to my insurance adjuster he concluded were too high and I contacted a couple more companies for additional estimates, among them Cleveland's Best, owner Jeff Cohn. I first called Dec 18 and due to the holidays Mr. Cohn advised he was going to be gone and would call me after Jan 3rd. We did play phone tag but every single call I made was returned very promptly and we were able to make an appointment for an estimate 1/11/13. Mr. Cohn was reviewed the damaged areas and emailed my estimate two days later on 1/13. The price was reasonable and Cleveland's Best was one of the two contractors I had to choose between. Based on their responsiveness and professionalism I would definitely recommend this company and will call them again myself if I need future work done in my home.

I'm on a roll with Angie's list positive experiences. I called Jeff in October 2012 to provide an estimate on a botched dry wall job consisting of 3 bed rooms, hall way, living room and parts of a bathroom. Jeff sent his drywall expert Jason out that night for an estimate. Jason was honest, laid the facts out, explained the job in front of him. I kept in touch over the next few months and scheduled in the first week of January 2012. Jason was scheduled to start the next week. Jason's a wizard and the results were evident after the first day. Jeff stayed in touch daily and any requests i had were dealth with with a "not a problem." Jason was the man to work with. Basically a dude who told you what's up at every turn with no pretentiousness and no BS. Job finished yesterday. Everything was cleaned up which is saying something after so much dry wall work. Painless customer service with normal people despite their obviously being in demand in their field. Top notch quality. There's a reason why the business is named Cleveland's Best Construction. Call immediately and get the job done right, no worries. I'm happy to provide person recommendation. I hope to have before and after pictures up as the difference between the job they fixed and the job completed is night and day.
