I purchased a $99 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out good. I expanded and asked for more work so I spent about $900 total. The people were great, but I thought the price might have been a hair high. That was the only thing I did not like, but I am the one that agreed to it. I have had no issues since they did the work, but they stated in their agreement that their guarantee did not cover the shower. So, mold and mildew in the shower will come back pretty quickly.

Jeff Cohn came to me an estimate for some handyman work. When he arrived he told me that they don't do handyman work even though they were listed as a handyman service on Angie's List. Jeff gave me the name and phone number of someone else.

The service was excellent. They came in and did a beautiful job. They totally transformed the floors and they didn't take very long. The floors look terrific. We paid extra than the big deal. We had to pay a lot more because we had a lot of work done. The quality of work was excellent.

*Update* The owner Jeff, with Suncoast has done everything in his power to rectify the situation. Jeff had no idea of the carelessness shown by the original contractor handling our possible project, so with this being said, I felt I should update the situation and rating. From the big actions taken to alleviate the frustration caused by the prior contractor I would definitely consider Jeff with our project. Thank you Jeff and Rolando for your time and understanding today! We contacted the owner at Suncoast at a decent sized remodel because we loved the reviews on here. 100+ A+ reviews is amazing, so upon speaking to Suncoast 3/17 or 3/18 he quickly gave us the number to his "partner" who was closer to us since we lived in ST Pete. Not a problem, we contacted the gentleman by the name of Corey, made plans to meet on a Friday and to our surprise that Thursday he called to see if we'd like to move our day up to Thursday which worked out GREAT! So Corey showed up as planned gave us some great ideas and said he'd get back with us the following Tuesday. This is where the disappointment began and continued. The following Tuesday he made no contact so we thought, no big deal if we haven't heard from him by the next day, we'll call him the next evening. Still no contact so we called him to which he responded he was out of town and would contact us when he got back by that Thursday. Thursday came, by this point we were slightly frustrated so we contacted him that night with a simple text stating we still hadn't heard from him and asked him to please give us an update as to what the hold up was. He responded by stating he would call us the following evening with "some numbers". He never called so we reached out ONE last time two days later to once again ask what was going on, he now contradicted his previous statement of having "numbers ready" to say he was waiting on the "Plaster guys" to give him their price. So we simply asked is this something we should know tonight or another day? He never responded back, the next day he text back by saying HE NOW has numbers together and will give us a call, as I'm sure can suspect it never happened and STILL hasn't happened a month later. Unbelievably frustrating and DISAPPOINTING. If any of this is in question we have ALL text messages and would be glad to share with anyone interested. Perhaps the owner of the company is the one living up to these high expectations others have left with A+ ratings but even if that's the case he should reconsider his partners!

The main rear entry room to the house is a 22 x 10 room, fully carpeted, and used as an entry from the pool area as well as a primary dining room. After 15 years we wanted to get rid of the carpeting and have tile installed. We had most of the house; kitchen, living room, front entryway, hallway and bathrooms tiled about 8 years ago. As with all projects recently we went to Angie?s list to find providers. We called SunCoast Home Solutions and Brian Dougherty the owner came over to provide us with an estimate. The estimate was contingent upon what was under the carpeting, as we had no idea. He set up a date to remove the carpet and tile the floor. The carpet was removed exposing an area of tiled floor that had to be removed. The estimate was amended reasonably and the job begun. The team he provided, Tucker Morton and Clay Williamson, who can best be described in old fashioned terms as "masters of their craft" handled the entire job. It should be noted here that the room was about 4 inches lower that the rest of the house and the steps were slightly irregular in shape, i.e. wider at one end than the other, and the room was not actually squared. When they were finished the irregularities of the room are not noticeable. A totally amazing job. They showed up at the time promised, everything was kept clean, and there was surprisingly no dust. We are really sorry we do not have any more rooms to be tiled. We would not go elsewhere.

Overall the work was done and outcome was great. A little over budget and over timeframe, but that can happen anywhere.

From the price quote to the actual work being performed, everyone was as professional and as efficient as I could ask for. There were a few bumps in the road, but any problems encountered were addressed and resolved quickly. When all was said and done, the shower turned out beautiful. Thanks Jeff!

Brian and his team did an excellent job. Looks like new. Provided estimate and demonstration, showed up on time and everything looks great.

Everyone was very professional and timely. The individual doing the estimate contacted me several times to clarify items, for the purposes of making sure that the quote was exact. I was very impressed with their professionalism. Received the very detailed quote in a timely manner. In the end, I received three quotes and chose another provider due to the cost difference, but I would not hesitate to contact this company again in the future should I have another project.

i've made an appointment (for a quote) with the owner, Brian, on the phone. he was very pleasant and seemed very accommodating. i requested that we meet on thursday at 430pm but he requested to meet at 4pm instead since he said that he will be in the area. so it was set at 4pm. come thursday 3:15, he called and he said that he will not be able to make it because he is too far away. he asked if it would be okay if he makes it at my house around 6:30. i said that it would be fine since i will be at home anyway. long pause, then he said, "we'll just re-schedule, it's just not worth it." i was very disappointed to say the least because it was very difficult for me to re-arrange my schedule so that i could meet with him, and to hear "it's not just worth it" was not only unprofessional but also very inconsiderate. i think he does great work with all the reviews that he has on angie's list. but i would just have to look for another contractor... someone who may think the job that i will be giving them is "worth it." best of luck brian!

Very professional.....estimate was on target. My tile and grout look brand new! Very fast workers....two bathrooms, foyer, laundry room and kitchen..completed in 4 hours with two men working...Love It!

Brian came out and looked at the grout. The home is 14 years old and the grout was looking pretty bad. He was honest up front and stated the grout cleaning probably would not look as good as we would like when finished. I knew I would have to reseal the grout and he suggested to recolor it with a much better matching grout. Brian even did a sample area while he was there (never pushy). I had the cleaning done and the grout restained and sealed. We were well pleased with the way it turned out, it is a much cleaner look now that the grout matches. His service staff are very professional and courteous. There was a small area missed (couple inches) when regrouting. When I called Brian he immediately came out to fix it. I will be using him again to replace some tile in a smaller room. For comparison, the master bath was large with a double shower and double Jacuzzi tub that the regrouting had to encompass.

Excellent. On time. On budget. Great subcontractors. Highly recommend.

My experience has gone very well so far. The staff was very professional and friendly over the phone. They were very prompt with the call back to schedule the appointment. I am looking forward to having the project completed.

I was impressed with Jeff and Brian when they came to our home to give us an estimate. They reviewed our ideas,giving us cost saving suggestions as well as design ideas that we could incorporate into our project. I particularly liked their business plan where they supply all of the labor and we supply the material. Their labor estimate was a fixed price for the work agreed upon, and by us supplying the material, we could control our purchases to fit our budget. Jeff gave us helpful suggestions on the selection of items and suggestions of where to purchase quality items at a reasonable price. The work consisted of a complete master bath remodel including removal of an existing corner shower and adjacent garden tub and then building a new walk in shower with decorative tile walls and tile floors, installing new tile floors in the remaining areas of the bathroom, installing new quartz counter tops, double sinks, faucets, a new toilet, light fixtures and various misc. items. In our kitchen, they installed new quartz counter tops, a new sink, disposal and faucet and decorative glass backsplash. They also installed wainscot and trim and installed LED under counter lighting. The work started on the date we agreed upon and the work crews were there every day until everything was completed. All of the workmen were very courteous and the quality of their work was superb (This coming from an ex building inspector) I would not hesitate recommending Suncoast Home Solutions to my family and friends. .

Brian came to our newly purchased condo to look at the tile/grout job and honestly told us that it wouldn't look much different after he cleaned it-- not to waste our money . Refunded our money but we will certainly use him for future jobs!

The owner was prompt in coming out & looking at the job, explaining what to expect & explained additional services. I just need to call for service, but have no doubt that it will be as professional as the initial contact.

We had decided to fix up our house prior to sale. Jeff and Brian came out and made suggestions that were very helpful. They steered us away from spending too much money and suggested some smart inexpensive solutions to meet our budget. Work was done in a timely manner - and I asked for some of it last minute. We have been very impressed. When we moved here, we didn't know who to contact and which contractors did good work. Suncoast has been a one stop solution. They have proven to be honest and reliable and we will continue to use them.

Small job, but done well. Grout in my two bathrooms was updated and it looks much better. The worker was reasonable and honored my particular request. Outdoor tile was cleaned well, but machine left some scratches on some tiles. I don't know if that can be fixed. For me, an A in quality means perfection. I'd say B for quality, though it was 95% fine.

They were professional and went out of their way to assure that the job was completed. I would highly recommend this company and will certainly utilize them for my next project. Thank you!

I am thrilled and I could not be happier. The two guys Shawn and Clay were very professional, polite, and very nice. They did the project in under 8 hours.

It was okay. It seemed more like a bait and switch kind of thing so I probably would not have them back. We paid an extra $170 or $180 on top of what we had already paid Angie's List. They ended up quoting me about the fine print but when I went back to the fine print, it did not say anything about the showers. We just needed it done so we just had them do it. We just moved in here so we needed it cleaned. The fine print just does not apply to anything in this room. Other than having to pay double, they were nice enough. I just felt like I overpaid for what we got and that we did not get our money's worth.

It turned out very well. A man from the company contacted me right away and then we made an appointment. I spent more than the price of the big deal. He was very thorough and very polite. He did a good job. I do not really have much to compare the price to so I really do not have an opinion on that. The quality of the service was excellent and the man was responsive. I will surely use his services again in the future.
