It was excellent work and very professional. He handled a few issues with the system, worked around it and fixed the problem within a very short time.

Came right over on a Saturday morning, saved us, refrigerator was not working at all. Very friendly and helpful and had parts on truck.

The next day, Gabriel delivered the part as he had promised on schedule, installed the part within 30-45 minutes and the refrigerator started working as promised. My husband and I were very pleased. The company was able to attend to our needs in a timely fashion , in a professional manner, and we felt that the charges were reasonable.

Art explained everything very well. He was also very fair with his pricing - and did ONLY the work that was necessary. There was no pressure to do anything but fix the issue.

A and S is absolutely incredible. We have extensive experience with residential appliance repairs, since our business is small rental units. Our experience with appliance repair in the past has been slightly worse than buying from snake oil salesmen. A and S is a whole different ball game! We've used them several times now, and are always so pleased by the service. Most recently, we had him work on our own higher- end but older dryer and dishwasher, which were completely non-functioning. Art could have easily convinced us that a massive repair was required. Instead, he took several steps to try to keep our costs down. First, he spent about a half hour of free time on the phone with us, trouble-shooting to see if we could resolve the issues. When the problem persisted, he promptly set a very prompt appointment, showed up exactly on time, was courteous and pleasant, and began the assessment. In both cases, he did a thorough review of the entire appliance, then spent patient time explaining each issue and showing us the damaged parts to get our approval to repair before proceeding. He explained the issue patiently and thoroughly, then went ahead. The machines now function perfectly and were fixed for very reasonable cost. He left the work area very clean. In the case of the dryer, Art actually noticed that the original installer had made an error in the vent hose length which was causing a dangerous build-up of lint, and he voluntarily removed, cut, and re-ran the line for us for no cost, since it was a fire hazard.

Art identified the problem and was able to fix it quite quickly. There was a bunch of colour catcher sheets clogging the drain so the water couldn't get through. Needless to say I won't be using these in the wash again. I used the washer today to do three loads of wash and it worked perfectly. I would definitely call Art again if I had any other problems.

Art identified the likely problem with an oven (glow coil problem) during a phone call, got the part, arrived the next day and installed it, while also giving us a tutorial on the workings of the range burners to help us more efficiently operate them. He's coming back to fix a nagging problem on the water/ice dispenser in the refrigerator. Art is a pleasure to work with.

Art Freeman did a great job repairing the door on my side by side refrigerator. I called him this morning, and he came out this afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and instead of charging me a separate fee for a repair kit (which he would have to bring back in a separate trip), he used some washers that I already had to fix the problem. Art accomplished what I needed in a lot less time and for a lot less money than I expected, and I appreciated how resourceful he was. Art was friendly and professional, and I will definitely call him again when I have an appliance problem!

Art arrived on time, had diagnosed problem on the phone less than a week earlier so had the part with him. This was possible because I had given him the model and serial #. This made things very efficient indeed! He knows what he is doing and does it well! I highly recommend him.

Art was on time and very honest. He explained every step of his analysis of the problems and solutions. Instead of immediately telling us we needed a new dishwasher motor, he first ran vinegar through the dishwasher and then told us to buy something at walmart to clean the dishwasher and see if that would work. Recommended optimal temperature and settings etc. We found that the solution he suggested worked, and he saved us an expensive dishwasher repair. He unfroze the garbage disposal with a broomstick, but it was old and very rusty and likely would just freeze up again, so we opted to have him replace the unit, which he did that same day. So the total for the entire visit including new garbage disposal and installation was $200. He also said he would come back for the dishwasher without an additional service call if the treatment he recommended didn't work. We were very pleased with his service and would definitely use him again.

Art is very knowledgable about the repairs that were needed to be done. I was offered choices, based on how much I want to spend on the repair. I asked a lot of questions and got excellent answers. Also told me how to clean up by washing machine, no charge. Thanks

He was able to find the problem. He spent a lot of time and seemed very knowledgeable. He gave me advice, very professional, and was on time. I think very highly of them.

I had a leaky upright washer which via text back and forth A&S said was probably the bellows. When A&S arrived the tech determined the bellows to be ok but the glass on the door had an build up on it which was preventing the door from sealing. He charged me an $80 service fee which seems slightly high but he said in the event cleaning the glass did not fix the leak and he had to come back he would apply today's service fee to the cost of the repair. A less reputable tech could easily have replaced the bellows anyway and stuck me with a $200+ bill. Tech was prompt, professional, and best of all honest! I will call A&S for my future appliance repair needs.

Turns out that our Kenmore *with bottom freezer) refrigerator is manufactured for Sears by LG. The coils are only accessible through the small freezer opening (the slide out door is not removable) on the bottom of the refrigerator. So Art had to get on his back and wiggle under the slider tracks and pull the ice maker off the side wall and the back panel off in the rear. His Freon sniffer tool found the leak right away. He was back when the part was delivered and went through the same procedures to install the part. He told us our options before continuing (repair or purchase). He gave us his estimate and made the repair with the final bill being less than his estimate. The labor involved moving the fridge (2x) removing paneling interior and exterior, removing and installing the coils, use of a torch for installation and removal and replacement of Freon. I was impressed by Art's practical knowledge of refrigeration and his knowledge of the product. I had given him the model number before he came out so he was prepared. He went right to the problem without wasted time like some techs who "shotgun" a problem because they don't know the mechanics or functionality of the appliance they're repairing. A skilled mechanic/tech AND honest.

The problem was a simple rewiring of a bad circuit. A snipe here and screw tigihten there...and it's was all done. Fixed. That's it. He could have told me anything and I would have totally belived him. He was the most honest repair person I have ever met.

This gentleman first did a verbal diagnosis by phone and decided it was best to order the part he suspected was not working, with the understanding that if that was not the problem it would be returned. This would save the cost of a second visit. He arrived with the part, but did a step by step test of the oven, explaining to me all the while what he was looking for. In the end the part was clearly needed and he installed the part. It could have possibly been another part, but any of those he had in his own stock, if needed. He then further explained how we could determine if the oven temperature is less than perfect and told me how to re-calibrate it for better baking results.

I called Art to fix my mother's drier. He came exactly when he said he would and quickly fixed the problem. This was my mother's drier--she's 88--and the next day drying clothing she said the drier wasn't heating. I contacted Art and he came back out to check on it this morning, Saturday. Turns out she had it on air fluff. Art was very nice about it, didn't charge us anything for the extra trip. I would definitely recommend him.

Art had to order a part but was back in two days with the new part. As he worked he showed me what he was doing and explained every step he was taking and answered any question I had. He was efficient and yet he took the time to make sure it worked - & it did! Have used Art earlier for a dishwasher repair which is still working. Saved us $2000 for new refrig because our 12 y/o unit is working just fine! Thanks to Art Freeman.

you showed up on time, diagnose the problem, and gave us a positive experience others I called either couldn't come the same day for didn't answer the phone. With a broken refrigerator, food spoils. So, it was good that he can come the same day.
