Description of Work: I used them for a washing machine; it turned out after a few visits the part was no longer made. The contractor found a company that would rebuild it after a few months. The entire processes took around 4 months and required me to contact the provider several times for updates. I can not honestly recommend this company.

Description of Work: We were happy with the quality of work and the cost for completing the job. Art was successful in diagnosing the problem over the phone so he came prepared with the correct replacement part. Needless to say, that was impressive! We haven't had any more problems and will use Art again should other problems occur.

Description of Work: This is he second time I have used A&S and could not wish for a better experience. Based on my description of the problem and the identification of my appliance he had a quote to me within 10 minutes which included parts and labor. He came the next day with the proper parts. Price was better than two other quotes.

Description of Work: We have used this repairman on 3 different occasions: 10/2014 & 9/2015 for repairs to freezer/frig, and 10/2015 for dishwasher repair on our rental property. He was prompt, courteous, and I believe fair with his pricing. I would highly recommend Art Freeman.

Description of Work: Replaced circuit board in refrigerator and diagnosed freezing problem in freezer door. Suggested way of correcting freezing problem without having to replace the entire door. Art is very knowledgeable about appliances and a very honest business man. We highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Art was prompt, responsive knowledgeable and fair. He diagnosed the problems with my refrigerator and gas dryer. He carefully evaluated before replacing a part on the dryer and performed a simple repair on the refrigerator. Both are now working very well.

Description of Work: Thought we needed service on ovens as they were under cooking. Art explained how the newer ovens take 25 to 45 minutes to preheat despite what the readout says. He had me go through a preheat cycle with oven thermometers and he was right on that it takes a lot of time to preheat. No wonder a lot of dishes were not cooked

I am happy to report my experience with A&S Appliance Repair. As soon as my washing machine stopped draining and making a strange humming noise I turned to Angie's List for assistance. My call to A&S was immediately answered and the repair was completed before noon the next day. He was quite knowledgable and able to complete my repair on the spot without additional expensive parts, etc. And at $60 (to include service time) it was less expensive than utilizing my home warrenty. I could not be more pleased. Thank You for getting my washer back up and running!

I contacted several appliance repair technicians when my daughter's dryer went out. My daughter lives in Riverview, FL, I live in GA but I was visiting. Art was the only one I felt that was truly honest with me on the phone initially. Others had advised me it would be a minimum of $85.00 to fix. He came out quickly and fixed the dryer and charged me less than what others were saying the minimum was. He was very courteous and professional. I gave his business card to both of my parents. That evening my fathers refrigerator went out. We contacted Art that Friday night and he came out first thing Saturday morning for my father. I will be writing a review for that visit as well.

We happen to use Art the day before for my daughter's dryer and because of his honesty, I advised my dad to contact him for services when his refrigerator went out on a Friday evening. I had contacted Art after 8pm on Friday night, he called me back within 30 min of my call. He came out Saturday morning and fixed my fathers refrigerator and was very reasonable with his cost. He appears to be an honest, hardworking gentleman. I have given his card to all of my family in the Tampa area.

I called at 11:00 AM this morning (Saturday) and he was here about 15 minutes later. Very courteous, to the point, quickly discovered the problem and told us that our make and model has had a lot of the same kind of problems. He made a phone call to an associate and found out that the part we needed was on back order until March. With the parts and labor costs, the fact that it has been doing a really bad job at getting our dishes clean (build-up in Florida water destroys motors), he recommended that we buy a new one. Fast, professional, knowledgable and inexpensive.
Description of Work: Our dishwasher is beginning a cycle and then switching to "rinse only" every time. After troubleshooting, Art quickly discovered that the electronics had a short.
