This is one pest control company to stay far away from. I have been trying to collect money for damages for months and the check is always in the mail?? Fred Holt, Manager at the Winter Haven Office agreed to the damages and said they would pay for the plants, he has done nothing but blow smoke and has been an unbelievable pain in the a-- to work and communicate with. He is trying his best to NOT pay for landscape damages his company did to newly landscaped property. I will have to take other action against this company. They will not get away without paying for the damages they did. They also let this house be eaten by drywood termites for almost 20 years. My Great Aunt (98 years old) had an annual contract for all those years and the losers never found the drywood termites because they rarely, if ever inspected her home the way it was supposed to be inspected. They thought they could take advantage of an elderly woman, and they did. She trusted them to do they're job. After she passed away all the damage was discovered. There are tens of thousands of dollars in damage which two other pest control companies told us termites had been active for about 20 years in this home!! This is a horrible company, who just takes your money then leaves your largest investment, your home, to be destroyed by their incompetence and laziness. Her contract was not transferrable or I would have sued their pants off. I will not quit fighting this company for the small amount of landscaping damage they did ($112.00) it is the principle of it at this point and their unethical business tactics to and elderly woman. Terminix is not to be trusted!!

the actual service was completed satisfactorily. their biz administration is a nightmare. how can you run a company this way?? they show up unannounced, they don't show up when they re scheduled, their main office has the phone skills of a 4 year old.

Unclear whether the Terminix I had was "of Newburgh," since when you call you get into a nationwide system. Required annual contract, smelled wrong at the time, now I know better. Several visits by various staffers, some came as promised and some not at all. Problem is not solved.

Could never get them to actually show up. Had an appointment scheduled for a Wednesday afternoon after hearing some noise in a wall and no one ever showed. Called up and found out my appointment was moved to Thursday afternoon without my knowledge. The supervisor I spoke to said she made a note on my file and promised someone would be there on Thursday. Well, Thursday afternoon no one showed up again. Called again and found my appointment was moved to Friday morning once again without my knowledge. They couldn't get anyone out on Thursday so I cancelled my service, since I didn't really want to be stood up again on Friday morning. No one on the phone seemed to know why appointments were being rescheduled without notice to the customer and never even offered anything to make up for the scheduling incompetence. I would encourage others to avoid Terminix so their time isn't wasted like mine was.

They always come when we need them. Anytime I've needed anything unusual while they are there, they do anything they can to accommodate me. I would like them to allow their technicians to work on problems that are on a second story. We have a three story wooden house and they won't go up and deal with bee nests we have up high. I have to call another exterminator to take care of that issue.

We are very pleased with their service. We have had them for many years, at least 20 years now! They are keeping us free of termites! They come whenever we want them to between services and they always call ahead to give us a time frame.

We are very pleased with them! We find the pricing to be fair and very comparable. We had a service previous to using them. We had a problem with mostly carpenter ants since moving into our home 40 years ago and since using Terminix the problem has been eliminated.

I have been with Terminix for at least 5 years! They could make sure I'm here when I'm coming. I would also like them to spray inside as well and check for rodents.

We have been hiring them since the mid-1980's. Staying with them provides a guarantee. Everything is fine!

They kept re-sending a yearly bill over the course 2-3 years when I was never customer. I would send the bill back and say I was never a customer. I work from home and I know they never came out. I eventually got them to stop sending the bill, but they should have resolved this the first year it happened. Their quality of work may be fine, but I never hired them.

I loved Terminix! I used them for decades, before I moved into an apartment. They always called the day before to make sure someone was going to be home and if it was convenient and they'd give us a 2 hour time frame of when they'd arrive. The technician who used to come out, his name was Henry, was so caring and nice. Even our dogs loved him. He went above and beyond. He would find dead mice in our basement and dispose of them even though he wasn't paid to do that. I remember one time Henry was sick and another technician came out who was just as nice!

We have been with them for about 15 years. They have done very well for us. It's about $300/year which I feel is high.

They are very good! I have been with them for years now! The cost is about $400 for a yearly contract plus about $115 per visit. They did not charge me for the bees though because that is apart of my contract.

They are fine. They have been coming for a long time and their pricing has gone up. We told them we were thinking about finding a lower priced service provider and they lowered it back down so I feel that was fair.

We have a rolling contract for the year. We have been with them for a few years now. They are very prompt and seem to be careful.

We have used terminix for termite treatment for several years on a plan. Always thought they were a little overpriced but seeing other prices for pest control on here are reasonable. Even with termite bates updated and checked a few times a year we have had termites come back into the basement beams and we call them and they usually come the next day to spray and treat the area and haven't had a problem since with termites. We still see them in our backyard dead tree though. This summer we found carpenter ants around the same location in the basement beams so we called them and they came the next day to spray and treat the area and all around the basement and treat around the outside of the house also. We signed up for a yearly contract for that as well they come back once a quarter to re-treat. A few days after the treatment we still found a decent amount of alive ants running around but now they are starting to dwindle in numbers and found mostly dead so I think it is working. None found upstairs so far anymore. Overall we are happy with their service and the guy is very friendly. I think our terminix is based out of newburgh office though.

They sold me on this huge plan and I ended up not having termites, but ants instead! If I would've had termites, their price was average. I feel like they tried to take advantage of me.

I haven?t been very happy with them. Their communication is really bad. They come on the dates they are not scheduled. They show up when they are not supposed to. I had a contract for this past year which is ending next week. It would be the last service for doing the outside of the house for carpenter ants to make sure we don?t have them again in the spring. I pay them too much. It is $92 every time and it is for every quarter. So, it is $368 for the whole year. They had offered to do things inside the house. We have a cat with cancer and I have got a lot of allergy. So, I really didn?t want them to spray a lot of chemicals inside and that?s why they didn?t do a whole lot inside. Even when they come for spraying outside, it is like they are here for 5 minutes to 10 minutes and they are out of here. It is kind of ridiculous for the amount of money I pay. The biggest problem I have had is their lack of communication within the company with each other. I had somebody show up couple of weeks ago and I had rescheduled. He didn?t show up on the original schedule day, but he showed up on another day. I was actually in bed with bad back trying to get better. He insisted on coming in anyway. He wanted to go down to the basement to check some traps for mice and I had told them that there weren?t any mice down there. So, that was very annoying and he was only here for about five minutes. A few days later when my daughter went back to work she found a bill at the door of the garage for $92 and that was not pleasant. So, I called the company and complained. They told me to tear up that bill and also said that they would go ahead with the reschedule on the 14th of March, which is when he should have come. So, they apologized and I again got a bill on Saturday. I still haven?t called them back because I don?t want to deal with them again. I think they are way overpriced. They got rid of the carpenter ants and that was my main concern. They also sprayed in the summer for some bees that I had a problem with out on the patio, but the bees came back. So, they didn?t do a whole lot of good job. They weren?t responsive to me. They are not doing what they say they are going to do. They don?t come when they are supposed to. They are not listening to me. They are not talking to one another because the guy who showed up this last time said that nobody told him that the schedule had been changed. They come at the time when they say they are coming, but it will be on the wrong day. I don?t think that is good. They always come, but they don?t come when they are supposed to come. I think they are pretty professional when they are here. I have been putting it off. I don?t want to call them again. I just assume that everything is computerized. She might have put it in the computer not to charge me because the serviceman was not supposed to come on a particular day and to charge me after March 14th or 15th. So, I suppose I am going to get charged again after the March visit. I will have two payments at that time and it just makes me angry. I would definitely not use their services again.
