Description of Work: With my quarterly pest control treatment of my home Terminix has done well. The difficulty with this company is the continual increase in cost of service. Due to my fixed income, I no longer use their service.

Description of Work: Have had them for many years for pest control and termite protection. Frankly, I think they are a bit expensive but their service is excellent. Appointments are set but often the technician is EARLY. To me, an appointment time/timeframe is just that (ACTUALLY, I believe that this is NOT the technicians fault, but the office that schedules his/her daily worklist). If I need to address a specific issue (only occasionally) and require the tech to come INSIDE the house, I don't want to be a "hostage" by having to be here when I don't need to because of their preselected schedule. In any case, they are VERY responsive if I call for additional treatment/issues.

Description of Work: We have yearly contracts for sub and airborne termites as well as pest control. The technicians are almost always exceptional in service, professionalism and punctual. The office is lacking however. Using their automated system is a joke, errors on our bills, i feel like no one on the office knows (or cares) what's going on. We stay with them for several reasons, the cost of initial treatment to switch companies, they respond quickly, the personnel who show up are almost always great....and our contact was written when they offered a replacement guarantee on any new termite damage. I would recommend them if you are willing to keep an eye on your bills and stay on top of what should be done. This year we paid for both termite contacts but got only a cursory inspection. Still superior tho most companies we had experience with prior to hiring them many years ago.

Description of Work: Outside pest control. Went very well. Service was on time and did very good job. A have annual termite control plan. I do have a question. If pay annually, does the inside and outside pest control come under the annual plan or must it be paid as work is accomplished on a quarterly basis?

Description of Work: Inspected for termites.He didn't find any !! Their guarantee is untested ( here)re the terminex treatment since they haven't found anything yet.

Description of Work: An annual termite inspection. Problem #1: there were termite posts which were not accessed to determine if there was any termite activity and Problem #2: their report does not give you a summary report of the findings. I've complained twice but nothing has changed.

Description of Work: They sprayed the perimeter of the house for pests. I have been using Terminix for the past 13 years and I am satisfied with their work.

Description of Work: I have 2 contracts: 1 for termites is annual and 1 for pest control is monthly. Service on 9/8 was exterior pest control. Whether they do interior depends on my request. Individual employees of Terminix are always on time, reliable, professional, neat and knowledgeable about pests and pesticides. This is important because we have a Florida Friendly Yard, a portion of it is a Florida Wildlife Habitat and we have 3 feral cats in the yard. Price is somewhat high and the Terminex call center operation is not the best -- can't speak to your service manager or service tech directly and people are not customer oriented. We have used Terminix, despite the shortcoming, since we bought the house in 1987.

Description of Work: They come & spray my perimeter of house & pool every 3 months. They will come inside if asked but I do not have any problems inside. I have used them for 9 years but I am thinking about checking out other people because I have rate increase of $11.00 next service date. I think that is too much to pay for 1 visit every 3 months.

Description of Work: We have an annual contract with Terminix for pest control in the house. They come quarterly to spray around the house and once annually to spray within the house. If insects are found in the house that are alive and having fun Terminix will return to spray with the house without any extra fee. However, I have come to see, over the years in which I have used their service, that there are more insect infestations within the house than there were 5 years ago. I must wonder if they have either weakened the chemicals used or switched to less expensive and less effective chemicals.

Description of Work: They have worked for us for years both in regular pest control and in responding when there is any suggestion that there might be termites and exterminating the termites. They are punctual and thorough. We have several services year round from them including insurance for treatment if termites harm anything.

Description of Work: Termite damage was found in December 2013, and was not repaired until Feb. 2014. Repairs were done the quickest and least expensive way. Repairs are adequate and was covered under the warranty with no cost.
