Description of Work: We have had an annual contract for termites for several years with Terminix. It costs us less than 300 a year, and they guarantee no termites. If any are found, they will come and re service the area at no extra charge and if necessary, repair the area. They come out annually to do a full house check to ensure no evidence of termites are found. We have been quite satisfied with this arrangement, and as such, have renewed our contract annually.

Description of Work: This was the service for bugs and they sprayed outsde. They always ask if there is a problem inside and if there is, they come in and take care of it. |Everything went well. I had no inside problems.

Description of Work: We have used Terminix for a number of years now and they have been very responsive to our requests in between scheduled services. there is no extra charge for adhoc service requests. However recently their prices have increased quite a bit and having second thoughts.

Description of Work: I have used Terminix for 10 years. I pay $400 annually for the termite bait program. They are great at coming out and performing the needed services. I also use them for the General Pest Control. The General Pest Control is in addition to the Terminix termite service. The General Pest Control is $413.00. The contracts renew at different times of the year. The total amount I spend for Terminix for the termite bait program and the pest control program is $813.00.

Description of Work: That home is a rental and we are putting it on the market as of June 1st and therefore won't be using Terminix at this particular address. |However, we do use them at our home address in Ocala and will continue the service in Ocala. |

Description of Work: I use TERMINIX for pest control, subterranean termite protection, and dry wood termite protection. Their service is outstanding!! I think that their prices (for a L O N G term customer, over 15 years) are a bit high (even though I have no comparison figures) but I will stay with them for now.

Description of Work: I was in the process of selling my home. The inspector found termite damage. |I called Terminix with whom I has had a contract for 20 years since they took over my Sears account. After 2 phone calls, they sent out the regular inspector who agreed I had termite damage, but said it was old damage & would not be covered. I told him I had had Terminix for years, but he was very surly & told me it was not under their warranty. I called the manager of the local outlet who assured me he would come out himself. After another 2 weeks of calling, I learned that he had left the company & the new manager was swamped because he now had 2 departments to run. He did finally come out & agreed it was Terminix's responsibility. But he did not call me back to set up an appointment with a contractor. The bottom line is that it took 4-1/2 months & weekly phone calls with the national office, the national customer care department (who didn't call me back after for weeks, they told me to call back to give updates) & the local office. I finally was put in touch with the regional trouble shooter, Marty, who began to get things done & actually called me back to check on the status of things.He was wonderful & is probably the only reason I did not give Terminix an "F". |My contract covered repairs as well as treatment. I read online that there were numerous complaints against the company & their guarantee. They did come through for me eventually, but it was totally through my persistence that I got the help I needed. If I had not instituted calls weekly (& sometimes daily), I am not sure whether I would have ever gotten my service. I put the $300 as cost of service, but that is the annual fee for inspection & treatment. The actual repairs cost me nothing. |I was going to file a lawsuit the day the regional trouble-shooter called me back, so I did not have to go that far. |I have since moved & am not using Terminix, but I would consider it again because of their repair guarantee. However, it was so hard to get them to follow through on their end of the bargain, that I do not recommend it unless you have a lot of time to nag them (& threaten).

Description of Work: have had a contract with Terminex for years; always do a good job. Call a couple of days before they come out, and do a great job of treating the perimeter of our house. If we see any bugs after a week, we are to call them back for a retreatment-no additional charge. If we ever need service inside, they ask that you call them to schedule it. We will continue to use their service.

Description of Work: Service technician outstanding. Local office unresponsive. Could not solve rat infestation problems for three years. Had to have a cabinet replaced and other repairs. Got somebody else to come in and take over extermination .

Description of Work: Just had the quarterly visit for my yearly pest control. we also have both types of termite protection plans. All in all we spend a ton of money with terminix, and while I have no complaints about the services provided the price seems pretty expensive for what we get. And now I learn they are going up $6.00 a visit ($24 a year just on the pest control portion).

Description of Work: I have had two problems with Terminex. The service has been fine and I don't have bugs, but they could not get their messaging correct about appointments. I would get postcards and phone messages that someone was coming and no one would show up. I could not deal with both the pest account and the termite account online. The accounts were not linked. |Also, they are way overpriced for the amount of time they are at my house. I need to find another service provider.
