Description of Work: The inspector came, on time, and inspected the whole house and grounds. They were on time and worked efficiently and closed areas of the roof that were open to outside intrusions of birds and rodents. They arranged a full insulation of the ceiling and closed air intrusions, they sprayed areas around the outside of the house and placed poison traps at 8 ft intervals around the whole house. They then came back to assure that the work that they had accomplished was working for us. It was and we are pleased with the results.

Description of Work: sprayed for bedbugs. I don't know if don't have enough people on the payroll or what. Our tech was very good but always late. the office would tell us he'd be out here around 3 or 4 pm and would show up anywhere between 6 and 9 pm. He was way over booked. I ended up throwing out the living room furniture and cutting it with a box cutter so no one would take it. It was a horrible experience, the bugs not Terminix. I would use them again.

Description of Work: I used this company for pest control. They don’t do what my current company will do. They sprayed the inside initially but after that they only sprayed the outside once every other month. They didn’t seal anything up nor did they sweep away any cobwebs outside.

Description of Work: We have wood bugs and they will bore into the wood and needed them to come out a few times. The first guy, I told him to go around the house and please see if there are more, at which he said there wasn't any more. within in two weeks I saw more. The second guy saw even more than I did and seemed to know where to look. Hopefully we are done with the little buggers!

Description of Work: Terminex is my termite prevention provider - we are contracted with them for annual inspection after having an initial treatment of our house and tent on our barn for dry-wood termites. They come once a year and inspect inside and out and advise if anything needs to be done. We did have an infestation one year in our laundry room and they promptly took care of the infestation and caulked the area that was allowing the adults to gain entry. We did not have any damage.

Description of Work: We have a termite bond with Terminix which we pay for annually. Terminx takes it upon themselves to just show up to do the inspection. We are not notified in any way. What we have experienced in the past is we are either not home, or we have a situation where we can't let them in the house, so the only inspection we ever get is the outside inspection. This happened again this year. My husband submitted a formal complaint with Terminx (which he has done before) about the lack of notification. Terminx doesn't even have the decency to respond.

Description of Work: I renewed my annual termite protection plan. They scheduled an appointment for my annual termite inspection without contacting me to see if it was convenient. I had to reschedule it. I used their online service. They rescheduled it again, so I called and rescheduled it at a time I could be there. The inspector finally came and did the inspection. He did not seem as through as some of the others I have had in the past.

Description of Work: This was our usual yearly Termite inspection. The first inspection was just on the outside and they had to come back to do the insidel It is often a bit of a challenge to get to the right office to schedule an apptmt according to my schedule but they are always courteous and professional. Would recommend them to others.

Description of Work: I have an ongoing Terminix contract for annual termite inspections along with a warrantee for repairs if termite damage is discovered. I had a carpenter ant infestation in one section of our house and paid to have Terminix come by to inspect and treat. We signed up for quarterly treatments for outside pest control. The company representative on the phone and the very professional and upbeat, even entertaining technician, seemed to indicate this would include protection for carpenter ants. Then when I got the paperwork, I noticed several places that indicated carpenter ants were NOT included, that carpenter ant infestation and problems were an exception, an exclusion. This was different from my understanding in the beginning of the process. When I called, the Terminix customer service rep on the phone seemed confused, and didn't understand why our paperwork didn't include carpenter ant protection. This was understandably frustrating, finding out that the company that agreed to treat carpenter ants offered us a plan costing about $600/year (about $150 per quarter) for automatic quarterly treatments, etc., couldn't explain the situation. We finally decided to cancel the carpenter ant "outside pest control" contract before the first followup quarterly treatment, due soon. We'll deal with it ourselves or find a small local company if we have such a problem again. But we are keeping the termite plan. Another issue is that we have a pet bunny and didn't want spraying in areas frequented by the bunny. The technician said no problem and we showed him where we wanted him to avoid, patio and part of the yard. OK. But there was still a fairly good spray job done along the edge of the patio by the door. I guess after it dried, not a big problem, but we wouldn't be talking with future technicians, who would just come by quarterly and do their thing.
