Terminix - Tampa -Termite & Pest Control

We had a problem with bugs. Terminix came out and sprayed. They are always very responsive, and their price is fair.

We are on a contract with them, so they come about every couple of months and spray for bugs and they do termite control twice a year. They are very very easy to deal with and when we call and we give them a situation they are here. They will settle us in when they are here. They are really excellent when it comes to that. When they get here they do a thorough job. I think they are competitive on price. We would absolutely continue to use them in the future.

I think I pay them quarterly and I don’t know how much I pay them. They do a good job. They let me know before they come. They come on the day they say they’re coming. If I have a problem, I can call them back and they come right out and fix the problem. I think they’re probably high with regard to price but I think they’re worth it.

They don't always answer their calls and I've heard from other people they aren't very good. They are okay on the exterior services, but for termite problems which I'm having in my house I'm not having many results. They come out and say they are treating it but then they show. I'm under contract and what I've heard that if they don't fix my problem then they are liable to fix all the damage in my house so from that regard I might have to use them.

They are very responsive and that’s the number thing about them. They are very responsive. We are on a monthly contract with them for a year. We will use their services again in the future.

It’s been an average experience working with them. They do good work.

They have been good and easy to work with. We have been satisfied with their service and we haven’t had any problems.

We have an annual contract with them. So, they come out on a regular basis to make sure that there are no problems. If we have a problem, they will come out. We pay $380 a year. We have kept using them because we don’t have any bugs now. They are courteous, professional and on time. There is no reason not to use them. They are excellent. We have had them since we have been here. Their price is reasonable. Their quality and responsiveness are both excellent. When it comes to their punctuality, they are always on time. I would definitely use them in the future too.

They will come out any time, you dont have to be home & they do a great job of keeping the bugs out.

They were on time and did a good job. They come out even in the middle of the month, in case of any problems. I like their services and will use the same in future.

Their treatments are very effective and I have no problem with ants or cockroaches inside the house. I also don’t have any termite problem. The technicians who come out to do the work are very good, very efficient and very friendly and they do a good job. I would rate them high overall. If I find someone very good then I would use them for a long time but if they aren’t then I would not employ them at all. I would continue to use Terminix in the future.

We had a year contract with Terminix for pest control and termite inspections. We lived with roaches the entire year because the technician we had only treated outside the house. Every time we called to complain, the technician would blame our septic tank for the roaches, saying roaches were coming in through the pipes. This was a blatant lie, but we weren't aware of that and we followed his recommendations to put down sewer treatment once per month. After three months of doing this, we saw no difference regarding the roaches, so we began putting the sewer treatment every two weeks. It didn't help with the roach problem either. When the contract year expired, we called for and asked for a refund because we lived with roaches for the entire year. They responded that they had fired our technician and that he had used that line about the septic tanks on several customers. They said they would give us six months of treatment for free. They didn't honor it. Will NEVER use them again.

They haven’t really had to do anything except inspections but I haven’t had any trouble. Each contract runs close to $200 and I suppose that is reasonable; I have never had a contract with anyone else so I can’t compare their price. The previous owner of the house had the contract and I just picked it up. They are diligent with their inspections and they were prompt about coming out to treat the area when we had evidence of termites. They have done everything that we have expected them to do. This last time they said they were coming out on Thursday and never showed, but they rescheduled for Saturday and came on time.

Great first experience. Jimmy was very prompt (30 min early), explained everything he was doing, and explained what would be done on subsequent visits.

Terminix was my pest control provider for for years with no issues. they switched the tech treating my house in 2009, when I signed a new contract. I had my house completed enclosed to prevent rodents from a private contractor. their termite guy removed part of the enclosure and broke it. Hence, rodents got in my attic again. they pest control guy could not figure out how to open my 1920 bungalow attic access and bent the attic covering and scraped up badly the 1920 plaster walls. He then informed me that until i provided him with better access, they were not treating the rodent problem that their termite tech caused. this went on for 6 months. I had to hire another provider to treat the problem and fix the damage to the house. They were AWFUL. the next provider told me I never had subterranean termites. the terminix guy sold it to me falsely

Put simply..'it did not go anywhere'. No service, absolutely upsetting. There's a $00.00 amount in this because I am too upset to mention the amount.

Midway through the contract they changed their program and will no longer use the same product spraying inside of the house. They are now using a little aersol can to spray inside the home that is completely ineffective. They go around your house spraying a little hear and a little there and it is not as thorough as what should be done. Also one tim I had to call them out and the tech that came was not able to navigate the attic to give a proper treatment. The last quarterly treatment they had equipment failure and couldn't give me a full a treatment. The tech said she would just spray the backpack sprayer and that would be sufficient, which it was not sufficient.

They came out and checked our insulation, took pictures, which revealed that we were extremely low on insulation. They recommended the pest control insulation, it also retards bug,s mice, rats, and other creatures from nesting there. They did a great job. Aaron was the sales person that took care of us. Their professionalism was amazing.

The orginal charge was 450.00. service provided was two traps, screen over the chase, lenght of service call was about 2 hours, part ot that time was spent waiting for the drill to charge since the battery was dead. The orginal claim was for rats, turned out to be squirrelsj. Never came back to pick up the traps. Many, many many phone calls later most never returned I spoke with Jason (somebody). He came down to 250.00 dollars. I felt this was truly unfair for the service performed. Learned a valuable lesson. I will never call them again. Waiting to see how charge goes thru on my credit card. It was set up for 450.00 dollars but will see if they submit the 250.00 dollar amount they later gave me. I told them that I wanted to pay for the service call, the rat traps, and screen over the chase but I truly felt that 250.00 dollars was a lot for that service. Will not be dealing with them in the furture

They've been fine, we've used them for years. I've got mixed feeling about them, they aren't the most professional, but I've got a contract with them.

They charge me on a quarterly basis. I have had them for a number of years. For many years there was Eddie, a service provider, who always came and he was excellent. I think he is retired. They come out, they do a good job, and I don't see any bugs. They are punctual. I have a contract with them which I renew annually. I will use them again in the future.

There was nothing that stood out about them. I didn?t use their services to get the work done.

They are fine. I like the way they work. He tells me what he is going to do before he does it. I don't follow him around the house. I spend $80 every three months. I think the price is a little too high. They are on a schedule. They are always here when they say they will be here. He sprays all around the outside of the house. He does a good job because we find dead bugs. The contract expires next year. I am going to review the contract and see what I can do regarding the price.

Pricing was available online upfront. I was able to schedule and pre-pay online. The appointment was available within a few days. Philip from Terminix showed up on time, when promised, and did an EXCELLENT job of thoroughly and carefully treating my entire house. It was such a pleasure compared with the disastrous services provided by JD Smith (see related Report) and he treated the interior and exterior and explained everything to me. I am so pleased to have signed uip with them and would recommend them to anyone.

We love terminex! They are very thorough in their checking both outside and inside and their fees are reasonable.
