|The owners/brothers, Tim and Gary, installed the equipment themselves. |I attained 5 other quotes from reputable local AC companies. |My husband and I figure we saved anywhere between $1500-$2500. |These guys were efficient, polite, clean, humble, knowledgable, generous. |They came back the next day and installed a new condensate pump per my husband's request and cleaned out the line for free. |We love family owned companies with low-overhead! It's the way to go when the company is reputable and been in business for a long time like this business. |We highly recommend these guys!

I would not recommend this company. The company came out in September rebuilt a fan then told me they were going to check over my system and "tune it up." Obviously, they didn't do a great job in looking at the system because 3 months later they came back and told me that the system was "rusted completely out" and the Freon leaked out. They charged me approximately 650 for the fix, then 3 months later, amazingly enough the system went down again. Needless to say I went with a different company for the repair this time. The new repair man said that the system was rusted and Freon leaked out. I do have to say that they are professional and courteous on the phone. They are quick to respond, and very polite, but we decided that we did not trust them to come back and complete the repair again.

My house is going through all the inspections for a pending sale. The inspector found a small leak in the attic from condensation leaking off one of the pipes.. The problem was resolved about an hour and a half after the discovery. That is what I call responsiveness. I've relied on Southern Comfort for 11 years as did the original owners. I've already reviewed them but since this is a new situation I felt that I ought to comment on their responsiveness.

I've had the best service from Tim and Gary since 2003, I believe. I'm bad with dates. The original owner put the A/C unit in service in 1984 and it wouldn't die. Southern Comfort serviced that A/C before I bought the house so they knew the unit. Finally in 2010 we replaced the unit and we do a service check each spring. I could list everything they checked but I can't read Tim's writing for a couple of things. Suffice it to say they are thorough. Great guys, great service and peace of mind for me. I have no problem recommending them. This year the City is giving a $50 credit if you have your A/C serviced. Tim told me about that or I wouldn't have had a clue. Sure enough, got the credit this month. Trust is a huge thing for me and I trust the brothers, Southern Comfort.
