Description of Work: Moved our household form Florida to NC, Very professional, punctual and competent. Recommended to a friend who was moving locally.

Description of Work: They helped me move the heavy stuff from our condo to our new house. They worked fast and hard and were careful with the furniture and walls. Very friendly.

Description of Work: The move went very well. I felt it took a while to load and the move could have happened faster. I had a problem with where I moved and had to move again a few days later. I wish they would have given me a better discount because I could have called someone else. The first move nothing was damaged. On the second move some things were damaged. They did their best to try and fix it or give me a gift card. Overall, a great smooth move and I would call them again in the future if they had a Angie's list coupon again.

Description of Work: I purchased a Bid Deal but unfortunately they couldn't get me scheduled on the date that I needed. They were friendly and informed to how to get a refund through Angie's List.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for $149 for $300 worth of moving services. There was a bit of confusion with the details of the deal. When I ordered this deal, it had said that the deal included three hours of moving with two guys and a truck. When the work was completed, they said there were additional costs. Overall, the crew did an excellent job with the work.

Description of Work: They gave me a bid for 400.00 and charge me 900.00 I complained we settled. They moved a one bedroom house and dble storage room and didn't finish. Broke my fence and didn't finish job. I had enough and paid them off.

Description of Work: We did our own packing. They came into Pittsburgh the night before the move, arrived early the next morning (Friday) and loaded the truck with furniture and boxes from the house and from a nearby storage unit. They drove over the weekend and delivered in Florida Monday morning. No breakage, no problems, no delays.Our older son, who stayed to supervise the move out was extremely impressed with their ability to get everything to fit into a 26 ft.truck. He said they were efficient and professional. We were pleased that we did not have to wait a week for delivery as is the case with many of the van lines. They finished on Friday, delivered on Monday. The move-in was as professional and efficient as the move-out We were a bit skeptical because of the name of the company and their nontraditional method of charging but we were persuaded by the many A ratings on Angie's list and we were very glad we chose them.

Description of Work: They guys were great, took extreme care in packing up our belongings and unpacking. They were 5 hours late due to complications with the move they were completing before ours. They did keep us posted the whole time they were delayed. I would use them again!

Description of Work: This company was very nice and professional, but they specialize in very personal in-Florida moves, and that wasn't what I was looking for. Because I was moving from Texas to Florida, the cost was prohibitive. If I were moving from place to place closer to their base of operation, I would certainly consider this company.

Description of Work: Two of the nicest guys arrived on time and immediately got to work. They were friendly, courteous and professional. Wrapped or blanketed all of my valuable furnishings and didn't scratch or damage anything. I thought the move would take longer, but they did it in 5 hours. With the Angie's List coupon it was an incredibly good deal. Would definition use them again.

Description of Work: Sent email with inventory of items to move with dates needed. After 24 hours and not hearing back I called. The girl was nice but not very professional. She had my email but had to call someone to get a "ballpark" quote. She called me back with a quote that was high compared to other quotes. I never received an official quote by email.

Description of Work: I thought that I was getting the internet special-2movers for three hours at $250 but when I said that I had not made a copy of the offer that it did not apply.So I paid $300 but forgot to ask for the senior discount of 20% which would have been less expensive.However the movers were very good so I feel it was worth it .Would definitely usa Smart Move again.Just be sure to ask for your discounts and make copies .

Description of Work: Two young men arrived on time and moved the large pieces of furniture. They were very careful and made sure everything was moved and put in to place correctly. They were VERY professional acting and dressed. I highly recommend this company and will use again.

Description of Work: I extremely pleased with Smart Moves! They showed up on time and finished my move in four hours (from a 2nd floor apt to a one story house). I was quoted $250 for the first three hours and $100 per hour over that. They sent two young guys that were very professional, courteous and cautious of my belongings. They even moved a love seat for me that I needed to move from my mother in laws house across the street into my new home. I couldn't ask for a better moving company and the rates are phenomenal and cannot be beat! I would highly recommend!
