Ferguson Construction & Aluminum

I spent about $4800. Originally it was suppose to cost $1500. I got an estimate from another person for the same type of windows and he was charging $7800. I didn't like that game that he played. But this company didn't do that. He was really nice, gave me a price and they put them in the following Friday. They came and fitted the windows in 2 days. The owners son is the worker. They took my blinds down and put them back up when they were done. They were so good. I called the owner himself and he was nice guy and told him I wanted the windows in by nest week because I wanted them in before my sister came. He told me that he will order them immediately and send out 3 or 4 guys if he has to to put them in. I called the day before to check if they were still going to come and he confirmed, they came and put them in within a day and a half and they were a nice company. I like that they're family owned and I like that down to earth kind of stuff. They would go out of their way to please their customer to make everything go smoothly for you.

They arrived on time, but as they encountered some shortcomings in the existing patio roof and drainage, they took one day longer than anticipated to complete the project. They were careful in handling the various plants and other patio and pool side furniture and equipment to ensure nothing was harmed and drop only a few pieces of metal clippings and screws in to the pool, which they fished out before leaving. Everything was returned to its original location and they cleaned the entire area, including the surrounding lawn of all debris. It could have not been more professionally done.

The construction of the project went very well. The problem is with follow up issues afterwards. For 2 months, I had called numerous times and either left messages or spoke with Steve. Promises were made to have someone stop by to repair a continued overflow/leaking of one of the rain gutters. The water was running off the roof past the guard that was placed at the corner of the gutter. This continuous running of water during heavy Florida rain storms, caused a 1 inch x 1 inch hole in our 8 month old concrete sidewalk. The reason for installing the rain gutters/downspouts was to prevent this from happening. It was very disappointing to see such lack of customer service after the project was completed. It is a shame, because our neighbors were very impressed with the quality of the screen room, but I cautioned them about the follow up customer service.

It went beautifully. This is the fourth project they have done for me. They do very professional work and in a time frame they promised. People will stop when they drive by just to tell me how beautiful the porch is. I look forward to doing business again with Ferguson Construction and Aluminum again in the future..

I was quoted a price & was contingent upon financing. Scheduled date & time for measurement of windows & no show, no call. After an hour & half I phoned to say I was not happy with the way they do business & there was no point to contact me further.
