+ 0 moreWe decided to upgrade the interior of our duplex to make it more appealing to buyers. We wanted to get rid of the popcorn ceilings and away from the white walls of a rental. We hired Custom Finishes and Renovations of Florida as we thought the price was outstanding. We did purchase the paints and the new ceiling light fixture and ceiling fan we needed. Also purchased a new range hood. Doug scraped both ceilings and refinished them plus painted them. He also had to patch certain places in the walls prior to painting everything. They are each just under 900 sq ft. He had to work around the new carpets going in so he was able to get done when we needed him to be finished with the paint. He is very handy and hung the range hood, ceiling fan, new dining room light and also all the new window blinds we bought. It looked so good after he was finished. It sold within 2 months!
Description of Work: Scraped ceilings and refinished them, general wall repair and interior painting throughout both sides of a duplex. Hung lights and fans.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. We were very pleased. He was very professional and had a great work ethic. He was always on time and often stayed late. He was willing to work around our schedule.
Description of Work: He was a subcontractor for a home remodeling company. He replaced and re-patched the drywall. He removed textured ceiling and re-applied the ceiling. He did crown molding throughout the whole house and new baseboards throughout the house. He removed the wall between the air conditioning closet and my bedroom closet and installed shelving and built a bookcase. He stained it and varnished.. He laid new laminate flooring. He replaced marble windowsill with a wood windowsill and hung a new ceiling fan. As a bonus he helped us move some of the furniture back into the rooms.
