They don’t make them like this guy anymore… He actually has Very High Standards. Exceptional Work Ethics. Is Very Knowledgeable. From phone call to finish, he is a truly an outstanding human. I called him, we scheduled for the next morning, he arrived on time, found the problem, fixed the problem (Can you believe that? He actually had the part with him.) Also unheard of anymore… He was in and out within 30 minutes. I just can’t say enough good about this guy. As long as he is in business, He will be our guy. Thank you so much kind sir. You are much appreciated by our family…

John is intelligent, witty, and the consummate appliance repairman. We talked to him about repairing our refrigerator. At first, he said he couldn’t come until Monday(this was Saturday). He called us back and said he would be here shortly. He diagnosed the problem, had the part on his truck, and he had the refrigerator fixed within a half hour. Can’t thank him enough.

John Sulikowski is a consummate repairman. He is skilled, experienced, educated, and intelligent - a rare combination. He is also honest. My 22-year-old refrigerator stopped working. I found "Budget Appliance Repair" on line, and called this morning. John said he could be here this afternoon, and was able to get here sooner than I expected. He asked for my description of the problem, issued a likely diagnosis (bad temperature control), and then confirmed it. Not having this particular part with him (no surprise, since my fridge is 22 years old) he offered to bypass the control to allow my refrigerator to function until he could get the part, within a week. He quoted me a reasonable price and I happily agreed. John is of a vanishing breed. He knows his job and gives honest assessments. If you'd be better off getting a new unit, he'll tell you. If he can't fix your particular problem, he'll try recommend someone who might be able to. I instantly felt comfortable with him, and was impressed with both his demeanor and his candor. I am thrilled to have found him, and will not hesitate to call on him again. 5 STARS.

I called to get a price on parts and labor. He sounded condescending I was asking and came across insultingly. I eventually got the information I needed from him. Thanked him for his time and ended to the call.

I personally felt a little uncomfortable around him. My husband was here the first time, and my son was here the second time. I didn't feel like he was a bad guy, but he was closer to my age and he seemed to want to talk to me more than I preferred. The work and the price was good, though.

We always use Budget Appliance Repair. I have no idea what the address is. I only have the guy's phone number. He is a retired shop teacher. He used to teach in New Jersey. What I like about him is that I don't think there is anything he couldn't fix. He reminds me of my dad. He is a physicist. The last time the gasket in my washing machine ripped. I called him and explained to him what was wrong with it. He told me not to have him come out because it would be $200.00 for him to buy a new gasket and install it. He said at that price I might as well buy a new washing machine. He told me what to buy at the hardware store because he knows I am a handy person that fixes everything myself and if I can't and then I call him. He told me what to go and buy and fix it myself and to patch it. He told me to go and buy a new washing machine when the patch finally blew a couple of times because it's not really worth to buy a new gasket. He has definitely got my best interests in mind. It's been 2 years now that I have made the washing machine last. He definitely is a budget guy and he is not cheating about the appliances. I completely trust him. He was training some guy the last time he was here fixing our refrigerator and I watched him fix it. He was explaining to the guy the history of how the different machines were made and the parts that were made by different companies. He just knows his stuff and he is very friendly. He is in his 60s so I am hoping he doesn't ever retire. It's just one guy, but he knows everything about every appliance. I never spend more than $150.00 when he comes. The labor is never very much. Most of the cost is in the parts. He saves you money on the parts. If he has a used part in his truck, he will use that and save me a lot of money.
