+ -1 moreMany pieces were damaged. My mother submitted honest & detailed claims form. She submitted receipts & photos. We were passed from Lakeland to St. Louis. They took no responsibility for any of the damages. Several of which are antiques that cannot be repaired or replaced. They have taken advantage of my elderly parents who were moving to a retirement community. PLEASE DO NOT USE Browning Moving & Storage.
Description of Work: Moving my elderly parents from FL to NC.

Description of Work: They did absolutely NOTHING. We had United Van Lines move us in the past and it was a great experience so we called Browning Moving to get a bid from them for our upcoming move. The Client Services Manager came to our house in the Fall of 2014 to meet with us and give us an idea of the approximate cost. She said she would get back to us with more detailed information and detailed costs, but after we made several calls to her and e-mails we did not hear back from her. We even called the manager of Browning who then had her call us right away. We last spoke to her on the phone in Jan and she was suppose to get back to us, but never did. And again we called and left messages with both her and the office and we never heard from her again. What a terrible moving company!

Description of Work: Constant complaining by the driver about the weight and the price we were charged. Plus items lost and broken.....did not report because I knew it would just be more hassle.

+ -1 moreMy wall and my bedroom furniture was a mess they did damage to the door ways and I need to have someone in to fix them, the house is brand new and the guys moving the furniture in had no idea how to move furniture around corners and thru door ways and openings it was something as they tried to ram the furniture thru the opening I had to stop them they knew they were destroying my door frame and kept ramming it, they put grooves and scratches on my furniture and thank good ness it was black and I could touch it out but you can see the grooves in it still. I would never hire them again, they never even called to see how things went and it we were pleased so never again would I ever use them or recommend them. they never fallowd thru to see how things went...Poor business choice! They came to our townhouse in 5386 River Rock Rd. Lakeland, Fl. 33809 to 2159 Iveywood Street The Villages, Fl. 32163 You ask where the work was preformed and it was both places so we couldn't put in both addresses which doesn't make sense. Description of Work: They were all nice guys and they worked fast but they didn't have a clue how to move furniture in and out of a house it was awful to see them ramming the furniture and not maneuver the furniture around things...for example: they could of taken the dresser in and stand it up on end in the hall way and then bring it down to go thru the door way but instead they kept trying to make a long dresser and make a turn they couldn't make and instead of stopping they kept ramming it till I said stop this isn't good you are destroying my walls and door ways...just not good!! NEVER again would I have them. They are poor in calling to see how things went and that isn't right they should of followed up and didn't and I think that is poor service they surely didn't have a problem calling when they wanted you to use their service.

+ -1 moreThey were tremendous and really good to deal with. It was a difficult and complicated move and there were some signal cross. They did a good job in a tough situation.
