STORMSHIELD PROTECTION CORP

They made a sketch of the work they were going to do. The doors were different than what the original sketch showed. When I called it to their attention, I didn't get any reaction from them. We called them and they became very very nasty and insulting. We actually deducted money from the payment and got no feedback from them. The guy who originally sold it to us came to the house to see if the doors were different and he became very nasty. He said they changed the rules about the doors, but nobody had told me anything about it. I have since had a problem with rain leakage, they came and said they couldn't do much. I do not recommend them!

We had to split our hurricane shutter costs over two years. We ordered half of our shutters. I had to chase down my order. I left messages, and didn't get calls returned. One day a woman answered the phone and told me she was on her lunch hour and to call back later. I had to act as my own project manager to make sure that the process wasn't stuck. On the up-side, the installer was on the ball. He worked quickly and did a good job. Earlier this year, we called to order another shutter. We were told that the order was too small to deal with (they had a $2000 minimum). Nevermind the fact that we had already spent several thousand dollars with them the year before. The other day, I laughed when I found my Stormshield Protection Corp preferred customer card. We had to find another vendor for the remaining shutters (less money, btw). I just wanted to let people know what to be aware of when dealing with Stormshields.
