Pool Master Maintenance & Repair

Stephen did a great job replacing my pool pump. I called him yesterday, he diagnosed the problem over the phone at which time I sent him my contact information. I came home from work today and the pump was already installed. You don't get service like that anymore. Some of my other equipment is rather old. When it is time for replacement Stephen will be the one I call.

Steven the owner gave me an estimate and did the install and very nicely explained how it works and what I was supposed to do. the system is working beautifully and I trust that Steve will show up should I need him for anything. a job well done. and a very happy!

The job went very well. Stephen responded quickly to my phone inquiry, explained the options and listened to what I wanted. He helped me select the right heater, ordered it that day and installed it a couple days later. He cleaned up the area around where the work was done and instructed me on how to use the new heat pump. I really liked working with Stephen and highly recommend him. I ended up with a real top-of-the-line heater, which is why the price was high, but it was very competitive in comparison to online pricing of that specific heat pump.

I have never been more pleased with the Service received by Pool Master. Even with a Hurricane just passing he was able to help me in getting my pool pump installed in a timely matter. Great. Steve deduced that the salt cell was probably bad. He recommended that I take the cell to have it checked. It was confirmed at a pool store that the cell was bad, as Steve indicated. He refused to accept money from me for his service. This was the second time that he had refused to be compensated by me for his troubles. The first time was about a year prior. He was not anyone I had known prior. He is just a fair and honest businessman.

Steve was awesome. I consider myself a mechanically inclined person and in the past I've replaced my pool motor when needed. Due to severe spine issues I am no longer able to handle these types of activities. That said I could tell immediately when talking to Steve that he was someone who knew his stuff. When I called Steve I was hoping to get the problem fixed within a week if I was lucky. Well danged if Steve was not physically in my back yard that evening troubleshooting the problem. In fact by the time I knew he was there he had fixed part of the issue with air in the lines. We discussed the pump issue, and Steve noted that the motor was essentially on its last leg. We then discussed options. I'm the type of person who will typically buy the biggest and baddest solution available. Steve could have easily sold me a motor and fittings that would have added another $300 to the cost, but he did not. In fact he talked me out of it telling me it would be overkill. In my book HONESTY is something you cannot put a price on, and with that Steve earned my utmost respect. In addition, Steve went above and beyond and rather then having to wait a week for a new motor to be ordered, he worked his contacts and was able to install the pump the next day. To top it off, while replacing the motor Steve found that the inside gaskets had melted and were causing a loss of water. Fortunately Steve had the forsight to have the extra part available just in case. Steve was kind enough to leave all the replace parts so I could see all the damage myself. I'd give Steve an A ++. He's now in my iPhone contact lists and will be my "go to" person for anything pool related. Steve also took the time to explain to my wife and myself in depth how to best use pool chemicals and educated us on things we were not aware of. Basically a free private training session on how all the various chemicals react with each other. I usually do not write reviews, but Steve was so professional, with customers best interests driving his decisions and actions, and above all honest. I now feel like I have not only a superstar I can rely on to fix my pool, but a friend who I could call if I had a boneheaded question about my chemicals. If you need work done on your pool look no further then Steve. Long story short, Steve had my issue fixed less than 24 hours from my call.

He called me back immediately, and he was able to talk me through fixing the problem. It ended up not being anything structural, but we would have sat with our pool not running all weekend and paid a fee for a visit on Monday.

Stephen of Pool Masters went out of his way to fit me in to repair my broken pool pump after the Memorial Day Weekend. He came to my house after working hours to repair my pool pump. He provided me with repair options and did not try to get me to pay for more equipment then what I actually needed repaired. I would strongly recommend Pool Masters for pool repairs.

They quickly figured out the issue and resolved it quickly. Brian also showed me how to operate my variable speed pump and explained the equipment. Very helpful.

After selecting Mr. Rovnyak as my first choice because of a near perfect Angie's rating and Super Service awards, I found out he does not service Loxahatchee for weekly maintenance. But he was congenial and professional enough to ask about the problem I had with my previous service when they acid washed my pool, and the paint peeled off 1 1/2 weeks later! He took the time to explain the different coatings and got the phone number of an expert. In our 15 conversation, he evidenced a love to solve professional problems, and was willing to help a caller who was not in his service area, even as he had to dodge falling palm fronds without benefit of a hard hat!. His maintenance charges were in line with what regular providers would charge

I was worried that the replacement would be noticeable but the technician replaced all the pavers and it came out perfect. Plus, no more leaking. Well done.

I called Steve and he quickly answered to give me a price to replace my pool pump. He did have to reschedule to arrive the next day but he was prompt in the morning. New pump is running quietly and appears to be just what was needed.

Steve was great!! Just purchased a home with a salt water pool and needed additional education on proper maintenance and upkeep. He labeled and explained how to operate the pool return and filter system. Steve really enjoys his work and sharing his knowledge and let me tell you, he has a wealth of knowledge. OUTSTANDING!! Steve was very responsive on the phone and anticipated the problem perfectly, insofar as what the issue was, based on my description of what was wrong. He coordinated with me as far as taking a picture of the motor and informing him of the motor HP rating. He then took the information and purchased the necessary replacement motor, so as to not have to make several trips. I was in a bind given that the water in the pool was really looking bad and having to leave town that same day on a business matter. He was "JOHNNY ON THE SPOT" for me and my family and I would recommend him WITHOUT ANY HESITATION!!

I called Stephen about our pool pump not working, he came the next day as promised. He replaced the pump, did a good job, he knew what he was doing.

We've used Steve a few times for various issues with our pool. In this case, we have a birthday party this weekend for my son and our pool pump had an issue that was causing our pool slide to not work. Steve came out the same day and got it fixed. He's a super nice guy. Without us asking, he labeling our pipes and valves and then explained what he did and how it works. Plus he always keeps the price affordable which we really appreciate! I'd recommend him without hesitation!

Fantastically - He was able to get here to check out the problem the day of my call, and got the part in and repaired the pump apparatus the next day. He was a great source of information regarding our pool and the maintenance of it, especially given we do our our pool upkeep and are not in the market for someone to take care of it for us.
