Painter1 of Boca Raton

Lisa and her crew did a pretty good job painting the house and cut work. The reason for the 1 star review is because Lisa Peterford assured me Painter1 would use a Behr paint from their color wheel so that I could easily find the color at Home Depot and do touchup work as needed. Her crew specifically went out and got the wrong paint (Glidden) which has a different base white then Behr. Therefore they had to color match a Behr color with Glidden paint. They chose the wrong paint and primer to cut down on costs and quality. I recently had work done on my house that had to be repainted and the correct color is completely different than whatever Painter1 put on my house. When I asked for an explanation Lisa lied to me about the paint and then backtracked and said it was because they believed it was a better paint. So, a professional painter thought it would be a better idea to attempt to color match the color (which voids the warranty on their website) then use the right paint and color that was easily accessible to her. Worse yet she has never responded or attempted to rectify the problem. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to match their mistake with no avail. I will never be able to get the correct color on my entire house. Lisa Peterford and Painter1 have effectively made it impossible for me to ever have the correct color and will cost me hundreds, possibly thousands of dollars to touch up and correct the paint on my house, now and for years to come. The house is painted beautifully, however I cannot trust her, or her crew to do an honest job and that is more important than anything.

Excellent service. Painters were attentive and on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. The crew was not satisfied until I was pleased, and they took customer satisfaction to the utmost. Before concluding the job, Lisa did a final walk-through to ensure they hadn't missed anything. You can't beat their quality and professionalism. We will definitely be repeat customers!

One of my issues with hiring contractors is that they tell you one thing and it never happens according to their plan- With Lisa everything worked out according to the expectations she set. The crews that came in were very professional and Lisa always came and checked their work daily. They took care all the issues and made sure I was happy with the work. I will highly recommend their company.

From the very capable owner Lisa, who oversees all aspects of the job from free estimates to reviewing with the crew to make certain they understand all aspects of the job; to the Very professional and courteous painting crew who know how to prepare the rooms for painting and, well, to paint carefully and completely! And all at a fair and reasonable price. Look no further for any painting needs! These folks paint, they don't schmear!!

Prompt phone call from Lisa started a great experience overall. Follow-up call to confirm appointment for estimate. Had only one week in area at the time, bit of confusion on start date but Lisa came through and provided 4 painters for very quick turnaround. Approximately 1050 sq. ft. completed in two 8-hour days. Entire condo was painted beige/gray color with white trim. All painters were extremely professional, courteous, very accommodating to our requests (touch up, etc.), and cleaned up at end of each day. When project was finished everything was just as they found it except a different color. The final price did come out a bit higher than the approximate verbal estimate, but we received a 10% discount and there was no charge for 2 bathroom ceilings. Place looks wonderful and would highly recommend.

Lisa is an amazing person to work with! When she first arrived, we talked about her work history and experience in the business. She looked around my business, measured, not once but twice, and gave me a solid estimate. We agreed upon the price, had a written contract and they started the job a few days later. As with anything, the one or two minor mistakes that occur, were fixed and the place looks amazing. She then came to the house I just moved into, measured the rooms, gave me an estimate and performed the job as expected from her previous job. I am very pleased how both places turned out. Her Crew was punctual, professional and Lisa oversaw everything. Even last minute changes were handled with the ulitmate care and consideration and in a timely manner. I can't say enough good things about Painter1. Just wish other businesses we're as professional as Lisa and Painter1! I highly recommend Painter1

Fantastic! Lisa and her crew did a great job....they took care of everything from start to finish....they even took great care of all my clutter! The price was excellent for their service and they were very professional. Definitely would recommend Painter 1 for your painting needs!

Lisa and her team are AMAZING! I can't recommend her enough. She was one of the most professional, responsive, and hard-working individuals that I've ever worked with. She communicated with my husband and I regularly to help us with anything that we needed. Not only is she amazing but her team is as well. The experience went very well. It was excellent service. They did a very good job. I worked with Lisa who gave a very competitive quote and was straight forward with what would get done. It only took two days. They knocked it out really quickly. I didn't have to do anything and I loved that.

They came on time, there were 3 workers, did an excellent job, owner stopped by twice to see how it was going. They are very detail oriented and did a great job!
