I bought a "Big Deal" on Angie's List for 2 Hours of electrical work for $119. I think this was a really great deal. I had an outdoor outlet that was not working and we were unable to trouble shoot it ourselves. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it started working the day Mike from Maccloud Electrical arrived. It was a little frustrating for this to happen. Anyway, he did have a pretty good theory on what happened (moisture that had dissipated) and he replaced the outlet so that water could not penetrate it in the future. We paid an extra $5 for the outlet. Since we still had another 1.5 hours to go, we just had him fill in missing labels on our circuit breaker and I doubt he stayed more than one hour. In the end, it was not really a good deal for me but through no fault of theirs. It was very easy to set up the appointment, Mike called that day of service to let me know he'd be a few minutes late and he was very professional. I would definitely use them again when I have a real electrical problem!

Hired for 2 hours of electrical work but company was not available for 2 weeks from time of hiring. We just moved into a new home and needed work done earlier. Company was very courteous and understanding of our situation.

Corey was just simply fantastic. Took the time to go over all my concerns, and did the job right the first time! He took the time to explain any issues and how to go about fixing them. On top of that, he even went out of his way to check power for me on my AC that stopped working in the midst of his job! He was such a pleasure and would highly recommend his services if you are in need!

I sent pictures of the panel to them beforehand and he thought he had all of the items he would need, however after coming to the condo he needed something different. So the only delay was waiting for him to get back. However, I am glad it was done correctly with the right parts! He was very professional, he had to do more work than we thought after he took off the old panel. However, he never charged me anything extra! I would definitely recommend.

I came home from a 10 day vacation to find that my water pump had burned out. I got a water pump dude out to fix it (he was great) and told me that I had also burned out the relay box on the side of my house and it needed to be replaced. It was arcing and smoking . . . it was no good. I called MacCloud Electric and they had their namesake electrician out to see me in 2 hours. They are a really great husband and wife team (the wife is in the office and is who you will talk to if you call the company). They were both very sweet and helpful and Mr MacCloud did a great job repairing my relay switch. I would absolutely use them again.

It went okay. He never showed me his license though. I requested his license and he didn't have it. He didn't really come prepared for what I wanted him to do and he had to run and get parts but it worked out. He didn't call me ahead of time to see what he needed to do. He showed up. I had to provide all the stuff, which I did. I had to exchange the breaker control box for the sprinkler timer because it wasn't the right one, so I did that. And then I came back and he said, oh by the way, I don't have the circuit breaker that I need for this other device. I said, then why didn't you call me when i was at Home Depot? If you need something you call. I'm doing the go getting. I thought I was going to run out of time. I would be leary of using him again, I want someone with a license.

They just did everything right and there was nothing overly outstanding. They did what they were supposed to do.

The installation went well and Corey performed the job within the two hour period of the Angie's List big deal.

There are no details to share. I made the appointment without a problem. They showed up on the appointed day at the appointed time and did the work perfectly Here's the problem: I have called 2 times and left a message to have them do some additional work - they did not return my calls. I called a third time and left my name and number with a gentleman - no return call. I called a fourth time and the phone just rang.

Cory is awesomesauce! 1) He arrived and on time! 2) I showed him the issues and he started working on it right away. It was not just as simple as oh replace this piece. There was a lot of figuring out what was going on from who did the work from the previous home owner. 3) Cory is a nice person at heart and wants to do the right thing not just to make money. He explained everything that needed to be done for my issues and even suggested other stuff to make things safe which is my priority! 4) It makes a world of difference to me to have someone come in my home where in a short period of time I feel I can trust him. 5) I would totally recommend him to anyone and will definitely be contacting him again!

They replaced an outdoor GFI box, a shorted out plug, several halogen light bulbs and rehung a ceiling light. Arrived on time, fixed everything and out the door in no time at all.

I purchased two hours electrical service from Angie's list at a special price. I could not get the work done as early as I would have like but that was fine; the work was scheduled within a week. The tech called to let me know he was running behind and that was important for me. He arrived and within the two hours the two old fans were removed and the new ones installed. I was pleased and would definitely used them again. He even installed an outlet cover and I really appreciated that. They are the best!

Everything went perfectly! The gentleman was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, diligent and neat. He accomplished what seemed to be an impossible task within the 2 hour window!

Before going to Angie's List, I used another business that sent me 2 companies in email; which 1 of the 2 contacted me. After the owner came to my home, "red flags" were coming fast with what he said & didn't say which led to my firing him! THEN, I received an Angie's List email of a deal that was ending that day and I took it! Mainly, I needed light in my master bathroom(had not had a regular light for 3yrs.) and my kitchen 8' light needed a new ballast...the buzzing was so annoying! Then, I decided to also do a "new" fixture in my guest bathroom, too. I purchased Angie's deal on Thursday, 4/09/15 & someone cancelled their appointment for Fri., 4/10/15 @ 9am; and, I got it! So happy and satisfied to choose: Maccloud Electrical! I had bought the fixtures and bulbs at Home Depot all ready for the service person to do their work in the 2-hr. deal/$129.00. Mike arrived at 8:50am and finished at 10:15am! Mike found a couple of issues in each of the 2 bathrooms; spoke with me about them...and, to me they were minor issues that didn't have to do with the function of the fixtures. Mike was very nice and I could see that he knew what he was doing; and, did an excellent job! After finishing one area of work, Mike would remove the old fixture from my home; he was very neat in his work. Finally, I've found an electrical company, Mccloud, for any future jobs. Great. Unfortunately it was a tough job for 1 person so the 2 hours were exceeded and I paid extra to complete. The electrical cord from the fan to the box was suppose to be white. Home Depot only had black so the installer used black. I would have liked the end result better if the cord was white! The fan works great and we are enjoying the work.

He cancelled the first appointment because he had to get his kid from school. He came early the next day but we never heard from him again. No call no or e-mail or quote ever came. Wasted our time and we had to start from scratch.
