Description of Work: We sold our house in Venice Florida. We had to move things into storage as we were on a limited time schedule. The young men who came were, on time, polite and had a very good work ethic. |Had I been more observant the way the stored our belongings was not very well thought out and could have used a smaller storage unit however I would use them again as I know what direction they need.

Response from LEE'S MOVING COMPANY
On June 18, 2014 we gave [Removed member's name] a guaranteed price and an estimate for packing, crating, and moving of her household goods. We explained to her that the move will take approximately 2 to 2 1/2 days and that we will send 1 truck, 4 men and all the equipment she will need to accomplish her move and packing. On packing day we sent the packers. On moving day the packing was done. We sent a 26ft truck along with the movers. The 26ft truck is the biggest single axle truck that the State of Florida will allow you to operate on the highway. We do have 18 wheelers that we didn't send her; we didn't think she needed an 18 wheeler because we didn't think we would be able to get in and out of where she was moving into. The move took place on 7/3/14. We weren't aware that there was a problem. If someone works for you, your friend/family or a company works for you and you are not satisfied with the job that was performed. You should let that company know that you was not happy and ask them to correct the problem or fix the problem. She never mentioned to anything to us. We were quite unaware that [Removed member's name] had a problem. She never informed our company that she was not pleased. In our opinion we believe that [Removed member's name] is a wonderful lady and a nice person. We appreciate her business very much. She should have let us known that she had a problem and we would have done our best to solve that problem. And, not wait until 4 months later; to go to social media. When one phone call could have taken care of everything. TO all consumers out there it's your responsibility to let your hired service know that you are not happy and something needs to be done as soon as possible. We're eager to know if our client's have a problem so that we can address it immediately. Thanks, Lee's Moving Company

I called for an estimate and spoke with Michael, who came to my home the next day. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to work with me regarding my time constraints and budget. Had many pieces of artwork that I was concerned about and needed storage for about two weeks until I was settled into new home. Michael guaranteed a professional and seamless move and assured me that my artwork would not be damaged. The men (4) showed up bright and early on Saturday and got to work immediately. They packed dishes with care and my large flat screen TV was what they called 'crated'. My artwork was in good hands as well. Michael even stopped by to make sure that things were running smoothly. I used their storage facility for a couple weeks and was pleased to see that it was air-conditioned and things were stored by customer in an orderly fashion. I merely had to call Michael and let him know when I needed the remainder of my things delivered. Though I did call some low budget companies and could have paid a couple hundred dollars less, I am thrilled with the service I received from Lee's and firmly believe that regarding your valuables and home items, you get what you pay for. With so many moving companies out there ready to scam you, I'm grateful for Michael and the Lee's team. Other companies on their level such as United and Bekins were not as willing to work with me on price and were not as flexible as I needed them to be. I highly recommend Lee's Moving Company.
