K & J CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION

Our driveway and approach were a mess. Everything was broken and pieces were missing. It was 50 plus year old patch job and needed replacing. Called 8 concrete driveway contractors. K&J was the first to show up....that day. Waited another few days for other estimates. They came in slowly, and 4 not at all. One had me measure the driveway myself...he was the lowest price. Not a good sign. Another told me to be careful, there are lots of cheats out there. He was the next lowest price, but we had to jump start his ol' truck to get him out of the driveway....not a good sign. Still another asked for my address so he could check out my drive on Google Earth and email me an estimate. Seriously? Needless to say, with went with K&J Concrete. We are so glad we did. Professional, courteous and prompt. Joe explained everything and set up a time frame of what would happen, and when. The Excavation went smoothly, the framing was perfect, and the code inspector was impressed by the quality of the work. Wow, you don't hear that every day. The pour was interesting to watch, Joe and his brother Bill worked together like a fine Swiss watch, and in no time, (9 hours) they were done. The driveway is a thing of beauty.

Joe was fantastic. We had a plumbing problem and we had to tear up a small patio in the back yard. He was nice to come and give me an incredible estimate. He is the nicest man you ever want to meet. He did not take a deposit. The overall experience was excellent. The price and quality were excellent. He is an A all the way, and rate him higher than A, if you can. He will be coming back to do my circle driveway.
