This is our third time using Guardian. Glenn is awesome. Always friendly and helpful. As I've stated in other reviews he is very professional and doesn't waste time, he gets right down to fixing the problem. My internet speeds were less than desirable so he suggested a WIFI Range Extender by Apple. I trusted his advice and I know Apple makes a more than reliable product so I purchased from Glenn and had him install it on the wall in our kitchen. Looks very professional and inconspicuous. As before, I knew we could count on him to do this with ease. And guess what? My internet is flying now. I'm the type with a million things hooked up to the WIFI at once so this was a challenge, and twenty min after he got here problem solved! He also installed a new printer/copy/fax we bought from Office Depot. He removed the old one for us so we didn't have to go through the trouble and easily set the new one up. He also did the job RIGHT by installing the printer software and networking it for us :)

The new router works amazing and our connection problems are solved finally. Work was done quickly and professionally, VERY HAPPY with new router! Thank you!

Glen is CLEARLY very talented with computers. He also has the perfect attitude that you would want from a computer tech. He was very helpful and was open to any questions we had through the entire process. He gave clear and honest answers/solutions. He also saved us quite a bit of money, not only because of his MORE THAN fair pricing, but with other applications within our business as well. He spent no time talking about irrelevant personal information (which I have unfortunately experienced with other techs. Trust me it's agonizing). Spent the entire time working from one task to the next. Glen is the most professional and honest person for the job. This is the impression he left me with. The services performed: Set up brand new PC. Data transfer (which I thought would be a problem since the old computer was FULL of problems). Installation of Quickbooks, Printer, Drive backup (3 yr). Purchased Keyboard and mouse set up. Everything was finished successfully in 2 hours. Very happy!

Glen arrived within a few hours of my phone call and got right to work. He is a very pleasant man and REALLY knows his computers inside and out. He added some memory to help speed up my system. I have used Glen on other projects and have always found him to possess superior knowledge to any "Geek." He has always explained what I needed so I understood and has done the work quickly and well. Very very efficient and accomodating, does perfect work quickly and is the kind of technician you hope to find, but never seem to be able to find, especially here in south Florida. I cannot recommend him enough!

Not only did Glen do the requested cleanup, but he also took the time to explain some of the benefits of Windows 8. I had mentioned to him that I didn't really understand this new operating system and it was nice of Glen to ttake the time to show me some of the great features that Windows 8 provides.

I had excellent service. It was prompt, thorough and reasonable. I would not hesitate to call him again. I had a lot of difficulties with my wireless system and he was able to accommodate me within a day. He helped me with that and other things that I needed. His name was Glenn and I think he was the president of the company. He came to my condo. I was very pleased with the services. I would highly recommend him. The cost was $160 and he was there for two and a half hour which I felt was very reasonable. He charged $100 for the first hour and $60 for the remainder of the time.

Glen is a very laid back person, and did not try and upsell us while working on our computers. Our computer and printer are working great! I would recommend him to anyone else looking for computer services.

Glen has been helping us with our computers for a year now. He is on time, extremely knowledgeable, and provides expert service to my whole family.

The issue was time critical due to reports that I had to generate and they went the extra mile to get me up and running.

My computer was very slow. It was very annoying. I thought that it was because of the ever increasing amount of info being used by my computer but then I worried that it might have been infected with a virus or malware. Glen Hart came when he said he would, diagnosed my computer. realized I needed to increase the speed of my DSL, contacted AT&T for me and cleaned up my hardrive. My slow computer drove me crazy. Problem solved for $60.

Glen is everything his prior reviews have stated: Completely professional, thoroughly knowledgeable, very punctual, and incredibly fair priced!! He was able to come earlier than previous appt. & called to verify. I can't over praise this gentleman - he is an absolute GEM! I plan on using him for all my future PC issues.. exclusively!!

Glen was very punctual (or called on the phone if he was going to be a few min. late). He worked for several hours at my house, trying to restore my computer. He worked well over his max. charge of $180, trying for almost 3 hours to bring things back to normal. In the end, he asked if he could take the laptop to his shop where, if he couldn't repair the issue, he would install a new hard drive (faster than the one I had). He presented the cost of this, so there were no surpises in the end. Glen appeared to be very versed in his IT work, explaining things as he went along. When he took the computer with him, he promised to return it on a certain date, which he did. The computer worked well when he returned it. Also, I might add that I needed some help loading an I-pod which I needed for the hospital the next day, and he stayed over for at least 30 min. helping (and instructing) me how to load the i-pod from my computer. He knew how important this was to me, as I was scheduled for surgery and needed the i-pod. He volunteered his time and skills to actually get this organized for me and he did it on his own time. I was very appreciative! Thank you, Glen!

6 months later, Glenn fixed another issue with my computer with the upmost professionalism. Glenn is great technician.

He found that the hard drive was so corrupted by a virus that it was necessary to completely restore the system. .Luckily all the data had been backed up to an external drive only a few days previously.

My laptop seemed dead. He restored it with no loss of data. My wife needed a new laptop and got her one at a fair price. He arrived when he said he would and did what he said he would while giving us good explanations of what he was doing. He was professional and a real gentleman. I would recommend him to anyone who needs their computer serviced.

Glen evaluated our laptop problems and optimized the C Drive on our laptop. He did a good job explaining what was causing our problems and alternative solutions. He installed larger memory drive promptly and guided us through all the questions we asked.

The truth of the matter is that awhile back I had learned very basic information re: the computer and how to use it. Most of the time I find that cables are not easy to keep track of since there are so many of them. With that said at some point the external speakers had stopped working~~ therefore no sound. Over the phone a tech support individual had advised me to remove the sound cable then put it back. Yes, I found that particular cable and unplugged it. However, afterwards I felt stymied by all of the cables and was unable to find where that particular one had belonged. This was due to the fact that it was difficult to get to the back of the tower in the first place~~difficult to move it forward...and sooo many cables! (Are you laughing hysterically yet?) Next, the brand new modem from Xfinity had arrived. I knew that I would not be able to deal with it. Therefore I checked Angie's List and found Glen Hart of Guardian Computer & A / V Services. His credentials show that he is lavishly qualifed to resolve computer issues as well as to provide very helpful instruction. I called, and Glen Hart came the next day (ahead of schedule!!) He showed me the sound cable and where it belonged. Voila! There was sound~~crisp and clear!! (I had felt so silly for not having found where to put that cable!) Additionally, in no time at all, Glen had fixed the printer. It works perfectly now! The PC was tuned up also. It was just as though Glen was working on his very own computer. Next, he speedily connected the new modem and did all that was necessary to set it up with Comcast. That phase which required the set up with Comcast shows that Glen has the patience of Job! Last, but far from least, Glen reconnected the cables to my blu ray disc player. He is quite brilliant and a lifesaver! Most definitely I will choose his expertise for future computer issues. Additionally, Glen provided very helpful advice re: the purchase of a camera. Rather than feel puzzled, silly, or any of those counterproductive emotions, I will call upon Glen for instruction and/or any computer related issues. Glen is professional, tremendously knowledgeable, truly an expert. He takes great care. Plus, Glen is very pleasant. His rates are very fair. I highly recommend Guardian Computer & A / V Services.

My experience with Glen was great! I got in touch with him right away, explained my problem, and he scheduled an appointment for the next day. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He knew right away what my problem was and how to fix it. He was extremely up front with the pricing and gave me an accurate estimate. He also gave me several choices of hardware depending on how much I wanted to pay. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the fact that he took my computer back to his shop and took care of everything. Glen was very prompt and professional. Got to work quickly on the computer and diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes. Also cleaned and optimized the system and checked the status of other devices. Great service, highly recommended.

I called Guardian computer services based on the reviews that I read on Angies list. Glen said that the could come the following day which was great for me. He arrived on time and answered all my questions. He spent over two hours with me fixing the many problems that I had encountered with my Mac and helping me understand how my computer works. He will definitely be my computer guy from now on.

My gut feelings were right about Glen. Here in Floriduh you often have to go through 200 thorns to get to one rose and Glen is a rose. He is the only computer person that I will use from now on.

Price was lower than quoted originally and recommendations he made were spot on target. Recommending him to everyone I know who needs PC help.
