Eddie's Home Repair

Eddie arrived on time. He was courteous and keep his work area tidy. He did a good job hanging these large pieces for me. He spent spent around 5hrs on this project of mine. I will use him again.

Eddie removed two walls of cabinets in my laundry room as well as a large utility sink/cabinet. He cut up the wood and carefully loaded my SUV so I could dispose of at the landfill (360lbs total!). Eddie impeccably reparied all the walls and prepared them for painting. He painted the laundry room, long hallway, family room and a bedroom as well as installed a ceiling fan on a slanted high ceiling. When he's finished with a job he previously had scheduled, he'll be back for sure to do more painting and other miscellaneous jobs I've been wanting to do but never had someone with such diverse skills. I truly appreciate his honesty in letting me know certain things I requested he said he'd refer me to the right professional. If you hire Eddie, you are in great hands.

I needed some drywall repair work done in my home. Like many, I turned to Angie's List to find someone to do the work. Eddie was among the first to respond. Naturally, I did my due diligence and shopped around. I found some that wanted to charge me a lot more than the price Eddie quoted me, and I found a couple that were willing to charge me less. However, I wanted someone to do the job right! In the end, I chose Eddie because he explained the entire repair process to me and was not interested in making a quick in and out repair job. I found Eddie to be both friendly and professional. I could not be happier with the work he did. I highly recommend Eddie.

He did complete the adjustment of pocket door, he said he would have to jury rig it and would not do that. He changed lights bulbs, could not help figure out issue with GFI to pond pump. Complained because too plants around pound. Could not attach head board to frame. Did not have any bolts/screws, showed him ones in my garage and he said they would not work. A mover that was helping me organize furniture in my garage, found bolts in my garage and hooked up to bed, he completed fixing the pocket door. So he asked for 170. for lock and 2 bulb changed and bi__ched the whole time. I gave him 160 because he did not have change for a $20. He was the worst handman I ever have had in 30 years and charged a fortune for this pittling amount of work. Worst ever experience with home repair person ever!!!

Eddie was very prompt answering his phone when I first called, and within a couple of minutes we had a time and date set for removal of my extremely heavy cast iron tub, wall mirror and vanity. Services were done to my satisfaction in a short period of time. Hauled away all of the items for me also. Would hire again - highly recommend!

This is my second time hiring Eddie. Always punctual, courteous and professional. Lots of patchwork and preparation before painting. Great paint job. To whoever is reading this and considering hiring Eddie, just do it.

Eddie has performed handyman services for our house more than 3 times and his work has always been professional. He is consistently on-time and the quality is excellent. We will call on him again if services are required.

It went better than great. Ed’s experience is what made this removal possible. He was willing to do whatever it took to get the job done for me. Also, very personable, reliable and professional. I will be hiring him again in the near future.

Eddie showed up when he said he would right on time. We discussed what we were looking to do. We needed a way to get into the attic space above our condo. We explained what we were looking for and he described what he would suggest. He then got to work. He worked quickly and cleaned up after he completed the work. He had us review his work to make sure we were satisfied. We discussed other services he could provide and will plan to call him again in the future.

Eddie was professional, diligent, and extremely competent in performing all work. He was committed to completing the job in a timely manner, working within our time constraints. His pricing is fair, he's trustworthy, and a pleasure to work with. The job was completed without drama. I plan on using Eddie for additional work and highly recommend him. I can only hope that we can continue a long, professional relationship.

He was terrific! My husband is no longer able to do work around the house and Eddie came to us and made our home comfortable again. He is very professional, pleasant, efficient, and was a pleasure to have in our home. We plan to call upon him again in the near future.

Eddie was punctual and prepared to do the work at hand. I had 4 different projects from replacing ceiling tile to replacing light bulbs and some hanging shelves. The projects were completed well and relatively speedy.

Awful. Eddie is rude, nasty and so unprofessional. He's lazy and severely overcharges. Do not hire him. Don't waste your time or money.

Eddie was great. I frequently schedule work for my elderly mother and he shows up on time ready to get the service performed. In this particular instance he went above and beyond with the job and more. Glad to know that there are professional people out there who care about their clients.

Eddie was rude and presented with a lot of "attitued. He was annoyed that he had to drive in from "way out west" to provide a bid. He asked for pictures to be texted to him to make his bid. Instead, we provided a detailed inspection report complete with pictures and details of problems. He complained about this numerous times and didn't bother to read/open the report, complaining again that he didn't get the pictures he asked for. He also made several attempts to blame my "wife" or imply that he didn't follow his simple instructions. In the end, he could tell I didn't appreciate his attitude and threw-out a number as he turned to get into his truck.

Eddie is on time, trustworthy and fast. He patches several large hikes in garage. Also painted while garage and repaired items as needed. He also took pictures of the job during the process and texted them to me. Definitely will use in future

Eddie returned my v-mail message in 10 minutes. Requested I send images of the scope of work. He advised of his rate, how long he thought the work would take, and how he was to be compensated. Eddie was always punctual, did fantastic work & worked fast. He is paid by the hour but did. It waste time. Very neat and organized. If you seek a professional that does impeccable work and charges a very fair rate, Eddie is your man.

Eddie worked for 2 1/2 days cleaning up after a mold remediation. He replaced drywall, removed the entire kitchen cabinets, installed baseboards and finished off the installation of cabinets. His best assets are his carpentry skills and his speed. As a fast worker, he is focused on providing value and the best overall result. With that in mind, the rules to follow with him are that he is paid daily and the customer will pay for materials. If a home improvement store is close, then the trip to buy supplies is quick. He is real quick and adept at hanging drywall. I had about a sheet and a half hung and about 12 feet of free taping done under the counter to have a wall built up to provide a seamless look. He had a masterful touch with the joint compound that left a smooth surface. I had some areas that required some skill to cover some blemishes and Eddie fit the bill perfectly. He was punctual and courteous. The worksite was clean and every little detail was accommodated.

While Eddy was initially responsive and working to communicate, we quickly found ourselves having to help him work to overcome minor issues such as not having an appropriate ladder or tools. We found a ladder, had the tools, we just needed him to come and install some pre-purchased racks. We had a time scheduled, but he called back the day before the job saying he didn't think it would work and wasn't going to "risk his livelyhood and reputation" to install them. We then hired another contractor who came over and very easily accomplished the work in about 4 hours. Not sure what Eddie's handyman expertise is, but I imagine it's specific.

He was very efficient and completed the work quickly.

I called Eddie on a Thursday evening and left a voicemail, he called back in about 10 minutes. I explained the job to him and he explained his procedures and his rates ($100 for the first hour and $60 for every hour after that). We made an appointment for Saturday (today) and he arrived exactly at the agreed upon time. He worked very efficiently and did a wonderful job (he’d even call me over periodically explain what he was doing and why). He completed the job in about 2.5 hours (that included the time it took him to go to Home Dept for the supplies). Overall, great job!
